Employment in a state-funded institution
Brožová, Milena ; Světlíková, Daniela (advisor) ; Pikola, Pavel (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on employment in a state-funded institution. It is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part deals with analysis of legal regulations and their interpretation. The method of description is used in this part. The focus in legal regulations is on the problems of a state-funded institution, namely on the legal position and functioning and on management. The focus is also on labour relations, from the general definition to the conclusion of employment for a fixed period of time. The analysis of legal regulations is complemented with interpretations of authors of specialized publications. Direct and indirect quotations are used in the text and are marked with footnotes. The empirical part of this thesis deals with the application of legal regulations in a particular state-funded institution. The order of researched areas is in accordance with the theoretical part. The method of comparison and study of documents and internal regulations are used for analysing the data. The primary research has shown that the legal regulations are applied without difficulty. The discovered discrepancy between the used terminology and the terminology in the Civil code does not invalidate legal documents and thus there is no need to mark it as a defect which needs to be fixed. Suggestions for discussion have been made, for which measures were proposed in the concluding part. The suggestions relate to arrangement of employment for a fixed period of time and its change to permanent contract and to allowance from the founder as a financial mean of a state-funded institution.

Sociomapping of work teams
Rozehnalová, Eva ; Wagnerová, Irena (referee) ; Bahbouh, Radvan (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis deals at first with the mathematical basis of sociomapping. Several sociomapping types are subsequently defined and the main basic principles for the creation and interpretation of sociomaps are described. Sociomapping is also compared to selected sociodiagnostic and statistical methods. Workteam issues are briefly introduced in the next chapter. The subject and areas of workteam sociomapping application are then defined. The final part addresses several aspects of sociomapping and discusses possibilities of measuring its reliability and validity. The empirical part presents a research on interpretation of sociomaps. Qualitative study shows how sociomaps are interpreted intuitively and which areas of interpretation can be potentially problematic. The quantitative part captures the ability and degree of certainty of sociomap interpretation and determines their dependence on demographic variables. The relationship between the certainty of interpretation and its difficulty is considered as well.

Problems of detection of secondary and backscattered electrons in the higher pressure of ESEM in view of the study of water containing specimens
Neděla, Vilém
This work is focused on the problems of designing, realisation and implementation of the new equipments for environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM) AQUASEM-VEGA. These equipments are needful for this microscope and for working in the conditions of the higher pressure in view of the study of non-conductive and water containing specimens. This work is next focused on the study of influence of additive hydration biological specimens by the special agar base.

Experimentální zkoumání elektromagnetické aktivity kvasinkových buněk na milimetrových vlnách
Jelínek, František ; Pokorný, Jiří ; Šaroch, Jaroslav
The direct detection of oscillations in biological cells may deliver strong evidence for Fröhlich´s theory of coherent excitation in biological systems. Some results of measurement at millimeter waves published in the literature are mentioned. A laboratory equipment for the measurement of mm-waves excitations in yeast cells is described. The measurement system is controlled by computer and measured data are stored in the computer memory for evaluation. Some results of the evaluation are given.

The impact analysis of the technical devices used by the driver on the reaction time
Kubánek, Ondřej ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
This master‘s thesis analyzes the impact of the use of technical equipment for the driver reaction time. There are described the legal requirements for the use of technical devices by the driver in the vehicle. There are analyzed the types of technical devices used by drivers and mainly discussed the issue of drivers' reaction times. They assessed factors affecting reaction time, ways of measuring the reaction time and the type of reaction times. They discussed earlier research from the beginning of the measurement of reaction times to the latest research, dealing with the measurement of reaction times when using a mobile phone. The practical part is devoted to perform road tests on a sample of drivers and evaluate their reaction times during normal driving and during a call. The measured and evaluated data are commented with respect to the benefits of expert activities in the field of transport.

Metabolické odštěpování N- a C-koncových aminokyselin z hmyzího oostatického peptidu H-Tyr-Asp-Pro-Ala-Pro-OH
Tykva, Richard ; Slaninová, Jiřina ; Bennettová, Blanka ; Hlaváček, Jan ; Černý, B. ; Vlasáková, Věra ; Němec, Václav
Using incubation of fresh hemolymph from model insect Neobellieria bullata (Diptera) and the pentapeptide radiolabeled in the N– or C– terminal amino ends, we measured the time course of cleavage of the relevant amino acids by radio-HPLC.

Optoelectronic sensor of polarization state of transmitted light
Bajgar, Aleš ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Tománek, Pavel (advisor)
The living body tissues consist of cells which dimensions are bigger than a wavelength of visible light. Therefore a Mie scattering of transmitted light occurs and different polarization states arise. The changes of polarization state due to the multiple scattering of light in the biological cellular tissues allow measure the aging of biological tissue. The transmitted polarized laser light exhibits multiple scattering on the thin slice of sample.

Measurement of urine extinction in depending on ionizing radiation
RADOVÁ, Štěpánka
Urine Extinction Measurement in Dependence on Ionizing Radiation Dose Radiotherapeutic workplaces use ionizing radiation for treatment of tumorous but also some non-tumorous diseases. Medical staff of these departments is exposed to ionizing radiation on everyday basis and is thus endangered by harmful consequences. On the other hand a patient should be exposed to a neglect volume of ionizing radiation outside the radiated area. The conditions defining the means of protection for medical staff and patients are arranged by the law. So called dosimeters, are used for this purpose by medical staff, and urine might belong among them. This thesis deals with the issue whether urine could serve as a biological dosimeter that might be used either for continuous monitoring or for instantaneous determination of radiation dose. The next goal was to find out at what doses of ionizing radiation changes in urine extinction occur. The results show that urine provides qualitative but irreproducible values. Namely because of varying composition of urine and for presence of substances which, apart from water radiolysis, causing urine extinction changes, represent inhibitors or activators of these chemical reactions. This is why urine cannot serve as a biological dosimeter of radiation.

Analysis of solar cell surface features
Lipr, Tomáš ; Macků, Robert (referee) ; Škarvada, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the study of electrical and optical properties of solar cell samples using the near field optical microscope. Process of the image formation is described. Artefacts which are presented on some of topography images are described, too. There are some timing problems with measuring of the sample local electric response. If the measuring and scanning devices are not in the time synchronization there will be some difficulties with measured data representation and 2D image offline formation. Created electronic for SNOM and measuring devices synchronization is presented.
