Upcoming Features of SPLAT-VO in Astroinformatics
Šaloun, P. ; Andrešič, D. ; Škoda, Petr ; Zelinka, I.
During last decade was developed fully automatized (robotic) class of telescopes, that produce huge amount of data per each night. Amount of recorded data is usually in the scale of petabytes. To process properly all data and select an important events it is needed to use sophisticated software methods and algorithms. It caused an appearance of a new field of science - astroinformatics. In this paper we introduce a small part of our contribution to the astroinformatics field - a specialized software SPLAT-VO. It is used for processing and visualization of astrophysical data generated by nonlinear, complex or even chaotic processes in the space. Overview of new features so far prepared for new version of SPLAT-VO. The overview is focused on enhancements of user experience, work with SAMP protocol and other interoperability that improves work with global list of spectra, plot window and analysis menu.

From the five-factor model to the five-factor theory of personality
Hřebíčková, Martina
The contribution contains explication of the five-factor theory(FFT) of personality, which was evolved by McCrae and Costa (1996). FFT is a contemporary version of trait theory, based on the assumptions that people are knowable, rational, variable, and proactive. FFT explains personality functioning as the operation of universal personality system, with defined categories of variables and classes of dynamic processes that indicate the main causual pathways. The components of the personality system are designated as 1) biological bases (genes and brain structures), 2) basic tendencies (abstract psychological potentials), 3) characteristic adaptations (concrete manifestation of basic tendencies), 4) self-concept, 5) objective biography, 6) external influences. Dynamic processes secify 16 postuales to specify how the personality system operates. The most radical postulate concerns an origin of the traits, which declares that traits like a temperament are endogenous basic tendencies that are heritable but unafected by environmental influences.

Nové inhibitory HIV proteasy: návrh, synthesa a testování aktivity
Schimer, Jiří ; Konvalinka, Jan (advisor) ; Obšil, Tomáš (referee)
More than 20 years after its discovery HIV protease still remains one of the primary targets in HIV treatment. Currently there are 9 approved protease inhibitors on the market. However, due to immense replication rate and the high error prone nature of reverse transcriptase, resistance to each of them has already been described. Therefore, the search for new protease inhibitors with different binding mode is still active. A novel type of protease inhibitors (1, 4-benzodiazepine analogs) was recently discovered in our laboratory. Even though this new class of inhibitors is highly potent (Ki' in range of 10-9 ), it also has several undesirable qualities, such as low solubility and a high number of stereogenic centers. Primary objective of this study was to try to prepare more soluble compounds with lower number of possible stereoisomers, enzymologically characterize its binding to the wild-type and mutated HIV protease and to determine its structure in the complex with the enzyme. A small library of 1, 4-benzodiazepine inhibitors of HIV protease was synthesized and fully characterized using NMR spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy. The number of stereogenic centers was successfully reduced from 4 to 2 without loosing activity of the inhibitor. The improvement in solubility was always associated with a...

Gothic mural painting in castle chapels in Bohemia
Čechová, Lucie ; Royt, Jan (referee) ; Hlaváčková, Jana Hana (advisor)
This work is an investigation of Czech Gothic murals in castle chapels in Bohemia. The key for including of a mural to the catalogue was the founding date between early middle-ages up to the year 1526; end of the hegemony of the Jagellon dynasty amongst Bohemian Kingdom. The core of the work is a comprehensive catalogue of such murals. Included are 12 localities where these murals can be found, dating through 300 years of the middle-ages. Not included in this catalogue are the three well-documented sacral spaces in Karlštejn castle, although they also fit the time period in question. It must be acknowledged that the Karlštejn chapel murals are key elements in understanding this style and era, due to their quality and influential nature. This essay sought to isolate and explore any specific typology in this class of artwork. However, it must be stated that no such unique common character exists. The murals are more a reflection of the requirements and tastes of the individual patrons; they also express the fashion of their particular eras. There are also discrepancies in quality, which vary from century to century. In the 14th century, the quality of the investigated murals cannot be compared to that of paintings in the court of the King. However, by the late 15th and 16th centuries, the quality of murals...

