Models Supporting Decision Making of a Tourism Destination Management

This diploma thesis focuses on the application of system thinking and its methods to the issues of decision making within destination management and its organizations. The main aim of the thesis was to create a model to support decision making of destination management organization and to plan sustainable and responsible tourism development in the destination. A partial aim was to create a simplified model in which a simulation of the given system was performed. This aim has been applied to the destination of Cesky Krumlov. The contribution of the work is to find optimal decisions, policies and individual processes in order to assess the subsequent impacts and manage the development of tourism destination towards sustainability.
Changes in tourist offer in regions of the Czechia in the years 2009-2018

Bachelor thesis deals with changes in tourist offer in regions of the Czechia in the years 2009-2018. At the beginning of the thesis is briefly outlined the topic of work, the aims of the work, the importance of tourism, the issue of so-called overtourism and the working questions. In the theoretical part, the definitions of tourism and its trends are discussed, namely the definition of tourism, geography of tourism, forms of tourism, types of tourism, types of tourism, sustainable tourism, concept of sustainable development of tourism, sustainable development, sustainable development of the region, sustainable development of the tourist region, tourist offer and tourist demand. The theoretical part also deals with the potential of tourism, risk factors for tourism and trends in tourism. In the empirical part, an analysis of the offer is based on the COT magazine, more detailed typology and form of tourism are outlined and the regional differentiation of the form of tourism is divided by regions of the Czechia. In conclusion, the results are summarized, and the working questions answered. Everything is completed with literature on the subject - a list of all publications and data sources.
Models Supporting Decision Making of a Tourism Destination Management

The topic of the diploma thesis is the models for decision support of the management of tourism destination. This is an important topic in tourism all over the world, as tourism destination management is a complex, multidisciplinary and often inflated question. The complexity of the structure and the number of stakeholders is also the reason for being important in today's modern times. Because of the complexity of the whole topic, it is often difficult to grasp the theme as a whole and to consistently explain all the existing variables. At the same time, a number of inaccuracies and errors are generated in connection with the management of the tourist destination. The work uncovers the basic structure of relationships in the destination of tourism and attempts to outline the functioning of the tourism destination management as a whole. The benefit of the thesis is to update the model created by Ing. Petrem Štumpfem Ph.D. in his dissertation work. Another benefit of this work is the generation of scenarios of the likely and anticipated development of the tourist destination of Southern Bohemia.
Sustainable and Responsible Tourism in a Smart Destination

The main aim of the work was to apply the principles of sustainability and responsibility in the tourist destinations with the concept of Smart cities and Smart Regions and the use of modern methods and trends for the development of tourism in the tourist destination. These targets were applied to the town of Český Krumlov. One part of the thesis is quantitative research, which examines relations between residents of Český Krumlov and its visitors. According to research results, the design part was elaborated. The suggestions are focused on the development of new smart technologies in transport. Smart, modern and sustainable traffic management in the destination is one of the important components of the Smart City concept. The aim of the suggestion part is to create comprehensive traffic management system that could be useful for visitors of the city and for residents too.

Thesis includes two literature rewiews on the topic of ,,sustainable development" and ,, sustainable tourism", characteristics of the protected area of Pálava. For the evaluation of sustainable tourism were analyzed development and strategic documents of CHKO Pálava Administration, micro-region Mikulovsko and micro-region of Lednicko-valtický areál. Further was realized questionnaire and analyzed of the level of tourism in the Pálava.

Sustainable development of tourism in Slovenia

The final thesis deals with the concept of sustainable tourism development and its application in Slovenia. The aim of the thesis is an evaluation of the current tourism and sustainable development in this country. The first chapter tries to explain the sustainable development in general, including its assumptions and indicators. The second chapter provides the general and economic characteristic of Slovenia. It describes attractiveness of tourism, the infrastructure, incoming and domestic tourism. The third part is focused on sustainable development of tourism and its form in Slovenia. In the last part is evaluated the questionnaire survey and also contains an interview with the Chief of the foreign representation of the Slovenian Tourist Board in Prague. Finally, was made evaluation and recommendations.
The Model of Product of Sustainable Tourism

The thesis aims to design model of product of sustainable tourism. Tho model is focused on modern domestic tourism products, that meet necessary requierements in terms of sustainable development and current trends in the offer of tourism services and trends in demand. The products Religious Monuments of Kutná Hora, Moravian Wine Trails and Lipno Season Never Ends are analysed to fulfil the aim in terms of principles of sustainable tourism. Analysis is accomplished by qualitative comparative analysis. The rules, that apply to all researched products are identified by means of induction. I created the model of product of sustainable tourism based on discovered findings.
Eco-labelling of accommodation facilities

The bachelor thesis is focused on the history of sustainable behavior, especially in the tourism industry, and on the development of ecolabels with the emphasis on accommodation facilities. The evaluation of competitive advantage of ecological lodging establishments and the process of applying for the certificate are as well included in the thesis. The main aim is to discover how important is a matter of protection the nature and care for environment for tourists, and how strong can it influence their decision-making process and willingness to pay extra for using certified services in Prague. The hypothesis of the author, that the clients of lodging establishments in Prague are willing to pay more for these services, was assessed by the questionnaire. In conclusion, author expresses his point of view regarding the topic and suggested probable next steps.
