Locating welds defects on cranes.
Zíka, Luboš ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of weld defects of cranes localisation and check. The aim is to analyse non-destructive methods, monitor the occurence of defects and their form and also to suggest the procedure of correction. The work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, there is an analysis of individual methods of non-destructive testing that are used for weld check on a particular girder. There is also an analysis of welding technologies used when making a crane girder. The practical part deals with evaluation of weld defects using two methods of non-destructive testing. Furthermore, statistics of defects is realised. In conclusion, the statistics outcome is resumed and evaluated.
Flow rate measurement
Chudý, Dávid ; Hudec, Martin (referee) ; Himr, Daniel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis systematically introduces the most frequently used flowmeters with emphasis on the source of measurement uncertainty. In the practical part, the clamp on ultrasonic flowmeter from FUJI ELECTRIC was used in laboratory flow measurement. The aim of the experiment was to determine the effect of the input value error on the resulting flow. The combined standard uncertainty for one flow was also determined, including the most significant sources of inaccuracy. These are the uncertainty of the pipe diameter measurement and the meter error specified by the manufacturer. The data measurement processing led to the conclusions as stated in the manual by the manufacturer.
Methods for the survey reinforced concrete bridges
Ehrenberger, Ondřej ; Anton, Ondřej (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
Policies and types of diagnostic examination of a bridge. The theoretical section contains review diagnostic methods for a steel concrete frameworks. In a practical section there is made a examination of a bridge object over a river Moravia and a suggestion of the examination according to the detected defects. In the experimental section we are discovering, with a help of georadar, a location of reinforcement of a monolithic wall and board.
Ultrasonic machining
Vacek, Albert ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This research bachelor thesis deals with the issue of ultrasound machining. The thesis has several main chapters, where the issue of ultrasound, ultrasonic machining, ultrasonic machines and their manufacturers, materials suitable for this technology and the last is a technical-economic evaluation.
Contactless Monitoring of Objects Movement
Kadlubcová, Anna ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with contactless monitoring of objects movement. The theoretical part is focused on distance measurement, ultrasonic and optical sensors. In the practical part, the actual design and implementation of the solution is presented, both in terms of hardware and software. This part contains the verification and demonstration of the final prototype.
Control System for Management of Water Supply at a Farm
Doležal, Aleš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with installing a new system for the supply and management of water on a farm. A PLC from Unitronics company was chosen with the appropriate modules for control and operation. The PLC program has been written in the UniLogic integrated development environment from Unistronics company using ladder language. The new system is controlled and monitored locally by the HMI panel and remotely by the website. The HMI and the website were created in the UniLogic Integrated Development Environment. The thesis also deals with selecting suitable sensors and components for system regulation.
Acceleration of Ultrasound Simulations on Multi-GPU Systems
Stodůlka, Martin ; Vaverka, Filip (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The main focus of this project is usage of multi - GPU systems and usage of CUDA unified memory . Its goal is to accelerate computation of 2D and 3D FFT, which is the main part of simulations in k- Wave library .K- Wave is a C++/ Matlab library used for simulations of propagation of ultrasonic waves in 1D , 2D or 3D space . Acceleration of these functions is necessary , because the simulations are computationally intensive .
Measurement and evaluation of flows in sewer networks
Haška, Aleš ; Prax,, Petr (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
Measuring flow rate, water surface and rainfall are the crucial inputs for the calibration of the hydraulic model. This bachelor’s thesis presents mathematical models and measuring devices for the sewer networks. This thesis summarises the measuring devices that are currently available and used on the sewer network. Furthermore, theory of random and systematic errors is discussed. In the second section, this theory is implemented in the chosen area for the sewer network in Znojmo. On the 9. 9. 2020, three ultrasonic measuring devices (type ISCO 2150 with AV sensor) and one device for measuring water surface (type IJINUS) were installed in this area. This thesis provides continuous measurements which are then applied for the calibration of the hydraulic model. On completion of this thesis it is necessary to continue to calibrate and verify the model in order to increase accuracy and be more precise.

Distance meter with ESP32
Havelka, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to implement a distance meter with two sensors (ultrasonic and laser) with an ESP32 microcontroller. Then the ability to display measured values on the display and via the web interface. The first part deals with the theory of ultrasound and laser, their use as distance meters and a summary of advantages and disadvantages. The following chapter describes the design of the distance meter with all the components that will be used. The third chapter focuses on the implementation of the distance meter. It was created wiring diagram and designed printed circuit board that handled all mutual communication between the ESP32 and other peripherals. The whole device is placed in a box in the shape of a pistol printed on a 3D printer. The next part of the work briefly describes the software of the distance meter written in the C programming language in the development environment Arduino IDE. Finally, images of the final product were inserted into the work and test measurements were performed, the result of them is written into tables, graphs and subsequently evaluated.
