Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice brownfields. Definuje pojem brownfields a popisuje jeho jednotlivé typy. Dále se zabývá trendy, které tuto problematiku doprovází a zkoumá možné přístupy k řešení brownfields. Součástí je analýza přístupů vybraných zemí k řešení tohoto tématu. Vzhledem k příležitosti čerpání finančních prostředků EU v programovacím období 2007 - 2013, která je České republice přislíbena, analyzuje též možnosti jejich částečného využití v oblasti regenerace brownfields. Poslední část se věnuje rozboru 4 případových studií s nástinem jejich řešení.

Analýza životního cyklu ve společnosti ŠKODAEXPORT a. s.

Předložená práce se věnuje problematice analýzy životního cyklu firmy. Možnost uplatnění závěrů teorie analýzy životního cyklu zde dává předpklad k uvědomění si nutnosti provádět změny, a tak zabránit a případně podstatně oddálit okamžik, který teorie životního cyklu nazývají počátkem fáze poklesu. Pokud se jejímu nástupu již nepodaří zabrání, znalost zásad stále umožňuje tuto ? z hlediska života firmy ? kritickou situaci řešit tak, aby byla nastoupena fáze nová ? vzrůstající. Využití znalostí umožňuje firmě aktivně a včas řídit životní cyklus s cílem dosahování stabilního růstu. Firmy by se tedy měly snažit o aktivní řízení svého životního cyklu!

Equal gender opportunities

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou rovných příležitostí mužů a žen v kontextu postavení žen na trhu práce v EU a ČR. Zabývá se rozdílným postavením žen a mužů na trhu práce, segregací žen do určitých povolání a mzdovými rozdíly mezi oběma pohlavími. Tato práce je rozdělena do čtyř základních kapitol. První kapitola popisuje základní ekonomické teorie, které se věnují problematice rozdílného zacházení mužů a žen na trhu práce. Druhá kapitola vymezuje základní legislativní a institucionální prostředí v EU a ČR. Třetí kapitola charakterizuje zákldní ukazatele na trhu práce v EU a ČR. Poslední kapitola analyzuje příčiny mzdových rozdílů mužů a žen v ČR a hledá možné nástroje na odstranění těchto rozdílů.

Through war to discoveries. Denon’s road to art

This paper analyses the key discourse levels in Voyage dans la Basse et la Haute Égypte, a book by Vivant Denon, a member of the society of scholars and artists that accompanied Napoleon’s military expedition to Egypt. From May 1798 to October 1799 Denon wrote a chronologically incomplete chronicle of the Egyptian campaign, including battles, encounters, pursuits, the horrors of war and the extreme conditions, a chronicle that is concurrently a travelogue journal with the customary topics (inhabitants, mores and customs) and an epic structure (the voyage, obstacles, wanderings and struggles). Moreover, as the author looks around ebes, Luxor, Denderah (Tyntiris) and Aswan, he colourfully and enthusiastically relates the discovery of Egypt, carefully describing and tirelessly drawing. The variety of discourses in Denon’s Travels (e.g. the discourse of war and its heroization, as well as its cruel aspect; the discourse of discoveries and emerging Egyptology; travelogue discourse) gradually takes on the form of the rivalry and conflict of different times.

Chasm and temple. Metaphors of chaos and order in 1870s Czech poetry

The author of this paper goes back to the 1870s, a time in which European society had to deal with a number of challenging situations – for example, a symptom of this intellectual crisis at the time was considered to be the rising tide of suicide. Hence attention is focused here on writers and their reactions to these crisis phenomena, as they had a direct influence through reading on educated members of society, and so\ncould help to create a way to manage these crisis phenomena. Czech poetry output, represented in this study by Jaroslav Vrchlický and Irma Geisslová, also had to deal with these reflections of the pessimistic Weltanschauung during the 1870s. These authors handled this challenge in various ways, their chosen strategy having an impact on the public reception of their works and influencing their subsequent literary careers.

Analysis and comparison of the economic cycle and its particularity for countries of the Visegrad Group in ages 2004 to 2014

This thesis deals with analysis and comparison of the business cycles of the Visegrad Group countries in the period 2004--2014. The subjects of the theoretical part are the phases, length and theoretical perspectives of economics schools to the business cycle. In next part of the theoretical part are descriptions of the macroeconomic indicators, by which the individual countries are analyzed and compared. The theoretical part is dedicated to the Visegrad Group itself. In line with the objective of the thesis, the practical part revealed that the highest and the most stable economic growth is reached by the Polish economy. In contrast, the Hungarian economy scored the worst economic performance during said period. Common problems of economies with high deficit in the current account balances (in which the Hungarian economy, which faced bankruptcy in 2008, is the worst) arise from the data findings. Another common feature of these compared the economics are the public budget deficits, which it negative is reflected in the mount of total public debt. The practical part contains closed prediction of development of each country for the years 2015 and 2016.

Dluhová teorie a politika centrální vlády

Tato práce se soustředí na problematiku dluhové teorie a politiky centrální vlády. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá různými přístupy ekonomických škol ke kreaci dluhu a jeho složení. Součástí je i osvětlení pojmů vztahujících se k dluhové problematice. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na definici metodických přístupů, jež jsou v České republice používány. Pozornost je dbána především na vztah přístupu k dluhu z hlediska ESA 95 a EDP. Třetí kapitola se již soustředí na samotné časové řady vládního dluhu i vládního deficitu v letech 1995 - 2006. Zmíněn je i vliv podmíněných závazků státu a transformačních institucí na vládní dluh i na vývoj v ČR vůbec. Kapitola je uzavřena krátkým srovnáním vládních dluhů i deficitů v rámci EU.

Pachatel trestné činnosti v ekonomice

Práce se zabývá vývojem počtu pachatelů obecně, pachateli z řad mladistvých, cizinců a policistů. U pachatelů mladistvých, cizinců a policistů je věnována pozornost specifikům kriminality těchto skupin. Pojednáno je o problematice mezinárodního srovnání pachatelů a o kriminogenetických teoriích, které vysvětlují, proč se pachatelé dopouštějí trestné činnosti. Důraz je kladen na biologické, psychologické a sociální kriminogenetické teorie.

City logistika - aplikace ve městě Plzni

Cílem této práce je podat ucelený výklad o problematice city logistiky v ?klasickém? pojetí zaměřujícím se na optimalizaci zásobovacího procesu ve městě s ohledem na specifické vnější marginální podmínky včetně charakteristiky technologií využívaných v rámci city logistiky a technických požadavků na dopravní prostředky a přepravní jednotky, následně aplikovat city logistiku koncipovanou v poněkud netradičním ?širším? pojetí zahrnujícím nástroje v oblasti nákladní dopravy, dopravy osob, ochrany území a dopravní telematiky do prostředí města Plzně a zhodnotit dosažené úspěchy projektu city logistiky v této západočeské metropoli včetně vymezení problémových oblastí vyžadujících další aktivity, a tím vyvolat potřebnou diskusi na dané téma v prostředí městské a krajské samosprávy za účelem postupného prosazování jednotlivých opatření v praxi.

Management of a film festival and its specifics

This Master thesis explores the area of film festivals. The first section describes the film festivals and their categorization. For a better comprehension of the issues part of the work is dedicated to the general and Czech history of film festivals. The work is focused on the interest groups and their impact on the functioning of film festivals. The current situation is analyzed through a selected case of the International Film Festival Karlovy Vary. All program activities are analyzed. The work describes the processes that take place during the organization of the film festival and also explores its internal and external conditions. It presents the structure of the organization team and summarizes responsibilities of its positions.
