Quantum and tempo of population ageing process in the twelve countries of the former Soviet Union: Challenges, opportunities and public policies Abstract Population ageing is an omnipresent phenomenon which brings along unprecedented challenges to socio-economic development, especially to employment, social security and public health sectors. The broad goal of this doctoral thesis was to demonstrate that it is time to recognize the importance of population ageing and its dynamics even in the countries with relatively young population structures and to take urgent action through implementation of corresponding policy interventions in order to mitigate and eliminate the upcoming negative consequences and utilize potential opportunities. Research on population ageing in both more and less developed countries is abundant. However, amidst numerous studies, countries of the former Soviet Union remain largely overlooked. Besides, the quantum and tempo of population ageing have not been adequately addressed in the existing literature worldwide. The Nature of Corruption in the Republic of Armenia. Its Impact on Human Behaviour and Human Development

Systemic corruption has fierce impacts on human development. Research indicates that systemic corruption in Armenia has invaded into all the sectors of social life and has transformed society making from it a comfortable environment for existence. Human development, social structure, human resources, public way of thinking, opportunities are constrained by the limitations and restriction put by corrupt system. This paper provides a comprehensive study of the systemic nature of corruption and its consequences, the picture of socio-cultural attitude to the corruption through analysing public perceptions, and analyses the connection between corruption, corrupt behaviour and human development. Citizens on Opportunities to Receive Education – September 2018

In the opinion poll carried out in September 2018 by the Public Opinion Research Centre, questions regarding the opportunities to receive education were included. More specifically, the questionnaire asked surveyors about their opinions towards the possibility to gain education based on one’s abilities – 74% of respondents expressed their opinion that everybody has a chance to achieve education according to his or her abilities. Moreover, respondents had to answer a question, what circumstances and personal aspects influence educational background – respondents often suppose diligence, personal abilities and desire for education to be important, when trying to get higher education. Finally, the questionnaire examined views on the creation of special schools in compulsory nine-year basic educational stage – in all cases a majority of respondents supported the creation of the considered types of school.

The bachelor's thesis aids to describe risk management in the construction company focusing primarily on project risks. The theoretical part deals with various types of risks, and explanation of the terms associated with the project. And further deal with analysis of risks and characteristics of the RIPRAN method. The practical part is focused on the risk situations in a particular building company. Subsequently, the building project show the actual procedures and solutions to risk management together with preventive measures.

Risks and Opportunities of Implementing a Corporate Social Responsibility System

The author of the diploma thesis deals with application of methods for risks and opportunity identification and risk analysis to assess the project of implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility to the organization. Firstly, the thesis includes theoretical background about corporate social responsibility and risks management. The theoretical background serves as a support for applying methods and analyzing the necessary areas. The goal of this work is to find solutions and propose preventative measures to be used by the evaluated organization.
