Adaptive Client for Twitter Social Network
Guňka, Jiří ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Šperka, Svatopluk (advisor)
The goal of this term project is create user friendly client of Twitter. They may use methods of machine learning as naive bayes classifier to mentions new interests tweets. For visualissation this tweets will be use hyperbolic trees and some others methods.
Multidimensional regression models
Hrubešová, Gabriela ; Bednář, Josef (referee) ; Žák, Libor (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the use of knowledge of multidimensional regression models in practice. The first part describes the theoretical basis for regression analysis. Then further we focus on modeling theory and nonlinear multidimensional models. The next part describes a real problem. This is the width of kerf of titanium alloy using wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM). We apply most of the theoretical knowledge to this problem, and we use regression analysis using Minitab software. We will analyze the data from different perspectives and create several multidimensional regression models. In the last part we summarize the results obtained by the regression analysis.
Productive Machining of Titanium Alloys
Slabý, Ondřej ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on a productive machining of titanium alloys. At the beginning it deals about titanium and its alloys. It describes chip generation mechanism, tool blunting and surface quality. Further it contains modern strategies of efficient titanium alloys machining. Then it analyzes contemporary manufacturing technology of hinge made of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V in Frentech Aerospace s.r.o. company, and at the end finds possibility of savings by inovation of roughing process.
The design of the production process for a dental implant
Pikal, Bohumil ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is an insight into dental implantation. The first part of the thesis presents the introduction of manufacturing processes in medicine, presentation and overview of dental implants, including the description of materials used. The second part introduces a proposal for the production of a particular type of implant according to the conventional method and also the version of the production on CNC machines. The final part brings the technical and economical evaluation of the production.
Mechanical properties of titanium alloys
Prudíková, Alena ; Liškutín, Petr (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis was created in a form of literary search and it summarizes the basic information of Titanium and its alloys. The most significant features, such as its position in Periodic Table of the Elements, allotropic modifications and their crystal lattices, chemical or physical qualities, are mentioned in the first chapters. The attention was also paid to both the mechanical and the technological qualities of titanium as such, including the effect of impurities that may be very significant. General and summarized information about the history of titanium, as well as current directions in the development of its alloys are discussed in chapter 1.3. As a following, the information about production and the methods used during the production are discussed in chapter 2. Distinct part of the thesis depicts the partition of concrete titanium alloys and the heat treatment of them. The TiAl6V4 alloy was described in details, since it is the most widely used, therefore the most often produced titanium alloy.
Biocompatible titanium and cobalt alloys and their aplications
Volná, Kateřina ; Kohout, Jan (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This work is written in the form of literary research and deals with titanium and cobalt alloys and their application in dental medicine. Production of the individual metals, their mechanic, physical as well as chemical characteristics and various alloys which these elements can form are described in the first part. Furthermore, biocompatibility and basic division of biocompatible materials are explicated here. The work also deals with the basic requirements placed upon the materials used in dental medicine. Subsequently, five particular alloys are introduced: Ti-6Al-4V, Nitinol, Oralium, Oralium Ceramic and Ceramill Sintron and their characteristics and usage are described. In conclusion, the individual metals and their alloys are evaluated.
Multiphase Ti-Ni layer on titanium substrate by local alloying
Husťák, Miroslav ; Havlík, Petr (referee) ; Jan, Vít (advisor)
The theory section of this thesis is to describe properties and utilisation of titanium and titanium alloys as well as to deal with various methods of surface treatment and means of alloying a titanium surface layer with nickel. The experimental chapter of this thesis is to describe the creation of a hard surface layer on titanium substrate. In order to achieve a hard surface layer, a layer of nickel was electrodeposited on substrate made of commercially pure ASTM Grade 2 titanium which was subsequently melted with the help of an electron beam. A layer with changed chemical composition and microstructure was created by applying the aforementioned method on the titanium surface. In order to achieve a homogeneous microstructure in the surface layer, several samples with the surface layer were prepared by utilising different parameters of the electron beam. The samples were later tested for their microstructural homogeneity, chemical composition, and hardness.
Technology of manufacturing of titan exhaust
Hrubý, Patrik ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The Diploma Thesis deals with the technology of manufacturing the titan exhaust for a two-stroke engine. It includes a description of the manufacturing procedure. It analyzes in detail the forming issue of sheet-metal parts in order to eliminate the spring-back effect, and it finds possible solutions to this problem.
Cutting operation of stainless steels and titanium superalloys
Tropp, Pavel ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on Superalloys materials, namely stainless steel and titanium alloys, in terms of cutting. Processing of these materials is different from conventional processing steels by great complexity and cost, but in today's industry more topic of the day. This work includes analysis of materials and processing methods in theory and practice.
Masonry House
Anton, David ; Šuhajdová, Eva (referee) ; Lavický, Miloš (advisor)
This is a building modification and extension of the existing recreational object, which lies on the no. 3617/1 and 3617/2, at the edge of the c. Střekov, Ústí nad Labem. The construction and annexes respect the height profile of the surrounding area. The existing recreational object is built as a single-storey non-basement with a saddle roof, the new annex is designed as a single-storey non-cellar with a flat, extensive roof respecting the height of the existing objet. The whole building is designed as one-generation for max 5 members family, where the reconstructed part will create a living room with kitchen and dining room, toilet and bathroom. In the right wing there will be two children's rooms and in the left wing a bedroom with a work area. A large terrace with access from the living room as well as from both wings is provided for relaxation. The construction system is designed as brick from the Porotherm system with Cemex ELEGOHOUSE monolithic ceilings with lost formwork. The existing brick building is built of brick-burning solid and wooden roofing, the new roof will be titanium sheet metal.
