This thesis focuses on the implementation of process management in the emerging business. Explains what the processes are, compares the functional and process management. It analyzes the main reasons and benefits of implementing process management in the company. Specifies the different areas where it is possible to implement process management, and compares the practicality of this implementation with the theoretical knowledge. The last section describes processes and models created by some of these processes in an company, engaged in retail sales at a distance.

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the production process in a selected company and proposes measures to ensure the smooth operation of the chosen process. The theoretical part presents principles and methods that are used to analyze the current state of processes and subsequent optimization. The analytical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state of the production process and the waste that occurs. The practical part is focused on proposing the optimization of machine inspection and readiness to prevent waste of machine downtime due to human factors.

Modelling of Selected Processes in Project Management by Using the BIC Tool

The bachelor thesis deals with a proposal that has the task of streamlining the display of business processes and better explaining the way of managing a portfolio of projects in a given company. Primary task is to introduce and implement solutions in the form of process models that depict project management in the information technology portfolio, but also a description of the course of this implementation at Garrett Advancing Motion. At the beginning of the thesis, the theoretical foundations of project management and process modeling are described. Based on this theory, the company is then analyzed, the solution itself is designed with implementation and overall evaluation.

The solution is focused on processes related with accommodation assured by hotel reception, which lead to elimination of routine activities, the elimination of data duplication and their digitalization. The thesis is divided into three parts, which are devoted to theoretical delimination, analysis and process improvement.

The thesis maps, analyzes and describes in detail the process of selling the product. Subsequent proposal suggests process improvement, including process documentation.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of residential parking. The analytical part describes the implementation process of this form of parking regulation. This process is illustrated with process diagrams created in ARIS Express software. The proposing part describes various solution options for a complicated situation concerning housing estate yards in areas with established residential parking.

To reach this purpose, the SWOT analysis of the department and modeling of current state of selected processes are carried out, and subsequently appropriately chosen process analyses are applied. Source information were gained mainly by observing of process flow and communication with employees and management of the company.
