Possibilities and limits of co-operation of rural municipalities. Case study of municipalities in the region of the Bohemian Paradise

The presented thesis focuses on the phenomenon of the cooperation of rural municipalities. The cooperative mechanism is one of possible ways for small municipalities to solve problems resulting from their limited financial, material and human resources. The cooperation with neighbouring municipalities or other actors of spatial development allows them to realize projects and activities, that they otherwise could not realize themselves because of the costs or spatial extent of the project or activity beyond their territory. The main objective of the thesis is to classify several types of the cooperation in rural region and to apply these classifications to the model region. First the fundamental theoretical background and external and internal factors affecting the cooperation of municipalities are discussed. Further several classifications of the cooperation were compiled based on theoretical findings and recent research results. As research method, applied in model region, guided interviews with representatives of the selected rural municipalities were chosen. Master plan of the chosen locality in Brada-Rybnicek

The main theme of the Bachelor thesis is a study of the territory with the object in the middle of the historic value of the solution to the territory and neighboring object traditional village buildings. The territory falls under the administration of the protected landscape area of the Bohemian Paradise. It follows from this administration efforts to maintain traditional rural buildings in the area, taking into account the construction has already been exposed, and in particular on the building with historical value. Among the terms of the territory will be the maintenance of the landscape in the area. Will be taken into account on the appearance and arrangement of the neighbouring municipalities. The aim will be to create a functional in this territory of public space to replace the traditional village square. At the same time work will aim to eliminate the consequences of the suburbanizace with the rapid increase in population due to the total population density of the municipality.

An analysis of tourism development in the Bohemian Paradise and its prospects

This Bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of tourism in the Bohemian Paradise
based on selected indicators. Theoretical basis of the thesis provide the information
about the definition, subjects and typology of tourism. Furthemore, the services of tourism and the relationship between tourism and national economy and regional development
are characterized here. Subsequently, there is a closer introduction of a touristic region Bohemian Paradise and selected sights (ruins of the castle Trosky, the watchtower Kozákov and the Museum Škoda Auto). The practical part of the work, via the analysis
of time series, deals with the number of guests in collective accommodation establishments, number of nights spent in these establishments in 2005-2014
and the assessment of prognosis of the future development until 2018. Furthemore,
this part is dedicated to the analysis of the attendance of four selected touristic attractions in 2008-2015. Based on these results, at the end of the thesis there are presented
the most important factors influencing the development of tourism in the Bohemian Paradise together with proposals and recommendation for improving the current situation.

The possibilities of using technical monuments in tourism in the Bohemian Paradise

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of technical sights in tourist industry in the area of the Bohemian Paradise. At the beginning of this thesis tourist industry and its general importance, typology, and factors which affect tourist industry are described. Then tourist industry in the Czech Republic and main problems which restrict its further development are described. The main part of this thesis deals with the characteristics of the Bohemian Paradise and the tourist industry in this particular area. It focuses primarily on technical sights, but it deals with other activities in this are as well. From this characteristics touristic route draft which includes technical monuments in the area of Bohemian Paradise is made.

Impact of rail transport on tourism development in the Czech Republic

The aim of the thesis Impact of rail transport on tourism development in the Czech Republic is the analysis of correlation between rail transport and tourism in the Czech Republic with reference to global trends in this field and proposition of appropriate steps to deeper and more effective cooperation. The first chapter is devoted to definition of rail transport, history of rail transport in the Czech Republic, characterization of the current state of railways in the Czech Republic, position of rail transport on the Czech transport market and use of rail transport in tourism. Second chapter concentrates on analysis of three chosen tourist destinations in terms of the availability of rail. In the last chapter overall situation in this field is analyzed and suggestions for the further development are given.

The Analysis of Film Tourism in the Czech Paradise Destination

This Master thesis deals with the film tourism in the Bohemian Paradise. The main part of the Thesis is focused on the analysis of Bohemian Paradise as a place suitable for film tourism and the evaluation of the offer in the field of film tourism. To achieve these goals was used among others SWOT analysis and the method of benchlearning. The result of the Thesis is finding that in the Bohemian Paradise is the potential for the development of film tourism but it is not used to the maximum. Based on the analysis are presented recommendations for the new products of film tourism which could destination management organization offer in its territory.

Re-evaluace Evropského geoparku UNESCO Český ráj

Re-evaluace zahrnuje hodnocení aktivit Geoparku Český ráj od října 2005 do července 2008. Studie vyhodnocuje dopady a vliv geoparku na přírodní a socioekonomické prostředí. Re-evaluační proces tj. opětovné hodnocení geoparků je běžnou metodou zdokonalování činnosti Sítě evropských geoparků a je prováděn jednou za tři, respektive za čtyři roky. Část A pod názvem "Popis oblasti" obsahuje administrativní část (totožnost žadatele, podpis a základní přehled o hodnoceném území) a identifikaci území rozdělenou do pěti částí: geologie a krajina, struktura managementu, informace a environmentální vzdělávání, geoturismus a trvale udržitelné regionální hospodářství. Část B pod názvem "Hodnocení vývoje geoparku" obsahuje šest kapitol – vztah se Sítí evropských/světových geoparků, struktura managementu a stav financí, strategie ochrany přírody a krajiny (zachování geologického dědictví), strategická spolupráce, marketing a propagace a trvale udržitelný hospodářský rozvoj.

Using the Potencial of Culture and Cultural Infastructure in the Region Bohemian Paradise

The following thesis deals with the cultural heritage of the Bohemian Paradise. Theoretically process the information about the Bohemian Paradise and about the selected cultural monuments. It defines the concepts of cultural infrastructure and cultural potential. The thesis closer focuses on castles, mansions and folk architecture. Further it analysis the cultural infrastructure of area called Turnovsko. An important part of this thesis is the overall evaluation of the cultural potential. The practical part contains a survey among the inhabitants of the Bohemian Paradise.
