Formula Car Transport Trailer
Neuman, Tomáš ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the conceptual design of a trailer for transportation of Formula car SAE and experimental vehicle Formula Ford. The design of the trailer is presented in the thesis in accordance with the legislation of the Czech Republic. The trailer dimensioning is desinged in view of the anticipated loads. The main task of the thesis is the strength test of the designed trailer.
Methodology of coordinate system setup for optical measuring device Pontos
Volek, Aleš ; Drápela, Miloslav (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
The graduation thesis deals with invention of detailed definition of the coordinate system for Pontos system. The solution is based on suitable localization method of the point on a car body, whose coordinates are known from CAD data. First part of the thesis describes the design of adapter which determines the reference point. Software solution is presented in second part. Contribution of the work and accuracy of the method are discussed in the end.
Perception of vehicle speed by pedestrian
Rak, Martin ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the issue of the perception of speed of a vehicle from pedestrian’s point of view. The theoretical part consists of a research into sense perception of humans and construction of motor vehicles. The practical part designs and describes the experiment which was performed in order to provide data used for analyzing different factors and their effect on the accuracy of vehicle speed estimations.
Effect of Active Vehicle Safety in the Prevention of Road Accidents
Franc, Šimon ; Frič, Jindřich (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on effects of active vehicle safety on the prevention of traffic accidents. In the introductory section, the term of active safety is defined and divided into four categories. In next four chapters, the particular elements of active safety are described in more detail and some selected elements are described in depth. Chapter seven includes a questionnaire; it enquires opinions of people about some of the elements of active safety. Practical road tests were conducted as part of this work. Theirs description and evaluation are in the last chapters.
Design of autonomous family car interior
Šimala, Lukáš ; John, David (referee) ; Haltof, Vladimír (advisor)
The subject of this is the design of a family autonomous vehicle, which is designed to transport four to five people. The work contains an analysis of current vehicles as well as concepts on the basis of which the direction in the field of mobility can be deduced. The aim of this thesis is to create an interior design that takes into account the expected social, technological and economic development.
Mechanical-hydraulic model of vehical energy regeneration
Pisklák, Jan ; Vrbka, Martin (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is a research about mathematic-physical model of vehicle’s kinetic energy regeneration. Mr. Pourmovahed A. et al. were dealing with this problem. He used the method of the determinated thermal time constants. Pourmovahed continued in study reports written by Green W. L. and Otis D.. His scientific work covers the analytical treatment which is compared with an experimental tests.
Options for the Determination of the Influence of Electronic Stabilization Systems of the Chassis on the Driving Dynamics of a Vehicle
Bilík, Martin ; Vémola, Aleš (referee) ; Panáček, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of determining the influence of electronic stability systems on the chassis of the vehicle driving dynamics. In the introductory section is made theoretical analysis of road vehicle dynamics. Further description is made of some stabilization systems and situations and how to solve them by using these systems. Chapter 6.2.1 describes the methodology of practical experiment, which can determine influence of the stability system of the vehicle chassis on driving dynamics. The next chapter describes an experiment conducted and interpreted the measured values. The penultimate chapter is a simulation of this experiment using simulation software Virtual Crash. The last chapter is an evaluation of the experiment and compares the results with simulation programs using the same input conditions. The conclusion summarizes the results of this work.
Design of Electric Utility Terrain Vehicle
Jakubík, Norbert ; Pelikán, František (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is to create a new interesting design of electric utility terrain vehicle in accordance with technical, ergonomic and aesthetic requirements for such product. My main aim is to create an innovative design concept of terrain vehicle with utility dump bed and seats for two passengers.
Crash-Test Data Analysis - Side Impacts
Tillhonová, Veronika ; Ptáček, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with crash tests. Many international organizations specialize directly in conducting crash tests. Impact test simulates vehicle collision. The three most common test are front, side, and backstreets. The diploma thesis focuses on side conflicts. Side clashes are characterized by the fact that the first vehicle is damaged at the front and the second in the side. The measured data from these tests was evaluated to obtain the deformation energy consumed for permanent damage to vehicles. Deformation energy was calculated as equivalent to the individual speed of individual vehicles. EES values have been evaluated by various methods used in expert practice and compared. The impact tests were simulated to clarify assistance to experts in the analysis of traffic accidents.
The Influence of Modern Passive Safety Features in the Protection of a Vehicle's Occupants
Vostrejž, Jan ; Tylšar, Vladimír (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
Thesis in the field of passive safety problems, traffic accidents and health outcomes of participants in road traffic accidents is aimed, inter alia, to create an overview of modern passive safety elements especially cars. The work deals with elements of the passive safety system and the impact on the crew vehicle. It describes the principle of operation, especially airbags, safety belts, belt pretensioner and it includes solution of limiters tensioning force in the safety belt and other elements that have the task of reducing the consequences of a traffic accident. The use of modern elements of passive safety provides increased protection for the crew and eliminates the formation injuries crew. The technical issue is therefore closely related to the healthcare industry and in particular the Court of medicine in the field of personal injury in relation to the types and characters of incidents, or by applying of the safety elements. There are also shown the actual road accidents in which were killed or injured members of crew with an analysis of the mechanism of injury with the use or non-use of safety elements.
