Comparison of the Organisation of Local Administration in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Montenegro The thesis Comparison of the organisation of local administration in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Montenegro deals with the basic principles of the organisation of local administration in the above mentioned states both in the form of valid legislation and its practical implementation. A large space is devoted to the constitutional foundations defining the scope of powers of local self-governments and the degree of their decision making autonomy and to two basic laws which determine essential institutes and aspects of the local self-governments administrative activity - the Czech Law on Municipalities and the Montenegrin Law on Local Self-Government. Major part of the thesis is descriptive and it is analysing and comparing the valid legislation. This part is followed by the evaluation of the practical implementation of the legislation and by the reflection of real organisation and functioning of local administration in both countries. The Development of Local Government in the Statutory City of Olomouc.

This master´s thesis deals with issues of  a local government. The research will focus on the city Olomouc. The goal will be to characterize main socioeconomic indicators of the city and evaluate their impact on the development and functioning of the local government. The next step will be identify the actors of the political process in the village and analyze their relationships and define the nature of the decision-making process of local governments on the basis of a comparison of the results of municipal elections. Research approach, that tries to take into account differences in the content and decision-making of local authorities in cities with different Population sizes. The work is proposed  as a case study. Two basic engineering approaches such as study of documents and interviews will be used for collecting of data.Other standard methodological procedures, especially comparison will be used in this work too
Political aspects of management and the development of the chosen municipality (case study of Vinařice u Loun)

Author has chosen "Political Aspects of the Management and Development of Selected Municipalities (Case Study of Vinařice u Loun)" topic.The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains and describes concepts related to communal politics matter. For example, government municipalities, municipal authorities, community development, municipal management, municipal budget, municipal elections, electoral law etc. The practical part describes characteristic of Vinařice u Loun village from demographic and socio-economic perspective - according to the current municipal budget draft, compared to the budget structure with another, equally large municipalities. Furthermore, there has been described a detailed description of local interest and local government, and the last municipal election to municipal council (2014). The main objective is to define the nature of the decision-making process of local government and compare the management of the village from 2000 to the present (2016). The Masters thesis characterises a case study (as already mentioned in the title of work). For data collection, analysis of documents, interviews and comparison of data were used.

This master thesis deals with the development issues of local authorities in Žíšov (South Bohemian region). The thesis is divided into 2 part - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the characterization of municipal administrative bodies, municipal electoral process and local partisanship. This part also deals with the characterization of typology of local partisanship systems according to Petra Jüptner and Václav Bubeníček, citizen participation of political life and splitting within communities. The practical part of this thesis describes the basic demographic characterization of Žíšov and its history at first. Another researched part describes the problems of socioeconomic indicators of the village (Žíšov). The key part is the analysis of election period during 1994 - 2014 with detailed look into each year. The conclusion of this thesis is the nature of local politics.

The diploma thesis deals with local government municipal politics in the city of Písek. The work is focused on the development of local government in the period after 1989 to the present. The subject of the work is an analysis of the local political system as well as its activities in the field of municipal development. The work is divided into theoretical practical. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts that are related to local government and communities alone, such as municipal government, municipal elections controversy. The practical part then characterizes Sand historical, demographic socio-economic perspective. It also focuses on communal politics in this city, dealing with local political entities running the council controversies that arise here. The practical part includes analysis also municipal elections between 1994 and 2014 and describes the development of local government after the last elections in 2014.

The goal is to characterize the local government, local organizations and their influence on public life in the village. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part defines the basic structure of public administration and lawful functioning of the local government. The practical part describes the basic characteristics of the village. Attention is paid to the historical, cultural, demographic and sociological characteristics of the village. Municipal elections and financial characteristics of the village are also being addressed. Last but not least it also deals with the social and political life in the village, in which the local associations play a big role.

The thesis deals with the development of local government in the village of Horni Cerekev. The work is conceived as a case study. Thematic framework for the work starts in 1990 and continues to the present. The work depicts Individual municipal elections as an element shaping the local political environment and summarizes the development of the political scene in relation to local government. The introductory part describes the basic theoretical background of the local rural area of the municipality. The work is based on political science theory. The work also defines the context and specificity of municipal elections, the basic characteristics of the typology of the political scene municipalities, mayor types including municipal systems. The theoretical part sets the basis for the practical part. Describing the socio-economic indicators of the village continues in the practical part of the work focusingon on semi-structured interviews to evaluate the local political scene, principles of functioning of local party system and identification of political participants.
The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Kunvald

This thesis deals with the development of the local government in the municipality of Kunvald since 1989. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to local government, including the urban area itself its citizens, the neighbourhood authorities, communal electoral system of Czech and the electoral right. The practical part is focused on characteristics of the community, description of its history, and the definition of the local political parties. Futhermore, it is also targeted to the local organizations and evaluates of the socio-economic indicators of the village during its participation in public life and local government. It is also proceed further analysis of the progression and outcome of the local elections of municipality named Kunvald from 1989 to 2014. The analysis describes all individual candidates, political parties, electoral participation, results and arising representatives, including the characteristics of their subsequent decision-making process who's municipal political scene will be implemented in the following election period in the organs of the municipality. In addition, the practical also describes the comparison of the results from the municipal, district, regional and national level since 1989 to 2014. Last but not least, not only it also contains analyses of active and passive usage of the voting rights, but it also includes a description of continuity and discontinuity of individual members of the municipal council called Kunvald.
Political aspects of management and the development of the chosen municipality (case study of Tmaň)

This thesis deals with the influence of local administration on development of the municipality Tmaň, and with political aspects of the municipal management. The first part of this thesis defines the theoretical definition issues such as administration, municipality, municipal financing and local administration. The second part of this thesis is focused on particular aims of this thesis achieved, mainly aims like mapping of the local administration after 1989, the definition socio-economic indicators of the municipality Tmaň and the composition of the local government. The next part of the thesis includes the analysis of the decision process of the local government, which was monitored in 2015 by the method of observation. The thesis includes interest groups, local business entities and their cooperation and relationship with local administration. The substantial part of the thesis includes the clarification of the results of the municipal elections in the municipality Tmaň from 1990 to the last election in 2014 and simultaneously finding out their features with subsequent comparison with theoretical knowledge. Conclusion of the thesis is the generalization based on the participant observation and the continuous questioning, what influence does the local administration on the development of the municipality Tmaň and what the political aspects of the management of the municipality Tmaň are.
Decision of local government in setting up the job an occupational firefighters

This thesis is concerned with an occupational firefighters of volunteer firefighters units who are employees of the municipality or city as a founder of the fire brigade, particularly through the establishment and funding of such jobs with a focus on application possibilities additional financing in the form of the announced funding from public institutions and local government units. In this thesis is to decipher justify the creation of such jobs with a list of benefits for the embattled community, and of course the implications are with this little-known phenomenon linked, what is the sustainability of such jobs - volunteer firefighters to full-time employment, as well as the legal framework for this system. The thesis is also including a practical enumeration and distribution of affected units below split criteria, making this work may serve as a basic tool in the decision-making process, municipalities considering establishing at least one job firefighter by profession, since such a comprehensive manual review is still there and it is not methodologically unified in the Czech Republic. Final thesis also deals with the integration of employees - an occupational firefighters to public administrations basic local government unit, including subordination in the decision-making process and governance structure.
