Airconditioning in the clean space

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the designing of air conditioning system for clean spaces of operating rooms and spaces which are necessary for assuring of operation these operating rooms. The system is proposed to meet hygienic, operational and functional requirements for indoor microclimate of clean spaces. The task of this system is the transport of fresh air to interior, the covering of the heat looses during the winter and the covering of heat gains in summer. The equipment is also designed for regulation of air humidity in the interior. The theoretical part devotes to the issue of air conditioning of clean spaces generally, calculating and project´s parts devote of the concrete concept of two air conditioning equipments for the serving of clean spaces in the specified building. The result of this work is the detailed design work of these equipments.

Brno City Hospital

The subject of the thesis is the design of a new city hospital in Brno, located in the north of the city, in the territory of the Technology Park. Due to the current epidemiological situation, which showed us the importance of quality medical care and the need to modernize both city hospitals in Brno, the idea arose to build a completely new city hospital. The diploma thesis was based on a pre-diploma project solved within the subject NGA056 Specialized studio from 2021, whose task was to design an urban concept of a new hospital complex. The area is defined by the development area according to the zoning plan, located north of the existing turntable of tram no. 12. The main access road is Purkyňova Street from the west. In the southern tip of the solved locality, the expansion of the existing depot in Medlánky is expected. The diploma thesis deals with the architectural study of the new city hospital. The solved area is unique in its inclination, to which the solution of the construction also responds. The hospital is divided into several outcrops, where its organic shape responds to the otherwise disparate local development of technology companies and research centers. The hospital offers a bed capacity of 550 beds. Parking spaces reach the number of 600 spaces. Parking is provided in the hospital building on its underground floors. This largely solves the problem of insufficient parking capacity in the given locality. The architectural study deals with the design of large hospital operations such as emergency rooms, ambulances, wards, ICUs or operating rooms. The aim of the design was to create a quality hospital complex, pleasant for staff and patients. The proposal thus responds to studies dealing with the beneficial effect of the presence of greenery on the healing process of patients. The aim was to provide this view to everyone without distinction.

Patient data management in hospital information system Clinicom

Hospital information systems to store patient data and to share them. Have several advantages. Doctors are immediately accessible to history, which helps to quickly diagnose, prevent unnecessary wastage of drugs and duplicate tests. The goal of this work was to develop remote access to hospital information system CLINICOM via the Internet. The data in the information system managed by the database system Caché. From this database information was obtained using SQL queries. For the presentation of data on the Internet was designed and implemented user interface in the PHP programming language, which enables remote database management system CLINICOM.

Airconditioning in hospital

This bachelor thesis is focused on a proposal of air conditioning for clean spaces and their hinterlands, as well as for the hinterlands of laboratories, operating rooms, waiting rooms and X-rays. The devices are designed according to hygienic, operational and functional requirements of microclimates of buildings. The theoretical part deals with the issue of heat recovery systems. The calculation and the proposal part consist of three air conditioning devices for hot air heating and air conditioning of clean spaces and warm air ventilation of hinterlands of operating rooms, waiting rooms, X-rays, etc. The result of the thesis is detailed design of these devices.

Brno City Hospital

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a modern and functional building of a new city hospital for the city of Brno with a capacity of 550 beds and 1500 employees. The land is limited from the northern part by a very fretted street Černovická, on the eastern side it is bordered by the river Svitava. On the southern side of the territory, it borders the existing railway line, the removal of which is expected in the future. I am counting on a possible expansion of the plot and I also have an alternative proposal for the case of expanding the hospital's capacity, see construction site situation drawing. The diploma thesis deals with the architectural study of hospital and the immediate vicinity of the building. The main idea was to use all the advantages of the area and especially the proximity of the river Svitava - the concept of "Hospital on the river". Due to the shape of the land and the character of the surrounding buildings, i choose the pavilion type of creating hospital. The total mass is divided into 4 basic blocks according to the purpose. Northern block A serves primarily as a rehabilitation wing. East wing B serves as an administrative and commercial part. Block C - maternity hospital with adjoining gynecological department and inpatient departments. And the last southern block D serves for emergencies with emergency, intervention and operating theaters and the ICU and ARO departments. In addition to the logical division, this solution also contains a philosophical idea. According to Hippocrates, the father of medicine, the human body contains four basic body juices that determine a person's temperament. This idea is closely linked to the idea of the four elements that architecture focuses on. Each of the four elements has precisely defined cannons - color, world side and human temperament. This diploma project is a design for a Cancer Prevention Center and an extension of the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Masaryk Institute of Oncology in Brno. There are no adequate spatial reserves in the existing hospital campus, or inside its buildings. New technology and modernisation require increased capacity of the Masaryk Institute of Oncology and improvement of the area by new development offering services like cancer prevention or proton therapy facilities.
