Metallic materials used for dental prostheses

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the use of metallic prosthesis and implants in dental medicine. The main point is to elaborate the summary of metallic materials and their mutual comparision in the terms of properties and individual application. For the clearly understand, there has to be defined a biocompatibility which along with mechanical properties serves for categorizing materials capable of application in the form of dental prosthesis. At the end is discussed about future of metallic materials in dental medicine.

Partial aims to demonstrate the possibilities of prosthetic devices in cycling options handicapped cyclists. Methods: This study is developed using a systematic research of adequate literature and electronic resources. Comprehensive information is presented in this study. Results: This study brought a rich source of information in the field of prosthetics legs, the principles of their production and subsequent use in cycling. I will focus on the differences between human and canine anatomy, further on indications for prosthetics, orthotics or wheelchairs and specifics of adaptive devices in the field of orthotics and prosthetics used in veterinary care. Interdisciplinary metrology in the field prosthetist-orthotist

Title: Interdisciplinary metrology in the field prosthetist - orthotist Objectives: The main objective of this work is to give a comprehensive overview of the available and used methods of measurement tools used within the field orthotist - prosthetist with regard to interdisciplinary cooperation mostly with doctors and physiotherapists. Method: The work was developed using the method of qualitative data collection of research articles, literature and oral information obtained from experts in the field, which was subsequently traced in written form, so everything was underpinned by relevant literature. Result: In the field orthotist - prosthetist there is a large and diverse range of measurements with various devices on which it is produced by an orthotic, prosthetic or calceotic device. Measurements must be performed as accurately as possible, always with respect to the used product and to a patient who will use the product. What is important is cooperation with doctors when taking radiographs especially when making the torso braces or corrective braces for limbs. I used the method of data collecting mainly from medical resources such as scientific literature, magazines and other publications on the topic of postoperative care for patients with leg amputations. Results: The purpose of this work is the literature research that can be used as a source of information in the field of amputation surgery and postoperative care not only for diabetic patients. Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of unilateral above-knee amputation. Summary: My bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of lower limb amputation. The theoretical part includes knowledge from the science information sources focused on the subject of amputation, prosthetics and to specific rehabilitation procedures. Attention is also paid to the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. The practical part focuses on the case study of a patient with the diagnosis of unilateral above-knee amputation. It describes input and output kinesiological analysis, rehabilitation plan, course of the therapies and the final evaluation of the effect of the therapies. The case study was written during my four-week practice in the rehabilitation clinic of Malvazinky in Prague. Keywords: above-knee amputation, prosthetics, case study, rehabilitation
