The position of community Alcoholics Anonymous in addiction services system: Experience and attitudes of AA members in Prague

Alcoholics Anonymous is the largest and best-known self-help organization. In the Czech Republic, neither its position nor its number and characteristics of its members are known yet. Therefore it is necessary to learn more about them. There is a supervised therapy, as well as AA. Is it possible to find a connection between these "different" approaches to alcohol addiction therapy? The theoretical part contains a description of alcohol addiction, information about the system of medical care for alcoholics and information on the current situation in the Czech Republic. The most important information is described in the chapter on Alcoholics Anonymous fellowship. The main research objective is to describe the characteristics, behavior and motivation of all AA groups in Prague and possibly find out which place can AA hold in the system of addictology services. In accordance with the objective five research questions were specified. Data were collected through a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using mathematical and statistical techniques with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software. The nutrition of clients addicted to alcohol during treatment stay in a psychiatric hospital

The topic of the thesis focuses on nutrition for people addicted to alcohol. The theoretical part of the thesis is to describe and adequate nutrition recommendations, which should people addicted to alcohol optimally receive. This section will describe the appropriate food components in the context of a variety of somatic and psychological changes in clients addicted to alcohol. There is also described the problems with the long-term consumption of high doses of alcohol occur in the context of micro and macronutrients. Pointed out the possible signs and risk inherent in inadequate nutrition in alcoholism carries. Also in this section above, which each term medical complications of alcohol bears. In the practical part of the thesis using of quantitative research focuses on finding the eating habits of clients psychiatric hospital in Opava and Prague. The aim of this section is to determine whether ingested during a stay in a psychiatric hospital corresponds to the nutritional needs of clients. anglicky This thesis deals with one of the most important issues of our time. Trying to look for personality structure of individuals dependent on alcohol, psychoactive substances and pathological gamblers. Describes differences in personality structure between the user and the differences between men and women. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the present the accessible knowledge in the field of personality-dependent individuals. The empirical part of the work deals with a research carried out at the pavilions of addictions in a psychiatric hospital Prague Bohnice. In the empirical part of the research hypotheses and set goals that are subsequently evaluated. This thesis provides insight into the personality of addicted individuals and their own research conclusions are largely consistent with findings from the literature.

This bachelor´s dissertation explains the reasons why the House for mother with children in trouble is used as social service. The theoretical part is composed of five parts. The first chapter deals with the basic function of the family, functionality of the family and factors which endanger the functionality of family. The second chapter introduces problems of lonely parent and hazards associated with it. The third chapter explains what the social exclusion related to the theme of the work. The fourth section deals with social service Home for mother with children in trouble - which is one of the form of support. Independent research is presented in the fith chapter. The author explains what qualitative research and structured interview is. Description of the place and researched sample follows it. Inhabitants of the House for mother with children in trouble serve as researched sample. Next part deals with structured interviews with respondents.
