Image segmentation based on relief
Gros, Jan ; Špiřík, Jan (referee) ; Křupka, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this labor is to introduce the technique of image segmentation by flooding relief of landscape (watershed method). There are described some methods of image segmentation and explained the basic operations of the images, from which the morphological operations are used for watershed segmentation. Part of this labor is a short passage that deals with the use of some image filters for image preprocessing. The result of previous knowledge is presentation of segmentation algorithm designed by Lee Vincent and Pierre Soille. The next section describes the algorithm implementation in Java, contents and function of each class module and implementation using RapidMiner. The last section presents the results of the segmentation with created module using the test images without and with the use of some selected filters to reduce oversegmentation and improve the resulting segmentation.
Analysis of Parking Availability
Stránský, Václav ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with an analysis of parking availability. The task is to determine the occupancy of predefined parking places in the sequence of color images acquired by a fixed camera. The thesis describes the design, implementation, and testing of three utilized methods for car detection, i.e. background modelling, edge detection, and histogram comparison. These methods are combined in order to obtain a more robust and accurate solution. The proposed system has been successfully tested on several real scenarios.
Game with Body Movement Control
Crhák, Jaroslav ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The work is dedicated to the processing of the human figures captured by the camera and its use for controlling computer games. There are given typical procedures for segmentation of images on the basis of movement and finding signs relating to binary image. Other part describes design of the application using informations about image.
Detection of Objects on Belt Conveyer
Láník, Aleš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
In this master thesis, object's detection in image and tracking these objects in temporal area will be presented. First, theoretical background of the image's preprocessing, image filtration, the foreground extraction, and many others various image's features will be described. Next, design and implementation of detector will be processed. This part of my master thesis containes mainly information about detection of objects on belt conveyer Finally, results, conclusion and many supplementary data such as a photography camera's location will be shown.
Digital image analysis of mitotic chromosomes
Danielová, Tereza ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Škutková, Helena (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on digital image analysis of mitotic chromosomes. It deals with the design of the processing of digital images - from image preprocessing to clasification of each chromosomes, including testing on a set of images. This work introduces used cytogenetic methods, that are used to visualize chromosomes. In its practical part describes morphology operations and clasification procedure. Classification of the chomosomes was divided into 5 groups (A-G). All algorithms were created in the MATLAB program.
Analysis of cytology images
Pavlík, Jan ; Blaha, Milan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on automating the process of differential leukocyte count in peripherial blood using image processing. It deals with the design of the processing of digital images - from scanning and image preprocessing, segmentation nucleus and cytoplasm, feature selection and classifier, including testing on a set of images that were scanned in the context of this work. This work introduces used segmentation methods and classification procedures which separate nucleus and the cytoplasm of leukocytes. A statistical analysis is performed on the basis of these structures. Following adequate statistical parameters, a set of features has been chosen. This data then go through a classification process realized by three artificial neural networks. Overall were classified 5 types of leukocytes: neutropfiles, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophiles and basophiles. The sensitivity and specificity of the classification made for 4 out of 5 leukocyte types (neutropfiles, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophiles) is higher than 90 %. Sensitivity of classiffication basophiles was evaluated at 75 % and specificity at 67 %. The total ability of classification has been tested on 111 leukocytes and was approximately 91% successful. All algorithms were created in the MATLAB program.
Traffic lanes and interruptions detection
Dojava, Marian ; Červinka, Luděk (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with depiction aplication of camera like sensitive element for assisting system of car. It was proposed, how find a road, a lane and a obstacle on roadways. Only one camera was aplication for it. Solution is realized by methods, that are based on color and gradient of image. It applies simple methods and methods with mathematical model. Result is sum of method and its test and comparing. Realization of my program is present at resume of this thesis.
Eye-blink detection
Jeništa, Petr ; Atassi, Hicham (referee) ; Vlach, Jan (advisor)
The merits of my Bachelor's Thesis is description of the theoretical principles of methods which are used for eye-blink detection. This work discribes methods for location of human face in a frame with the comlex background. The next principes of the work are different manners how we can find eyes in the frame and its sequential tracking. The last part is the eye analysis and the evaluation whether blinking went ahead or not. There are describes different intermedia which is used for processing of the numerical frame. At the close of the work is described the practical realization of some mentioned methods, thus the realization of algorithm which detects blinking eyes pair.
