Vašíčková, Tereza ; Polášek, Miroslav (referee) ; Pospíšilová, Marie (advisor)
Analýza diosminu, hesperidinu a rutinu v potravních doplňcích metodou kapilární elektroforézy 5/82 Abstract A method based on capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) with UV detection was developed for simultaneous separation and determination of flavonoids rutin, hesperidin and diosmin. The analysis was performed in a fused-silica capillary with effective length 50 cm, i.d. 50 µm, voltage - 30 kV and 25 o C. UV detection was used at 200 nm, 246 nm and 280 nm. The samples were loaded hydrodynamically at a pressure of 50 mbar for 6 s. A single analysis took less than 6 minutes. The separation was optimized by examining a number of experimental conditions, such as concentration of the electrolytic system, pH, addition of organic solvents and cyclodextrins. The optimal background electrolyte consisted of 35 mM natrium tetraborate with 2.5% of methanol (adjusted to pH* 9.0 with boric acid) and 1.5 mM α-CD. The calibration graphs were linear for both rutin (100.58 - 1005.80 µg/ml; r = 0.9991), hesperidin (90.33 - 903.29 µg/ml; r = 0.9785) and diosmin (45.56 - 455.60 µg/ml; r = 0.9972). Propylparaben was chosen as the internal standard. The method was applied to the assay of the flavonoids in a nutraceutical HEMOSTOP® PROBIO, capsules and characterized by RSD 3,25% (rutin), 4,12% (hesperidin) and 3,98% (diosmin), n...

Modelling of Radiobiological Mechanisms in Cells and Tissues
Hromčíková, Hana
Title: Modelling of radiobiological mechanisms in cells and tissues Author: Hana Hromcikova Department: Institute of Physics of the ASCR, v. v. i. Supervisor: RNDr. Milos Lokajicek, DrSc. Supervisor's e-mail address: lokaj@fzu.cz Abstract: The probabilistic two-stage model of cell inactivation enables to derive the characteristics of DNA damage induction and repair by an- alyzing published experimental survival data. To analyze in detail the cell inactivation effects of different ions at various energies, damage induction and repair processes in seA^eral hamster and human cell lines have been studied. Published survival data for Chinese hamster CHO- Kl cells and their radiosensitive mutants xrs5 irradiated by carbon ions and normal human nbroblasts irradiated by several light ions have been analyzed using the probabilistic two-stage model. The specialattention is paid to studying the cellular repair processes. The comparison with two common used radiobiological models, the Linear quadratic model and the Local Effect Model, will be presented, too. Keywords: irradiation, damage to DNA, cell survival curves, cell repair, radiobiological model

Kaštylová, Klára ; Otáhal, Jakub (advisor) ; Brime, Tufikameni (referee)
Model of cortical focal cerebral ischemia of a rat. Aim: Determine the size of the damage of the cerebral cortex in the adult animal based on the length of irradiation a dose of Bengali red. Methods: An experimental study was conducted on specimens of an adult rat. Focal Cerebral ischemia was induced by the application of Bengali red. Assessment of damage cortex was done descriptively and with a special program has been calculated the size of the lesions which were then individually compared. The results: Demonstrate that the most appropriate parameter for comparison to measure the depth of the lesion lesion. Further shows that the lesion depth is dependent on the duration of irradiation, but not a direct linear relationship. And among the used concentrations of rose bengal were found significant differences. Key words: Focal cerebral ischemia, bengal rose, cerebral cortex, photochemical method Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Different management of for fixed and variable costs with a focus on the analysis and usage of Cost-Volume-Profit analysis
Černický, Marek ; Knapová, Bohuslava (advisor) ; Roun, Vlastimil (referee)
The thesis deals with differentiation of the cost classification on by behaviour, in other words it deals with the fixed and variable costs. Futhermore the thesis describes costing outcoming of this cost classification. A behaviour of costs is reflected in a linear model of costs and revenues and in Cost-Volume-Profit analysis.

Implicit and Explicit Method in nonlinear Dynamics
Vaněčková, Adéla ; Hradil, Petr (referee) ; Němec, Ivan (advisor)
The final thesis „Explicit and Implicit methods in nonlinear dynamics“ deals with the issue of geometrical and physical nonlinear analysis of structures exposed to seismic loading by the methods of direct integration of equations of motion. Solution by the explicit and the implicit method is compared for three material models. While the differences between the results of the explicit method and the implicit Newmark method are small as expected, the differences are substantial between the results of different material models. However, these differences are explained and they are in full concordance with the theoretical assumptions for the pertinent material models. The conclusion of the final thesis is check of correctness of the results of the new module of the program system RFEM for both tested numerical methods and all three analyzed material models. (linear elastic, plastic Drucker-Prager and the Mazars damage model). With sufficient precision of results, both explicit and implicit numerical methods showed to be suitable for seismic analysis. The implicit method can provide several times faster calculation than the explicit one, but the determination of the optimal time step is problematic and time consuming, so the suitability of use of both methods for seismic analysis is comparable.

High school timetabling using multicriteria linear programming
Žítek, Jan ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
The theme of this thesis is high school timetabling. The built mathematical model is based on bivalent programming. The model uses multicriteria linear programming too, because a timetable has to fill legal and school's requests and student's and teacher's wishes. Firstly, there are given theoretical basics. Then there is described economic model with school's characteristics and it continues by mathematical model. For optimization, tool MPL for Windows with using Gurobi. Finally, export of optimization is transferred using VBA to form for end users.
