Automated UML Class Diagrams Generation
Brázdil, Martin ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This master's thesis describes the analysis, design and implementation of an application for automatic generation of UML class diagram. Application is designed as a web service, which provides remote access, especially permanent actuality of generated class diagram. Input of the service is a compiled application written for C# .NET or Java platform. The reader is acquainted with basics of reverse engineering of mentioned platforms and with structure of UML class diagram. Then are these knowledge applied in design and implementation of the service. The main goal is to facilitate and accelerate the activities of software development team members.
Application Development for Financial Advisors
Halinár, Petr ; Bradáč, Richard (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The modern time is characterized by strong competition in almost every field of doing, customers expect better and better services, demands are growing permanently. Capability to satisfy customers´ expectations became one of the key success factors. In many cases is this capability of delivering additional value the only significant benefit which differ you from competition. Customers rely on impressions and image of the company more and more. This work does not deal with complex customer relationship management, but is aimed at improving the position of financial advisors/consultants in this area. The purpose of application, designed in this work, is to improve effectiveness and save time in every day’s life which is wasted for unnecessary searching and browsing records. This goal is connected with capability of application to deliver methods which make possible easy and effective client portfolio management.
Application of object-oriented methodology when designing an information system of the payment institution
Justová, Markéta ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
The aim of the Diploma thesis is to evaluate the selected object-oriented (OO) methodology as it was defined by its author, on the basis of defined criteria, whether it is applicable in practice when designing an information system, with a main focus on analysis of the new core banking system supporting key processes of payment institution and Forex broker. Diploma thesis describes selected OO methodologies and notations used in the analysis and design of information systems. Further, it focuses on the evaluation of the real usage of selected method (Unified Process) in the environment of payment institution. It confronts the theoretical definition of a selected OO methodology with its application during the analysis of IS through practical demonstrations created within the case study.
The proposal to use agile development procedures of Scrum framework with UML modeling language applicable for creating websites
Kučera, Antonín ; Oškrdal, Václav (advisor) ; Luc, Ladislav (referee)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is the proposal to use agile development procedures of Scrum framework with UML modeling language applicable for creating websites of small scale. The emphasis is especially put on creating a practically usable type model of the websites. The theoretical part of the thesis has two main chapters. In the "Agile methodology" chapter are listed principles of agile approach to creating software. The next part of this chapter is focus on agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, ASD, FDD, DSDM, LD and Crystal). In the "UML" chapter is introduced modeling language UML and its principles. The next part of this chapter is focus on UML diagrams used in practical part of this thesis (use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram and deployment diagram). The practical part of this thesis focuses on the design type model for creating websites of small scale. The type model is based both on the theoretical part of this work and practical experience of the author. In the first part is introduced scheme of model, where is shown the mutual relationship of individual phases. In the next part of this chapter are discussed the individual phases where is used the principle of agile development framework Scrum and examples of use of the UML diagrams.
Potential of Unified Modelling Language usage for IS description and its application on a case study
Šindelářová, Šárka ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Vratný, Petr (referee)
This paper deals with the possible uses of the UML language as a tool for analysis, design and information systems implementation which is being used by people involved in the process of information systems development. The main goal of this work is to become acquainted with practical methods of using the UML language whereas one of the possible ways will be applied to the "ProBodyShop" case study. Namely, the method is applied to the stage of creating the detailed analysis. Another goal of this paper is to summarize the principles, history, and the elements of the UML language and to introduce the existing UML diagrams and CASE tools necessary for the modeling. Last but not least, in the case study I will demonstrate the decision-making of the information system analyst when creating the detailed analysis. These goals have been achieved by studying the available specialized publications, passing the OMG certified UML course and exam, and thanks to the experience gained during the development of information systems and especially by actively consulting the case study with the submitter. The main benefit of this paper is the creation of basic analytical foundation for development and testing in the first implementation phase of the "ProBodyShop" project and the example of a possible way for the analyst to deal with the detailed analysis. The theoretical part of this work discusses the UML language principles and history, including the main characteristics and development of the UML language. Another part aims at modeling in the UML 2, which represents different views at the system model, the diagrams and the necessary modeling tools. The practical part, which is the detailed analysis of the "ProBodyShop" project, is based on the requirements of the submitter and on theoretical knowledge. This part consists of the introduction to the problem, selection of the proper CASE tool and the process of creating the UML diagrams.
