Museum

Thesis contains variants of design and check of the steel structure of museum situated in Brno. The disposition of the building is three storey structure with a story height of 4meters. The building has a rectangular cross looking shape with dimensions 120x80meters. The height of the structure is 21m . Load bearing beams are 6m apart. The main load bearing structure is made of steel beams, truss beams, columns and stiffeners. Global stiffness is provided by concrete cores, composite slabs and stiffeners beams. The roof is designed as a green variant. The facade is made of glass and Corten sheets. Ceilings is designed as steel-concrete composite deck. The main construction material is Steel S235 and Steel S355. The concrete parts are designed from Concrete C25/30.
Bus station roofing

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel structure of the bus station roofing. The span of the structure in the transverse direction is 35 m, the length is 40 m. The maximum height of the roof is 16,8 m. The structure consists of trusses in the shape of a wave supported by solid columns. The distance between the main frames is 5 m. Due to the asymmetrical shape of the truss, the columns of the main frames have different heights - 14 m and 5 m. The construction is designed for the Brno area.
Tennis Hall in Bystřice pod Hostýnem

The bachelor thesis is focused on a proposal and a review of load-carrying steel structure of the tennis hall for 3 tennis courts. The construction is located in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The hall contains 11 main frames spaced by 5.8 m. It is a building of a rectangular plan with a groud plan dimensions of 38.0 x 58.0 m. The main support system includes cylindrical lattice truss, purlins, longitudinal and transverse bracing which secure the spatial rigidity of the construction. For analysis was used the programme Scia Engineer.
Apartment building Skřivánek

This bachelor’s thesis processes project documentation for cunstruction works of one new apartment building in Ústí nad Labem. It is a four storey non-basement building including 10 apartments, 2 of them are intended for diasbled people. Apartments on the ground floor have barrier-free tercce and each apartment on the higher floors has a spacious balcony. Every apartment has own storage space in common areas. Masonry is designed from ceramic masonry prefabric blocks, external masonry is filled with mineral wool providing thermal insulation. The ceiling system is made from reinforced concrete slabs, roof is sloping hipped made of wooden lattice trusses.
The Three Aisled Storage Building

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is designing free-aisled manufacturing hall situated in Frýdek-Místek. In the proposition is solved variantion with central nave wide 12 m conncted to outer naves wide 9,0 m. Total lenght is 120 m. Support system of the central and outer naves is formed by lattice cross-links, which are composed rolling section saved on fixed columns. The calculation was done through the use of SCIA Engineer 2008 program andy by myself alone.
Detached house

The Bachelor thesis topic is a project of a low-energy detached house. The house is designed as two storey basementless wooden building with a pitched roof. The 4 bedrooms layout fulfills the design for 3-5 family members. The object includes a wooden warehouse for garden furniture and other tools. The warehouse which is connected by an one-car garage to the detached house. The architectural expression is to be a two matters interpenetration of a standard plaster and a stone facing. The two materials create an L-shape. The entrance which is shaded by the garage shelter is situated in the western part of the house. After the vestibule there is a living room connected with a kitchen. If turned right there is a technical room and WC. From the South-East oriented living room there is a contact with a garden which may be entered by a terrace via a french window. The second storey is reachable via a cranked flight of stairs. The second story layout is simply designed with a focus on an utility while respecting the cardinal directions. There are two children rooms which will be split by a soft wall in the future. The parent bedroom includes its own dressing room and bathroom. There is a bedroom, single WC and dressing room for the children. All of the bedrooms ar enterable form the hall and have southern-west view. The structure is to be from timber bearing boards that are also noise and heat insulants. The house shell is also covered by heat insulations. The structure is designed as a timber beam structure. The roof is supported by nailed timber trusses while respecting an over-rafter heat insulation. The warehouse and the garage shelter have their own not-to-be-walked flat roof.
Newly-Built Detached House with Accommodation Facility

This bachelor thesis deals with a desing of the wooden building of family house in cadastral territory of Dambořice, district of Hodonín. Objects are standing alone in the emerging area. The family house is designed for a four member family, the object with an accomodation capacity is designed for up to eleven people. It is one-storey family house, partly with a basement. There is one stand alone object behind the familly house. The object has accomodation capacity of two above ground floors and no basement. Both objects have a walnut roof of truss trusses. These object also have brick structures with a contact thermal insulation system. The object with an accomodation capacity is designed for recreation. Both object are put into medium sloping terrain.
Multi-purpose building

The project deals with design of a multifunctional house. The object is situated in the city called Hořice in Hradec Králové region. Terrain of the land is flat. The building consists of a basement and four floors and it has a rectangular plan. There are four shops and ten dwelling units in the house. Layout of the units is three rooms plus one room. Above one part of thrid floor is a flat roof which is made of concrete tiles and vegetation. It serves for relaxing.
Energy efficient house

This bachelor thesis deals with project documentation for new-built energy-efficient family house situated in Moravské Budějovice cadastral. The house is designed as rectangle two-storey and partially basement building with detached garage. Both parts – residential part and garage – are joined by shelter in shape of „L“. The residential part of the house is roofed by mono-pitched roof and the adjacent garage is roofed by flat roof. The ground floor vertical constructions are designed by using ceramic masonry units; the basement circumferential masonry is designed by using concrete masonry units. Heating of the object is provided by contact thermal insulation system.
Reconstruction of the Building for Storage

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to design the extension of the steel structure of the storage hall. The task is to double the platform area from 18 x 18 m up to 36x18 m with the height of 7,5 m. It is required to use as much of existing profiles as possible. The structure is located in Znojmo. The original roof structure is made of truss girders with the segmently curved lower girdle. The span of main frame is 18 m and the axial distance of main frames is 6 m. All girders are pinned. In extended structure is used the plate girder. Spatial rigidity of the structure is made by wall and roof bracing. The static calculation of main load-bearing elements including joints and specific details was made for the structure. The technical report and drawings were specified by the supervisor. For design of the structure were used valid standards ČSN EN.
