Diagnostics of the Bridge Structure

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the diagnostics of single-span railway bridge over road I/55H at ekm 137,608 (TÚ 2401). The theoretical part of the bachelor’s thesis consists of research applicable standards and technical literature, information on bridge inspection and diagnostics methods suitable for the type of structure. The practical part is focused on the bridge inspection, diagnostics of the construction and evaluation of its results. Based on the results, applicable measures are designed to correct defects and failures of structure.
Static analysis of railway bridge

The bachelor thesis deals with the static analysis of a railway bridge. Using AxisVM X6 software, I created 4 different models and compared them not only with each other, but also with simple manual calculations. Two models are beam models, the third is shell model, the fourth is also shell but with an end ledge that reinforces the entire structure. The structures are loaded by a manually calculated load according to the standard.
Rail bridge over river Váh between Nemšová and Trenčianska Teplá

The diploma thesis is focused on the design of a new steel structure of a single-track railway bridge with bottom bridge deck. The solved bridge construction is located on line No. 123 between Nemšová and Trenčianska Teplá at the point, where the line crosses over the river Váh. The existing bridge on the line has a span of 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 m. The assignment was processed in five variants of a steel bridge structure with a bottom orthotropic deck. Each variant has a different static system, a different number of fields and a different type of superstructure. The comparison of variants was performed using multicriterial evaluation based on selected criteria. The most suitable variant was elaborated in more detail. The calculations were performed according to valid ČSN EN standards.
Railway Bridge on the Track...

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design and check of the supporting structure of the railway bridge on the line Brno - Česká Třebová. The bridge carries a double-track railway line across Šámalova Street in Brno. The span of the bridge is 16.58 m, the length of the supporting structure is 17.1 m and the width in cross section is 17.81 m. Two variants of the supporting structure have been developed. The first variant is a bridge with a composite supporting structure, the second variant is a bridge with concreted steel girders. A technical report and drawing documentation are prepared for the selected variant.

Napjatostně deformační analýza mostu ve Starém Městě u Frýdku-Místku

The bachelor thesis analyses stress and strain of real railway bridge. Construction of bridge is modelled as plane bar system. The fisrt part of the thesis deals with a research, which includes obtaining information from theory, which is necessary for the right solution of the task. Next part dedicates to analytic solution of statically determinate and indeterminate variation of structure for load by own weight and also for load during passage of the train. In the next part are the results of analytic solution verified by numerical solution in program ANSYS. In the last part is evaluated the risk of buckling for all variations of the load.
Railway Bridge above the River

The subject of this master's thesis is a static and structural design of a Load-carrying steel structure of railway bridge with bottom steel deck of the span of 42 + 60 + 42 m over the Labe river in Děčín. A solid steel beam forms the main load-bearing structure of the bridge reinforced with truss-work. The truss-work is made up of an open top chord and diagonal strut without secondary vertical struts. The calculations were done in compliance with valid ČSN EN documents.
Load-carrying steel structure of railway bridge

The master thesis focuses on the design of a Load-carrying steel structure of railway bridge with bottom steel deck of the span of 28 + 45 + 23 m. The bridge is situated in the municipality of Třebestovice. Four variants of solution have been calculated. Two variants are made by plate main beams of variable profile, the next alternative was made by truss structure and the fourth variant consist of a combination of plate main beams with truss stiffener in the middle span. The most optimal solution was processed in detail. The calculations were done in compliance with valid ČSN EN norms.
Design of a railway frame bridge

This thesis deals with a design of a two-track railway frame bridge over a valley. Out of three proposed variants was chosen the variant number 1 - prestressed frame construction with variable beam section. According to actual EN standards the construction was designed and assessed to the serviceability limit state and the ultimate limit state.
Design of a one-span bridge over a local brook

The aim of this thesis is the design and analsysis of a one-span bridge over a local brook. Two variants were designed. The variant of one-span prestressed beam bridge with lower bridge desk was chosen for analysis. The calculation of load effect was made in software Scia Engineer. The supporting structure is assessed for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state according to the europien standards. The time dependent analysis is not trated in this thesis.