The history and benefits of CT as an examination method
Melicharová, Ivana ; Adla, Theodor (referee) ; Bruna, Josef (advisor)
Historical development and contribution ct as investigative method My baccalaureate work is divided to the several part. At the beginning I'm deal with case - history computed tomography, where I'm mention names of physicists that the about discovery tomography deserved. Further I'm described structure computed tomograph, which to be almost near of all apparatus the same, only happens to perfection. It is perceptible near characterization separate generations CT apparatus, step by step escalate numbers of detectors and investigation happen for patients more convenient and thrifty in taken radiation dose. To investigation computed tomography is necessary application contrast medium, described an forms version, type contrast medium and their function. Work finishes summary of radiation empty weight for patients, scope of employment radiological assistant in the workplace of computer tomography and it's round off characterization computed tomography with dual energy of radiation. A Grammar of North West Lovari Romani
Wagner, Peter ; Hübschmannová, Milena (advisor) ; Friedová, Mirjam (referee) ; Halwachs, Dieter W (referee)
The descriptive grammar analyzes the North West variety of Lovari, i.e. the Hungarized Vlax dialect of Romani. The analysis is based upon fieldwork recordings and upon few written texts. The study presents the delimitation against related varieties and dialects, the sociolinguistic situation of the speakers, phonetics, phonology, phonetic alteration, and an overview of relevant grammatical categories. One chapter is dedicated to nominal and verbal morphology, to the use of forms, word formation and morphology of the preposition. The chapter on syntax describes non-morphological onomasiology, the structure of the noun phrase, presents frequent adverbs and modal, aspect, and discourse particles. The chapter on syntax continues with the clause structure, sentence types, the word order mechanisms, subordination and coordination. From a typological viewpoint, the language of the study is flective, employing several nominal and verbal inflectional classes, and agglutinative with respect to several morphological classes, such as case and tense marking. It is fusional in a sense, that number is cumulatively coded together with other features, with gender in nominal inflection, and with person in verbal inflection.

Štolbová, Milena ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Pösinger, Martin (referee)
IT security management is one of the essential processes in the company. This thesis deals with aspects of managing the IT security by the methodology of ITIL and COBIT. First part is focused on covering the IT security, defining the terms and concept necessary for indicating the impact of the IT security breach, the common threads which the company needs to resist and stance of methodology ITIL, COBIT and ISO/IEC 27002:2005 for managing the IT security and its specifics. In the following chapter there is a sentencious look at the structure of methodology of COBIT and more detailed depiction of COBIT Security Baseline document. The next chapter defines the methodology of ITIL, briefly compares the ITIL v2 and ITIL v3 versions, and what is more, comes up with structured view into the document of Security management which details the concept of IT security management within the company by the ITIL standards. The main thesis objective located in the last chapter is to compare the main features of both methodologies, the range of their aplicability within the company, and which is the most important, comparing them in the field of managing the IT security.

Zobecnění objektově orientovaného paradigmatu zavedením morfologie objektů
Šlajchrt, Zbyněk ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Merunka, Vojtěch (referee) ; Virius, Miroslav (referee)
Modeling protean objects, i.e. objects adapting their structure and behavior dynamically with respect to a changeable environment, is often challenging in traditional object-oriented languages. According to the author, the root cause of this problem lies in the class-based conceptual framework embedded in the foundation of the object-oriented para-digm. The proposed paradigm Object Morphology (OM) is greatly influenced by prototype theory developed in the field of cognitive psychology. OM abandons the notion of class and suggests, instead, that the abstractions of protean objects should be established through the construction of morph models describing the possible forms of those objects. This the-sis defines the theoretical foundations of OM, which is further used to specify the elements of prototypical object-oriented analysis. An important part of this work is also a proof-of-concept implementation of an OM framework in Scala.
