Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with acetabular fracture diagnosis Author: Alena Šilhavá Supervisor: Mgr. Irena Novotná Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a detailed case study of a patient diagnosed with a condition following acetabular fracture, along with its theoretical background. Methods: The bachelor thesis was elaborated during the completion of continuous professional practice at the Rehabilitation Hospital in Beroun from 8. 1. 2024 2. 2. 2024. The thesis consists of a general and a specific part. The general part focuses on theoretical knowledge regarding the diagnosis of acetabular fracture and the possibilities of its treatment from both orthopedic and physiotherapeutic perspectives. The specific part includes the patient's medical history, initial kinesiological examination on the basis which a short-term and long-term therapeutic plan were made, followed by individual therapeutic units, an exit kinesiological examination and an evaluation of the therapy's effectiveness. Results: During the work with the patient, comprising 14 therapeutic units including initial and exit examinations, many positive changes occurred. Barbora Homonická Pyšková Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care of patient with rheumatoid arthritis Objectives: The goal of the thesis is to summarize theoretical and methodological basis of rheumatoid arthritis and and to describe their use in the rehabilitation of a patient with this diagnosis. Another aim was to demonstrate the effect of selected physiotherapeutic methods and procedures in practice, to compare them with new trends in the field of rheumatology and to describe the possibilities of influencing the functional state of the patient. Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after double osteosynthesis of the humerus with postoperative paresis of the nerve radialis Objectives: The aim of this thesis is the theoretical elaboration of knowledge concerning peripheral paresis with emphasis on the radial nerve, osteosynthesis of the humerus and the rehabilitation process. In a special part, the aim is to elaborate a case study of physiotherapeutic care, which focuses on postoperative paresis of the n. radialis after double osteosynthesis of the humerus, using both theoretical and practical knowledge from the bachelor's study. Methods: The thesis has two parts. In the theoretical part I have elaborated data on the shoulder joint, fractures, osteosynthesis of the humerus, peripheral nerves, paresis of the n. radialis and possibilities of rehabilitation in this diagnosis with the help of specialized sources. Author: Jan Dudek Title: Case study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with Nervus Peroneus Communis Paresis Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the theoretical information about the diagnosis of peroneal paresis and to create a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with peripheral paresis of the nervus peroneus communis followed up by an evaluation of the effect of therapy. Methods: In the general part of the thesis, the problems of peripheral paresis are summarized on the basis of the literature cited below, with a focus on rehabilitation procedures. The special part presents a case report of a patient with peripheral paresis nevus peroneus communis and the processing of the information obtained from it. Svatava Neuwirthová Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with Parkinson's disease Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis i to process a case study of a ptient diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the special part and in the theorethical part to provide information about this diagnosis, particularly focusing on etiopathogenesis, diagnosis ant treatment. Methods: The general part includes theoretical information about Parkinson's disease concerning clinical presentation, ethiopathogenesis, pathophysiology, diagnostic options and teratment, including rehabilitation. The special part contains the case report of the patient, whoch was developer during the bachelor's internship at the Nemocnice milosrdných sester svatého Karla Boromejského. Results: The objectives of both the theorethical and special parts were fulfilled. Conclusion: Based on the evaluation of the therapy's efect, it can be stated that physiotherapeutic care was succesful because it had a partially positive impact on the patient's condition. Author: Adriana Ondrášková Supervisor: PhDr. Ivana Vláčilová, Ph.D. Title: A case report of physiotherapy care of a patient diagnosed with congestive heart failure and implantation of HeartMate 3 LVAD Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to theoretically process the information related to the diagnosis of heart failure and implantation of HeartMate III and to record the course of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with this diagnosis. Methods: The case report of physiotherapeutic care of the selected patient was prepared during the concurrent professional practice at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague. The theoretical part is devoted to information and knowledge about the diagnosis of heart failure and implantation of HeartMate III. To write the special section, a anamnesis was first taken and an initial kinesiology examination was performed. Based on the examination, a short-term and long-term therapeutic plan was written. A total of 10 therapeutic units were performed with the patient. After comparing the initial and final examinations, the effect of therapy was evaluated. Methods: The thesis is divided into a general and practical part. In the general part, the thesis focus on describing the theoretical background of this diagnosis using professional literature. The practical part presents a case study of a patient with whom I had the opportunity to collaborate during a continuous professional practice at the Rehabilitation Inpatient Department at Na Homolce Hospital in Prague from January 30 to February 9, 2024. The case study includes patient examination, proposed therapy based on initial values, daily therapy records, and evaluation of the subsequent therapy effect. Results: During several therapeutic sessions, most of the short-term physiotherapeutic plan goals were achieved, including preventing the development of spasticity, preventing muscle shortening, maintaining joint ranges of motion, improving the active mobility of the left extremities, improving the sitting and walking stereotype, and increasing independence in daily activities....
