System for Recording and Reporting Fault States of Cooling Devices
Jašek, Filip ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and creation of a system for recording and reporting error states of cooling devices on the principle of a compressor heat pump. An important element of the concept of the entire monitoring system is a built-in platform based on the ESP32 microcontroller for evaluating data measured by sensors. Another key element is the communication module, which sends measured data via GPRS in the form of MQTT messages to the service web application. The application receives, evaluates and records measured data. Subsequently are measured data and evaluated error states presented to the user in the form of tables and interactive graphs.
Heating of Veterinary Clinic
Marčiš, Šimon ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis examines a design of water heating and heating system for Veterinary clinic in Horný Hričov. The theoretical section reviews basic aspects of heat pumps like history, operating principles, types of refrigerants used and basic classification of heat pumps. A specific attention is paid to the brine/water heat pump type which is analyzed in detail. The analytical section of this thesis consists of complete calculation and design of the heating system and water heating. The third section of the thesis comprises a project elaborated to the level of a realization documentation for the construction. The project consists of a technical report and a drawing documentation.
Apartment house Žlíbky
Sukop, Lukáš ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for a new apartment building in Brno in the Chrlice district in the South Moravian Region. The apartment building is located in the cadastral area of Brno - Chrlice, parcel number 1571/2. The solved object is a partially basement building with four above-ground floors. There are a total of 12 apartments on the upper floors. In the basement there are common areas of home equipment. The apartments on the upper floors, except for the first one, are equipped with balconies accessible from the bedrooms and living rooms. The apartments on the top floor are also equipped with terraces. The building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips. The construction system of the building is a two-way wall. Vertical load-bearing structures are designed from brick blocks, horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete. The building is covered with a flat single-skin roof. The bachelor thesis consists of the main text part and the appendix part.
Waste heat recovery in a laundry care process
Križan, Andrej ; Bobák, Petr (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
Main purpose of this thesis is to explain the issue of waste heat from broader point of view. It´s substantial part therefore deals with various available methods of waste heat utilization and their analysis. Large part of the thesis is devoted to description and usage of heat exchangers, heat pumps and thermal energy storage. The main theme of the thesis is the use of waste heat from industrial laundry room. It also introduces the process of the professional maintenance service along with its specifications and parameters of waste streams from washing machines. Main goal of the practical part of the thesis is to design equipment which could be used to store waste heat from washing machines. This equipment is designed to be used for specific process in NETME Centre laboratory. In conclusion, thesis addresses the propposed equipment from the energetical and economical point of view.

Civic amenities building
Tesař, Ondřej ; Svoboda, David (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of this Master´s project is the design of the elementary art school in Slavkov u Brna. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with architectural and structural design of the building, the second part with design of selected building services, and the third part with a noise study of the building. The building has two floors and a flat green roof. It is operationally divided into two sections with a common entrance - the art school itself and the concert hall. The first section consists of the office, six classrooms, a room for music theory, a choir room, a storage room, and sanitary facilities. The second section includes the concert hall, gallery, foyer, prep room, and sanitary facilities. The technical equipment of the building is located on the second floor. The building has load-bearing ceramic masonry walls, based on plain concrete foundation strips. The floor and roof structures are designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The partitions design is ceramic masonry units and acoustic plasterboard walls. The facade design combines greenery and ventilated cladding. The design building services include heating with two heat pumps, ventilation and cooling with two air ventilation systems, rainwater management for toilet flushing, artificial lighting, and photovoltaic power plants for the building services. The noise study covers issues of sound insulation of the building structures, reverberation time in selected rooms, and an urban acoustic study. The result is the correct design of the building in terms of acoustic comfort.
