Historical development of assessing of real estates
Smolek, Tomáš ; Heřman, Jan (advisor) ; Vosejpka, Jaroslav (referee)
In the theoretical part of my dissertation I deal with historical development of assessing of real estates on the region of current Czech Republic with focus on assessing of family houses. In my practical part I made assessing of concrete family house. This assessing I made at first on administrative way, secondly on market way.

Wireless network management of the smaller internet service provider
Hopian, Martin ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis discusses IT issues of the small WISP. It focuses mainly to the scope of IT services providing. Because of the complication of the network management, providers utilize different types of systems, that provide high level of network management and also saves work-time needed. After the initial observation of the issue I will describe one of the most widespread de facto standard of the IT management -- ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library). This thesis is addressed to only one part of the ITIL library - Service Support. This part provides collection of recommendations how to deal with support of single IT processes and how to support them by the used systems. Next I will describe two Czech Made complex systems that are widely used in the wireless network administration segment. After all I would like to evaluate them in respect to the ITIL utilization.

Lobbying of Czech environmental NGOs in the EU legislature
Zamrazilová, Jitka ; Pospíšilová, Tereza (advisor) ; Máca, Vojtěch (referee)
The aim of my thesis was to find out, if the Czech NGOs are interested in European legislative and if they try to influence it through lobbying. The hypothesis was that the environmental non-governmental sector is very strong and reactive and because Czech Republic joint the European Union two years ago, Czech environmental NGOs try to influence the EU legislative. The conclusion of my thesis is mentioning the results of the study and they are following. Czech environmental NGOs are lobbying through three ways: Ministry of Environment - they try to influence Minister's point of view and to be present on the meetings where is formed the official Czech point of view European Parliament - they try to influence the opinions of the single Deputies of EP, more the Czech ones, but it is possible to find examples of lobbying Deputies from other member states as well European Networks of NGOs - they always help with informing the Czech NGOs about the stadium of the legislative process and they help with their contacts in Brussels I think that the lobbying tendency of Czech environmental NGOs will increase in near future and that the subjects of lobbying process will cooperate closer and deeper. This thesis can serve as a basic study of this new phenomenon to the nongovernmental sector as well as to administration.

Present issues related to the development of small settlements
Vilímová, Dana ; Macháček, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kouřilová, Jana (referee)
This thesis has been focused on the widely discussed - development tendencies in the domain of small settlements in the Czech Republic. The objective of this work is to appraise significance of the main factors influencing situation of these settlements in the developing of habitation system and their economic possibilities with regard to the present and future economic environment. The analysis has been aimed.at the main local factors having impact on this development, above all employment, mobility and territorial utility systems. The general knowledge will be applied to the chosen territorial units in the administrative region Central Bohemia Region, above all to the district Benešov. Methods used in the work: SWOT analysis, research in the explored area, based on interview and also usual methods of statistical analysis, methods used for comparing microregions -- rate of diversification, growth indicators etc.

The city of Zlin in the whirl of political changes during 1899-1914
Škrabala, Petr ; Dobeš, Jan (referee) ; Ebelová, Ivana (advisor)
The main goal of this work was to describe a background of politi cal combat between the so-called clerical and progressive part of population in Zlin in the first decade of 20th century and also to focus on the achievements of the progressive council, led by the mayor Frantisek Stepanek. The town expanded dramatically during this period. Zl in population was suddenly rising and also the importance ofthe town as a natural centre of the region grew in a clo se connection with the economic progress (foundation ofthe Bata Company and other shoemaking firms). The victory of the progressive groups in local election in 1908 was very important as it brought a release of the tension into Zlin' s politi cal life on the one hand and it enlivened the importance of the town as a political, administrative, economic and transport centre on the other hand. It was achieved to establish a district court based in Zlin, the new council was working on improvement of the life standard of Zlin inhabitants. A council power station was built, new roads connecting Zlin with surrounding villages were constructed, a telephone connection was established, a sewerage system was developed and streets in the town were cobbled ... Fundamental steps were taken to start works on a regulation of the Drevnice River and on a local railway...

Complex assessment of fracture properties of cast ferritic steel
Dlouhý, Ivo ; Chlup, Zdeněk ; Kozák, Vladislav ; Holzmann, Miloslav
Complex analysis of fracture behaviour for low carbon manganese steel intended for fabrication of large containers of spent nuclear fuel (SKODA) has been carried out. Two locations, surface layer and central part, of the thick-walled plate have been followed in order to evaluate the material fracture resistance of full-scale cask segment. Fracture toughness data were determined for two different loading rates. Two specimen geometries, standard ones and subsized Charpy type specimens have been applied for the investigation. For dynamic loading two calculation procedures of dynamic fracture toughness determination have been applied, the first one arising from quasistatic approach and the other based on concept of dynamic key curve method. The transferability of results received on the small pre-cracked Charpy specimens was analysed and applied with good results.

LAYERS OF METALS NANOPARTICLES ON VARIOUS SEMICONDUCTORS FOR HYDROGEN DETECTION
Černohorský, Ondřej ; Žďánský, Karel ; Yatskiv, Roman ; Grym, Jan
Metal nanoparticles have many interesting properties which is given by their space restriction. Their large active surface is very well exploited during catalysis. Pd and Pt are metals know for their ability to dissociate molecular hydrogen on single atoms. We prepared Schottky diodes on semiconductors InP, GaN, GaAs, and InGaAs to obtain hydrogen sensor. Method of preparation such diodes is electrophoretic deposition of Pd or Pt nanoparticles from their colloid solution onto semiconductor substrate. Over the layer of nanoparticles, porous metal contact was prepared. Hydrogen molecules are dissociated on these metal nanoparticles and single atom which settles on the interface between metal and semiconductor and they increase or decrease Schottky barrier height. By this method we can measure from 1 ppm H2 in the air, where the current change is over one order of magnitude
