Feminine Spirituality by Miranda Gray Focusing on the Worldwild Womb Blessing as a Spiritual Practice New Age
Grunclová, Karolína ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kostićová, Zuzana (referee)
This diploma thesis processes the results of qualitative research, participant observation, which I carried out during 2022 and from the beginning of 2023 from the online seminars of the Womb Blessing spirituality and the meditations associated with it. The choice of the topic was motivated by my previous interest in the phenomenon of female spirituality and forming contemporary women's spiritualities in the Czech Republic - because these are currently gaining strength, diverse manifestations. I wanted to find a form of female spirituality in which I could find a pure female core and manifestations. I chose a women's open group formed around the person of Miranda Gray and her cyclical spirituality. I wanted to discover the form of female spirituality in the Czech Republic, which could be classified under the New Age by Wounter Hanegraaff. In the first part of the work, I deal with the definition of the conceptual apparatus, in the second part I deal with the general characteristics of contemporary eclectic spirituality, generally referred to as the New Age movement. In the third part, I turn to my own qualitative research. Further, in the fourth part, I compare Gray's spirituality with the concept of the New Age according to Hanegraaff. I come to the conclusion that the worldwide blessing of the...

Merit of studying the problem (why?) This study could be revelant for the field of subcultural studies, as well as spirituality studies, as it investigates spirituality in a non-spiritual and ubiquitous subculture. Devoted Soldier of Eclecticism
Žufníček, Jan Adam ; Delong, Marek (referee) ; Vlková, Veronika (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis Devoted soldier of eclecticism is a series of paintings and objects. The main theme of exhibition which should be based on these artifacts is a polemic about meaning of metamodernism in contemporary art. Conceptual approach to artistic reference is essential for all pieces. I am often depicting mundane objects (boots, pigeons, air baloons) enriched by philosophical or spiritual meanings. To create a tension between simple and metaphysical, I am using simple compositions and naive painting techniques. There is usually some concrete situation or polemic happening in my paintings. If paintings would be philosophical concepts, objects would represent how human beings (anthropomorphised swords) approach these often complicated phenomena.

I went for a walk…
Drbalová, Eva ; Štěpánová, Vanda (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The ancient idea of feeling something beyond us is unquenchable. However, it takes on different forms that are related to the time. In a hectic fast-moving world interwoven with the traffic of means of transport, modern technologies and their constant flow, we are looking for a quiet refuge where time slows down. A place that accepts us as we are. That fulfills our spiritual needs. The diploma thesis responds to this current situation and presents a conceptual vision for the use of an abandoned monastery complex in the center of Brno for a modern spiritual experience. It thus follows on from a pre-diploma project that dealt with contemporary manifestations of spirituality and the spaces associated with it. The proposal is based on the current state of the monastery, scarred by history, and creates a space for meetings. With others, or with some "One". It is based on old certainties such as the rising and setting of the Sun, the alternation of day and night, the symbol of the circle.
