FX Management in multinational corporations

The subject of the diploma thesis is Foreign Exchange Management. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the differences of FX management in multinational corporations based on the case study. The theoretical part focuses on the possibilities of FX exposure management. In the case study the process of FX management in particular multinational company is analysed.
Multinational companies and their operations in developing countries

This thesis deals with multinational companies and their operations in developing countries. The first part describes characteristics and general functioning of multinational companies, their origin, development and role in the global economy. The second section introduces economic and social structure of developing countries and analyzes the positive and negative impacts of multinational companies on economic, social and political development, culture and environment of host developing counties. The subject of the third chapter is description of two particular examples of these companies in developing countries -- Royal Dutch/Shell in Nigeria and Nike in Southeast Asia. The fourth chapter presents the possibilities of regulation of multinational corporations.
American companies in today´s world economy

The aim of this thesis is to identify the position of US companies in the world economy. The first chapter describes the origin and the history of the companies, the current trends of foreign direct investment and an analysis of a number of employees and US companies. The second part contains an overview of US company ExxonMobil and shows its position based on specific factors(foreign direct investment, employment within the company, the outcome of its strategic divisions, dedication to safety and corporate social responsibility. The factors described above are analysed based on the available statistical data.
Strategy formulation for a national branch of selected multinational IS/ICT company

The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Strategy formulation for a national branch of select-ed multinational IS/ICT company". Its goal is an evaluation of the business environment of the chosen branch of the multinational enterprise AB&C, examination of the subsidiary's situation and formulation of a proper strategy for the branch based on its capabilities. The foundations for this analysis were PEST analysis, Porter five forces and value-chain analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of this thesis is the strategy a branch can implement to improve its current business situation and strengthen its competitive ad-vantage.

This bachelor thesis is focused on activities of multinational company Shell in Nigeria. The first part deals with the characteristics of multinational companies, their activities in development countries, criticism of multinational companies and the concept of social responsibility. It also describes the socio-economic situation in Nigeria and activities of Shell company. The second part focuses on the description of the situation in the Niger delta, especially the positive and negative impacts of the local activities of Shell company.

The aim of this thesis is about issue of detail chain in South Bohemia. It examines their history, development, contemporary situation and next their influence on retail trade in region. Here we find some interesting observation of sector of retail trade sale in South Bohemia. The essay show how it is difficult to be retail businessman and keep own part on local trade. In practical part this fact proves marketing research which was dedicated to this problem.
