Identification opportunities for the selected company

The main aim of this Diploma thesis called "Identification opportunities for the selected company" is to identify the opportunities on market and to provide possible solutions how to use these opportunities. The Diploma thesis is divided into two main parts. First part is a literature overview that should give the reader the basic knowledge and understanding of the topic. Where the information was gained by studying different sources related to the main aim of the thesis. Second part is the analytical part of the thesis. Different analysis has been chosen to support the work. The marketing situation analysis was used and included the analysis of the macroenvironment (the STEP analysis), the microenvironment, market and sales. This analysis was followed by the analysis of part of the external environment (Porter's model of five competitive forces). The last part of the analytical part is focused on the internal analysis. The human resources, finance, sales and products were analysed. The findings from the analytical chapter were used for the final SWOT analysis.

Strategy marketing in a chosen company

The aim of the thesis is to suggest a marketing strategy for a specific company, including the marketing plan in order to deal with possible changes resulting from the current situation. Strategic marketing process, which is based on the strategic management process consists of planning, implementation and control. On the basis of marketing situational analysis SWOT analysis was set up, marketing objectives were defined, strategies were formulated and a marketing plan was suggested. The implementation of a plan is a part of an implementation phase. Finally, the interim results were evaluated and possible changes were proposed, which should lead to the achievement of the planned outputs at the end of the period.

Cultural Centres

This thesis is concentrated on cultural centres built between years 1960 and 1990 in the former socialist Czechoslovakia. Six cultural centres have been chosen and analyzed to conclude the purposes they serve as well as the programs they offer. These chosen cultural centres are run as municipal organisations financed from the town budgets. The six towns where they are located are similar to each other in terms of their history, size and the time when their cultural centres were built. All of these centres share difficulties with the lack of cultural interest of local citizens, bad technical shape of the buildings in question and low budget. The aim of this thesis is to compare the functioning of these six cultural centres and conclude whether being directly funded and influenced by the municipal councils has a positive impact and should serve as a model for cultural centres or should be replaced by a different one. It also focuses on cooperation between the management of cultural centres and municipal officials, cooperation with other local cultural institutions and cultural centres from different towns.

The Corporate Culture at the Company HELUZ

The aim of the Diploma Thesis was to analyze the field of corporate culture at the company HELUZ and suggest changes in the corporate culture. The first part summarizes information taken from the scientific literature focusing on corporate culture, its typology, the impact on company´s strategy and company performance. Practical part describes selected company HELUZ, its data, innovative and personal policy. It focuses on content of corporate culture, its elements standards and values. Further part of the Thesis deals with corporate climate, atmosphere and satisfaction of employers. Based on information previously provided I made recommendations for changes, which should be implemented by management of the company into its strategy and which should encourage strength of the corporate culture. In the last part, there are summaries, answers and suggestions for the aim of my Thesis.

Improving labour productivity: How to determine standard time for performing specific tasks in the selected organization

This bachelor thesis focuses on the standard time needed for specific tasks in the selected organization, as well as on the appropriate methods for its determination. The findings serve as a basis for the formulation of measures which should be taken to improve labour productivity. The methods include the standardization of tasks, time study and computer-based data analysis (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets). The theoretical part of the paper discusses the nature of job production, the methods appropriate for the calculation of standard production time and the ways to ensure efficient work and time management in the given factory. Apart from these, a complete description (history, facility layout, pre-production and production stages, machines and materials) of the selected organization is provided to serve as a background for the case study presented in the practical part. This includes the list of production tasks, production time tables and time standards along with materials necessary to facilitate production. The aim of the thesis is to help the organization improve its labour productivity and provide it with the algorithm which can be used to determine production time for similar orders.

Implementation of enterprise information system in the selected company

This thesis deals with the implementation of enterprise information system in the selected company. The theoretical part provides information from the field of information systems, which are complemented by the analysis of internal and external environment, the strengths and weaknesses, and the method of selection of the information system. In the practical part briefly describes the selected information system and the company, where the information system was implemented. Furthermore, the current information system is analyzed by the HOS 8 method, from which the targets for the implementation of a new information system was set. At the end of the practical part I will compare the system before implementation and the system after implementation with the HOS 8 analysis, which is the main goal of this thesis.

Intelligent Transport Systems in the Czech Republic and their use

Thesis on "Intelligent Transport Systems in the Czech Republic and their use" is focused on the analysis of intelligent transport systems, particularly for road transport in the Czech Republic. The aim of my work is to summarize the information and knowledge of ITS in the Czech Republic to introduce individual systems, their functions and to assess their contribution to road safety. Based on the evaluation of telematics systems used I suggest in the final part of the ITS elements in selected urban sprawl, particularly in the Czech Budejovice.

Strategic management in chosen municipality

This work deals with strategic management in a village called Borkovice a with the options and suggestions to improve current situation. In introductury theoretical part is described problematice of municipality and its management, cooperation of municipality with subjects from public sector, financial budget of municipality, problematic of strategic management with the most used analyses for rating of level of strategic management. At the beggining of application section there is described the current status of strategic management in Borkovice. This part of work is focused on strategic analyses PESTE analysis, SWOT analysis and there are also included two activities contained with the subscription of current status in village survey, guided interview with Borkovice´s major. Third part of application section is focused on characteristics of chosen subjects (municipalities Řepeč and Malšice) and usage of benchmarking to compare situation between Řepeč, Borkovice, Malšice. After that follows point evaluation and definition of stong and weak factors of municipality Borkovice. The last part includes suggestions to change current status and eliminate weaknesses of municipality Borkovice.

Systém hodnocení a odměňování pracovníků ve vybrané organizaci

The aim of the thesis was to analyse the current state of the assessment and remuneration system in the organization, which I have chosen and to suggest possible improvements that would increase the efficiency of the system. To achieve that aim, unstructured interviews and internal resources were used, and this has contributed to a unified view on the subject, based on which it was possible to propose given recommendations.
