Inovating methods for color fidelity index evaluation of LED.
Novák, Filip ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Motyčka, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is aimed to compare different methodologies of calculating color rendering indicators, because for modern light sources based on LED the traditional color rendering index Ra might be insufficient. The first part of this paper is based on explaining the basics, such as different methods of producing visible light, photometric quantities, or various CIE color spaces. The second and main part revolves around description of spectroradiometers, and calculation procedures for calculating color rendering indicators according to CIE 013.3-1995, CQS, IES TM-30-15, and CIE 224:2017. In the next chapter the mentioned indexes are then calculated for a given sample of light sources, and the results are subsequently evaluated.
Light sources and their efficiency
BAČÁKOVÁ, Martina
This bachelor thesis deals with light sources and their efficiency. The first part of the thesis discusses the development of bulbs and represents the major milestones of lighting, including public lighting. It also deals with the principle and the use of light sources and their classification by species, type, manufacturer and price as well. The analytic part consists of the comparative analysis of different types of light sources according to their luminous efficacy and their cost. As part of this, the analysis and radiation patterns of all tested bulbs is provided. The analysis of the luminosity of one bulb for lighting several hundred hours is the last part of this section. The thesis results are summarized and commented in the conclusion.
Design and construction of an interactive light sources panel
Žák, Martin ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with design and construction of the interactive light sources board and measurement of various parameters of those light sources. Using the given requirements, a solution is worked out (construction materials, behaviour, design, wiring etc. are given). Based on this, the interactive board was also constructed and put into operation. The thesis is also focused on the given light sources themselves (incandescent light bulbs, halogen lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, fluorescent tubes and LED lamps) and their measurement results are presented.
Measurement of Operational Parameters of Light Sources
Motyčka, Martin ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This semestral thesis is focused on description of operating parameters of light sources and their measurements. There are descripted light-technical, electrical and other parameters of light sources and methods of their measurements and evaluations. In tables there are ranges of fotometric quantities for most types of light sources. This thesis is also focused on functional explanation of photometric measuring instruments.
Controlled lighting and shading in smart house
Novák, Michael ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis is focused on controlling lighting and shading in a smart house. Lighting control covers switching and dimming mechanisms. This thesis presents dimming options for different types of light sources. Following this is an overview of shading devices and system wiring, often called smart wiring. Specifically, the thesis focuses on the Foxtrot system from Teco a.s.. This work describes the sensors and actuators used for switching, dimming and shading control devices. New library of functional blocks for lighting and shading control for Foxtrot system was created, for they were not included in any standard library. All functional blocks that have use in the control of lighting or shading - including standard ones - are described in this work.
Lighting and lighting systems for stand-alone applications
Čejka, Lukáš ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of lighting systems for stand-alone applications. These systems are independent of the electrical connection and they are powered by batteries. Batteries are charged by independent sources. The work is more focused on an autonomous lighting system that uses a solar panel. It mentions the main components of the system. Furthermore, in this work, we can find types of stand-alone lighting applications, their possibilities, problems, advantages and disadvantages, economic balance and also outline other possible solutions.
The effect of the blue light on the human body
Dvořák, Petr ; Krbal, Michal (referee) ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis explains the term „blue light“. It deals with the sources of blue light and the effects of this type of electromagnetic radiance on human body. The focus is concentrate especially on problems, which are evocated of blue light. The biggest danger is the desynchronization of circadian rhythm and photochemical damage of retina – photoretinitis („blue light hazard“). The basic principles of biological processes and the visual system are described here. These processes are controlled by properties of incident light onto the retina of eye. The basic information about artificial sources of blue light commonly used in households and in industry are mentioned in the second half of work. These light sources were measured and elaborated. The electromagnetic spectrums of sources are portrayed and there is a comparison of sources due circadian effect too.
Phototherapy
Joklík, Vojtěch ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes relationship between human body and light. It is focused on perception of light with human eye, skin and their reaction to incident light and its intensity. Then it contains short description of Icterus Neonatorum (yellow-gum), Constitutional Dermatitis, Lepriasis and their treatment. It is followed by description of various sources of light, their use in medicine and reaction of body to them. This work includes measurements and evaluation of five sources of light.
Realistic Rendering of a Building with Varying Lighting Conditions
Navrátil, Jan ; Seeman, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This paper is focused on realistic rendering of interior environments with varying lighting conditions. It proposes methods of setting properties of light sources to achieve a specific scene appearence. It mainly works with light comming from a sky and sun to the scene and describes this light in relation to weather conditions, time of day and overcast factor. The goal is creating easily configurable system in which a single parameter change leads to significant change of lighting conditions. All these changes should be presented in a short video.
A Virtual Instrument for Measurement of Flicker
Cabala, Ľuboš ; Bok, Jaromír (referee) ; Šlezingr, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the voltage fluctuation, its causes, resourses and affections on light sources. Further the posibbilities of the voltage fluctuations limitation are mentioned. This thesis also contains the decriptions of construction of UIE/EIC flickermeter on which bases the virtual flickermeter is programmed in the LabVIEW.
