The growth of brown trout (Salmo trutta, L.) in Blanice river and its tributaries
BALCAR, Jakub
The aim of the study was to compare the growth of brown trout in the river Blanice and its tributaries - Živný brook during the growing season 2013. Due to unfavorable hydrological situation in the Blanice river was used data about the growth of brown trout in a defined section of the river, obtained during an experiment in 2007.Tagged fish were divided into three size categories: small juvenile, large juvenile and adult fish. The specific growth rate of all groups of fish from the Živný brook was higher than in the same groups of fish in Blanice river. Significantly higher growth rate of small juvenile fish compared to the groups larger fish was also demonstrated in the Živný brook. The results show that the growth rate of brown trout mainly depends on the nutrient (food) content of the flow, rather than its size or population density of brown trout.
Combined Photo- and Electrochemical Treatment of Wastewaters Containing Nitro- and Amino- Compounds
Krystyník, Pavel ; Klusoň, Petr ; Cempírek, F.
Electrocoagulation is a very effective method for inorganic pollutants removal from water. It is possible to remove more than 95 % of inorganic pollutants depending on pH and current density. Photochemical oxidation is able to remove all organic compounds from water depending mainly on hydrogen peroxide concentration. Electrocoagulation also contributes to reduce the content of organic compounds so it decreases the hydrogen peroxide consumption in the oxidative treatment.

Comparision of rate of pike and pike perch cannibalism in first year of life
SVATEK, Petr
Abstract Larvae of perch (100-200 thousand per ha) were planted into the ponds Bejkovna (1,33 ha) and Kamenný (1,54 ha). Larvea of pikeperch (150 - 300 thousand per ha) into the ponds Hejškův (0,88 ha) and Hadač (2,7 ha). Pond Bagr was used such as an additional data source. The aim of this study was Comparision of rate of pike and pike perch cannibalism in first year of life. There wasn?t observed cannibalism and different sizes of perch individuals in the ponds Bejkovna and Kamenný. Total length (TL) of the fish was 50,5 ? 2,85 mm in the pond Bejkovna and 41,58 ? 1,56 mm in the pond Kamenný at the end of observed period. Average growth rate was 0,86 mm/day in pond Bejkovna and 0,7 mm/day Kamenný. There was also no cannibalism by the perch (TL = 57,2 ? 1,34 mm) from the pond Bagr. It was possible to observe few individuals of roach (Rutilus rutilus) in the digestive tract. The level of cannibalism was 23 % in the pond Hadač and also in the pond Hejškův. The average TL was 31,59 ? 3,89 mm (average growth rate 0,9 mm/day) in the pond Hadač at the beginning of June and 26,83 ? 2,51 mm (average growth rate 0,77 mm/day) in the pond Hejškův. The average TL was 48,7 ? 10,04 mm in the pond Hadač at the end of June. There was observed cannibalism in the pond Hadač at the beginning of the June and also at the end of this month. TL of prey fish was 66,1 and 61,6 % of cannibals TL. There was observed cannibalism in the pond Hejškův until the mid of September. The average TL was 140,6 ? 35,4 mm here and cannibalism was observed in 23 % of cases. TL of prey fish was 54,9 % cannibals TL. The most important thing of the monoculture rearing of perch and pikeperch is sufficient amount of food. This is especially true in the case of pikeperch. Key words: Cannibalism, pike perch, perch
Computer simulation of interactions of molecules with mineral surfaces
BARVÍKOVÁ, Hana
This thesis is focused on molecular dynamics, modelling interactions and their simulation. One of the tasks was to familiarize with GROMACS, a molecular dynamics simulation software. This work also introduces the basics of molecular dynamics and modelling interactions of organic molecules with mineral surfaces. The aim of the thesis was to solve model tasks in GROMACS and analyze the output results. The thesis describes some of the most important file formats and utilities that are needed for working with GROMACS and the use of both the formats and the utilities. In this program, I built up several systems consisting of combinations of organic molecules such as benzoic acid, phenol, salicylic acid and their conjugate bases with mineral surfaces (quartz crystal) of different surface charge density. Furthermore I analyzed the results of these simulations, behaviour of the structures and adsorption geometries and interaction energies within these systems. The thesis might also serve as a quick introduction and familiarization with GROMACS with emphasis on simulations and analysis of systems with planar interfaces. Within the MetaCentrum Project I worked on the Hermes Computer Cluster belonging to the Faculty of Science at the University of South Bohemia.
Design and Development of the Network of Points of the Detailed Minor Horizontal Control using Geodetic and GPS Methods
ŽAHOUREK, Jakub
This thesis deals with "Design and Development of the Network of Points of the Detailed Minor Horizontal Control using Geodetic and GPS Methods" in the cadastral territory Jenín and Horní Kaliště. Using the map basis I conducted the reconnaissance and analysis of the current level of the minor control points in the target territory. Next I stabilized 14 new points of the DMHC, however, this thesis uses only 7 of these 14 points. The work aims to analyze the current level of the minor control and if needed to increase the field density for detailed large-scale mapping. For this purpose I used total station Leica TCR 407 power for the geodetic method and Trimble 4600LS device for the GPS method. Consequently I analyzed the accuracy of both methods.
The influence of density growth potatoes on decree tuber
ŠVAJNEROVÁ, Markéta
In the potato production type, 380 {--} 400 m above sea level, was studied density 40 000, 45 000, 50 000, 55 000 plants per 1 ha on the yield potato, average number of tubers on the plant, proportion and average weight of tubers. The maximum yield of tubers were recorded at density 45 000 plants per 1 ha (varieties Impala, Adéla, Futura). Density grow it was not influence at proportion market tubers. Highest density growth the meaning reduction average weight of tubers.
Hong Kong: economic expansion during 1945-1965
Oravec, Radovan ; Skřivan, Aleš (advisor) ; Szobi, Pavel (referee)
Hong Kong is one of the most interesting and most dynamic economies in global scope. Country, which at 19. century began development as a small British trading colony has changed into economic superpower during few years. Hong Kong reached it despite hostile conditions -- absence of minerals, dense population, hostile neighboring countries or great distance of potencial trading partners. I will focus on the period after Second World War until 1965, the period of essential economic growth. I will mainly explore the reasons of these positive stimuls, relationship with China, principles of banking system, stock exchange and position of Hong Kong as a financial centre in international scope. All will be clarified by real economic indicators as tables and graphs, which I will analyse and deduce rules of successful economic development, which should be in general inspirative for developing economies.
