Copenhagen School of Security Studies - Societal Dimension and the Case of Egypt Securitization and its Impact on Human Rights

The aim of this paper is to find out whether the securitization theory of the Copenhagen School is applicable outside euro-american space. This topic is chosen because of the contradicting opinions of theorists regarding the universality of the theory. Many authors criticize also the disregard of the process, context, pictures or physical actions. The theory is applied in societal sector in Egypt on nine cases including human rights non-governmental organizations, political opponents, critics and asylum seekers. The development of securitization, implementation of extraordinary measures, results and impact of the securitization are monitored in these cases. Attention is paid also to the fact whether securitization took into consideration context, process and whether pictures and physical actions played any role and what role it was. Method used in the paper is instrumental case study. It aims at the explanation of narrowly defined case on the basis of the theory. In the stated cases the threats to identity are presented as "others", alien and with the exception of one case as "Western" which means different from the Egyptian identity. This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of financial performance ŽOS Zvolen Company, Inc. by statistical methods. The first, theoretical, part is treated the issue of financial analysis, regression analysis and time series. The second, practical part describes this company and analyzes selected indicators, which are further processed by means of regression analysis and time series analysis. In the third part is completely analyzed situation and processed proposals for its improvement.

The master thesis is focused on Evaluation of the Company´s Financial Performance Using Benchmarking Approach. The master thesis consists of three following parts. The first part deals with theoretical methods, especially benchmarking realization and its different types and models. The second part contains evaluation of the current situation in OBB stavební materiály s.r.o. and compares its business to others using benchmarking method. I used public data from financial annual accounts and database Amadeus. The last part includes complete evaluation of the company´s financial performance and recommendation on improvemet of the financial performance in company OBB stavební materiály s.r.o.

Socio-cultural centre with townhall for the district Brno-Kohoutovice

The building of the town hall Brno Kohoutovice is situated on the site next to the local hospital. Currently, there is a widespread paved area, which has become the place for markets and other cultural activities. Town hall completed urban structure, built on the most visible plot, and closes the plaza on the east side. From the south, the square is open to Kohoutovická valley. It is closed and opened at the same time by a colonnade. Functional composition is expressed in both - size and material. On a solid concrete base, which holds cultural and social events, lie two light steel boxes dedicated to the town hall. The middle part is cantilivered into the square, which symbolizes the proximity of town hall offices to the citizens. It is dedicated to the departements, which are in daily contact with the public. The upper part with large terrace has representative function. There are the internal departements and a ceremonial hall.

This Master´s thesis focuses on analyzing a firm of my choosing. More specifically, it is a limited liability firm operating in the fields of architecture, design and construction. Using both external and internal analysis, including other selected analyses and their results, it clarifies the firm's position in the market in which it operates and evaluates its overall condition and structure. The conclusion advises on several proposals that lead to the overall improved state of the chosen firm.

V tretej časti práce sa podrobne rozoberá postup nákupu implementovaný v spoločnosti Siemens, praktický význam strategického a operatívneho nákupu.
