Unfair advertising

The subject of my doctoral thesis is the analysis of the judicial treatment of unfair advertising. The aim of the thesis is to offer a systematic outlook on the legal environment of advertising from a private and a public law perspective. The legal definition of advertising is given in the Advertising Regulation Act, which can be regarded as the most important public act governing unfair advertising and in the Act on the Operation of Radio and Television Broadcasting, which regulates advertising in television, radio and internet broadcasting. All these definitions belong to the public law area. On the other hand, the definition of unfairness can be found in a private law act, namely in the Commercial Code (Act No.513/1991 Coll.). The unfairness of competition (indirectly of unfair advertising as well) is defined with a general clause against unfair competition. As a result of these definitions, unfair advertising could be understood as the activity, which fulfils the legal definition of advertising and at the same time fulfils the general clause against unfair competition. Legal and Economic Aspects of Cartel Agreements in the Czech Republic

The thesis is dealing with Impact of Cartel agreement on individual subjects of Competition within the Scope of wider macroeconomic context. On the basis of predicted behavior at microeconomic level are outlined possible macroeconomic Impacts. Current practice in protecting Competition in the Czech Republic is delimited in the perspective of possible philosophy-political approaches emphasizing the legal framework. Competition protection is generally aimed at consumer welfare, which can be considered to be the primal target. Fundamental terms are defined on the basis of factual usage with the focus on the problematical questions in practice. In the practical part is briefly introduced proceedings course including possible remedies.
The Study of Implementation of Innovated Products in Production Process

This student thesis deals with a problem of manufacturing and competition ability of the joint stock company ZVVZ in the range of its manufacturing program - radial fans. The thesis compares the present and the innovated type of small radial fans from the view of manufacturing technology and manufacturing costs. The study comes out the technological documentation and demand forecast of future market. Finally the thesis summaries conditions which are necessary for the successful entrance of the innovated type of radial fans into the manufacturing process.

The diploma thesis focuses on the practical use of competitive intelligence, a method increasingly used to support decision making nowadays. The essential key principle is based on collection of precise data and their thourough analysis. The obtained information gives a comprehensive overview of the competitor analysis. The acquired knowledge of the competition is important for company's strategic decision-making processes. At the beginning the thesis gives a theoretical background on different means of data collecting including the ethic kodex. Folowing is the identification of the modern sources of information. Further, various methods and approaches of competitive intelligence are described. And the theoretical background on competitive strategies and their impact on the market wraps up the theoretical part of the thesis. The method is applied to create departmet of competitive inteligence for the company. Then the various options for further go to market activities are described and the scope of cooperation with selected customers is evaluted. The thesis describes the competitive intelligence advantages and the possible ways of aplications for the competitive strategy. At the end, the recommendations for the management of the company are summed up.

It includes analysis of unemployment structure in relation to age, aducation, state of health and unemployment lenght. This diploma work also includes proposed solutions and measures that could contribute to the reduction of the unemployment rate in the region Chrudim.
The competitive ability of Česká pošta in the transportation of packages

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the competitive ability of Česká pošta in the transportation of packages. The thesis focuses on in-state transportation of packages up to 30 kg with a guarantee of delivery within 1 day. The practical part is concerned with the analysis of competitors, competitive analysis and SWOT analysis. Subsequently, recommendations for improvement in the company's situation in in-state transportation of packages are made.

The base of thesis is characteristic of the basic internal analyses of the business entity and external analyses of the business environment and their application on any selected company. The thesis includes description of selected company, analysis of their external environment including Porter's five forces model, competitor analysis, analysis of attractiveness of the branch and STEP analysis. The internal analyses are applied by SWOT analysis, portfolio analysis and SPACE analysis. The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the group Société Générale between 2005-2011. The analysis concentrates on assesment of economic development and efficiency of Société Générale between 2005-2011 as a response to the development in the global economy, including the analysis of the main reasons for its development and analysis of potential risks in future development of the group. The thesis also deals with the development of the French banking market between 2005-2011, its specifics and main players with impact on comparison of these player to Société Générale and on finding the market position for Société Générale.
Characterization of molecular composition of the codling moth (\kur{Cydia pomonella}) genome using reassociation kinetics

In this study, the reassociation kinetics of codling moth (Cydia pomonella) was performed in order to characterize the molecular composition of the codling moth (Cydia pomonella) genome and to isolate highly repetitive and unique DNA components. The effectivity of distinct repetitive DNA fractions as a specific competitor in fluerescence in situ hybridization was tested.
