Importance of volunteerism as a possibility of help for heritage of Czech Republic

The goal of this thesis is to determine how important is volunteer work on cultural heritage for its owners. Importance of this work was determined by comparison of two groups of workers, volunteers and ordinary employee. I have compared their costs, efficiency and i have also observe possible alternative impacts of volunteer work. While processing this topic I take in account value of cultural heritage for tourism. I concluded, that volunteer work can be regarded as important help for owners of cultural heritage of Czech Republic, in terms of finance and also it has possitive effects on its promotion.
Cultural Route – Jože Plečnik's Architecture

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of cultural routes that are a product of cultural tourism. Based on the definition of product of cultural tourism diploma thesis defines the key factors of cultural route proposal. On selected examples of already implemented cultural routes identifies important facts for own proposal of cultural route. The subject of the proposed cultural route is Josipa (Jože) Plečnik's architecture. Plečnik was an architect who was active in the first half of the 20th century. The cultural route connects architectural heritage of three European countries, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Austria
Renewal and management of the castle Olešná

This master thesis is focused on the renewal of the castle Olešná and its further comercial and cultural utilisation. In 2013 the castle was bought by its current owners who plan its complete renewal. The castle is currently in bad condition. First part of the thesis concentrates on theory. It offres definition of cultural tourism, part of which is the visit of castles. Further on, the cultural heritage of the Czech Republic and its protection is defined. Second part of the thesis is focused on assessing the current state of the monument and its importance for the tourism in Rakovnicko region. The main object is to propose specific suggestions for future management of the castle.
Potential of less known attractions of region Kolínsko for tourism development

Bachelor thesis is focused on less known natural and historical attractions in the region Kolínsko and on their potential in tourism development. The theoretical part concerns theoretical starting points and analysis of tourism in Central Bohemian Region. It focuses mainly on the definition of the tourism and the characteristic of Central Bohemian Region and region Kolínsko. The practical part presents an overview of natural and historical attractions and analyzes selected attractions in terms of their current use and further potential. One of the elements of this part is processing of the research. The aim is to assess the potential of selected attractions and to come up with concept for their involvement in tourism. This thesis should make readers acquainted with the current state of attractions in region Kolínsko and broaden the awareness about the issue and new attraction involvement in tourism of region Kolínsko.

The practical part of the thesis is focused on research of folk traditions in the Vysočina region. The purpose of the thesis is to identify the potential of tourism in the selected areas with an emphasis on traditions and habits in the areas. Based on the field investigation, the possibility of using traditions and habits in tourism products are determine . This thesis is also aimed at designing a product of tourism that would improve conditions for keeping local traditions and habits.
Inovation of product portfolio using an example of South Moravian region

The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the primary and secondary supply of destination as well as to evaluate the supply of tourism for people with handicap with sensory disabilities and specifically for people with auditory disorders. The next task was to highlight the imperfections and the possibility of developing a supply of destination for people with handicap. Based on the results of the research was created project which provide new options to organizations and preservationist how to customize their offer to handicapped tourists. Opportunities to innovate for people with handicap are many. Aim of this work was to find a way how to identify this poten-tial and how to enforce it.
The use of less known chateaus in the region Benešovsko for tourism development

The bachelor thesis is focused on less known and threatened chateaus in the region Benešovsko and on their use. The theoretical part concerns the definition and the characteristic of tourism. Then focused on specificity of cultural tourism and historic preservation. The second part presents the tourism of the Middle Bohemia and the dictrict Benešovsko. It has been created a brief overview of all the chateaus in the region nad then there are introducend some examples of the interesting use. The main part of the thesis is about the analysis of three threatened chateaus and the determination of their potential use. The main goal is to find more possibilities for utilization of each object and to focus on the area of local tourism. This thesis should widen the awareness about the condition of czech heritage and point to the problematic of growing number of decaying chateuas. It could inspire how to change the courent situation and look for suitable use of chateuas.
Cultural Tourism and Folklore Festivals

The thesis deals with the analysis of cultural tourism and folklore festivals. Its goal is to characterize cultural tourism and festivals and to evaluate their position in the Czech republic and Slovakia. One part of the thesis deals with the analysis of Folklore Festival Východná and International Folklore Festival Strážnice. In conclusion the SWOT analysis of folklore festivals is conducted, festivals are compared, and measures for the next development are suggested.
Destination Management of Cultural Tourism in Vysočina Region

This Master's Thesis focuses on destination management in Vysočina Region with the accent on cultural tourism aspect. It evaluates the potential of the region and its development by marketing tools and actions of the destination management company. The main method of this evaluation is a market research of the product portfolio in the tourism segment in Vysočina and my own experience from visits to the region. Based on these findings it is then summarized which products are the key ones, which of them are marginal, how it is worked with them, and which products are seen as important and preferential for the future of the destination. The thesis also looks at new forms of cultural tourism, such as diaspora tourism, religious tourism or culinary tourism in the region. Providing the readers with three case studies with SWOT analysis on Bystřicko region, event tourism (Vysočina Arena) and Hospodářský dvůr Bohuslavice it is then evaluated how beneficial their existence is.
New trends in restoring the chateau Křinec

This thesis focuses on trends in the use of castles and chateaus in order to apply the knowledge to the private chateau Křinec. To achieve the aim a combination of primary and secondary research is used. The work is defined by the general definition of tourism, its typology and definitions of cultural tourism. The theoretical part deals with general trends in the tourism sector, cultural tourism sector , the use of castles and chateaus, their property relations and changes. The practical part deals with chateau Křinec, its history, analysis of the current state ,a questionnaire and suggesting a recovery opportunities in the cultural-educational and commercial field.
