Sound Design for 360-Degree Videos

The main theme of this work is the creation of sound for 360 ° videos. The work discusses the area of spatial sound and focuses mainly on the whole process of creating from recording through mix, master to sharing. Furthermore, the scene is designed, a complete recording and processing is performed, a detailed procedure is described and sample tasks are created for further use.

Remote temperature monitoring system

This project describes the design of a system for remote temperature monitoring of stored a more commodities quantity for the horse-breeding. The main task of this system is the early alert before the fire developed to the spontaneous combustion and continuous monitoring of the quality and safety this commodities. The main module communicates with several autonomous temperature sensors, which are located in multiplie locations. The measured values can be stored on an internal memory, displayed on the display and transmitted with the Ethernet network to the client computer, where it is possible this temperatures to view with in the user program and graphs.

The Noise Database

n semestral thesis proposed a system for recording acoustic signals, which in this case presented a concrete noise, and I have been tested software has to improve the quality of recorded samples. This system consists of several blocks, such as signal pre-processing blocks, to formulate requirements for the improvement of recordings, such as sampling frequency and bit resolution. The first step is therefore to establish settings for the recording device. Then followed the reprocessing of signals such as filtration and separation.

MultiCopter Design

In my work, I focused on the design of an electric multicopter for common and advanced users. The main objective was to bring a simple practical solution to the dron, which will correspond to the current functional and aesthetic standards of industrial design in the aircraft industry. Whole concept of the dron is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. Thanks to its simplicity, small dimensions and dron structure, it takes a minimal transport space and is almost instantly ready for use.

Recording at studio from comprehensive and educational perspective of interpreteur (at Sono Records)

The work deals with the preparation of recording and recording itself. It is intended for beginning musicians. It is divided into two basic parts, which are divided into other smaller compartments. The first part focuses on preparation for recording and discusses the selection of materials, solving various points such as lyrics, music, instrument preparation and other tasks. It also focuses on the selection of the recording studio and in which cases is suitable to use a work of producer. It also describes work of producers in Czech Republic. Part of it is also dedicated to the distribution, promotion, and financial aspects of the recording. Last but not least, it is trying to explain how to plan the whole project. It relies primarily on sources arising from consultations, as this issue is not sufficiently covered in the literature. The second part deals with recording. It is focused on the recording process of the band and at the same time shows the peculiarities of the interpretation at studio. The chapters contains examples of interesting recording techniques and comparisons of recording in the Czech Republic and abroad. Multimedia Grid

The thesis describes the possibilities and issues of existing videoconferencing systems. We focus on open-source solutions for group-to-group communication especially the AccessGrid technology that utilizes the multicast packet delivery method of multimedia content. We describe AccessGrid node created for CIANT organization, which has been taken as a starting point for defining the architecture of a videoconferencing system based exclusively on open-source components, particularly Linux and related software. We address issues related to firewalls and NAT traversal and provide a comparison of various videoconference-related codecs and protocols. Finally, the text touches the question of recording and archiving of conference sessions and provides a new integrated recording application -- StreamVNC. The tool allows users to prepare their presentations using localhost recording facility which includes AGVCR for recoding RTP packets, EVIC for grabbing the VNC display and camera source and RAT as an audio encoder.

Modification of Vocal Tracks in SW Post-Production of Music

This thesis describes a design and an implementation of a vocal tracks processing application. The application consists of several sub-modules representing audio processors and effects. It is implemented as a plugin created with the VST technology. The plugin provides a simple control system and an integrated database of presets which help mainly less experienced users to significantly speed up the process of processing the vocal tracks. The user evaluation shows that application is successful both in creating demos and professional mixing of music tracks.
