A design of the system for continous evaluation of analytical samples quality in a clinical biochemistry laboratory
SVATOŠOVÁ, Kristýna
The aim of my work is to provide information about the process of evaluating analytic quality of samples. This kind of process is recommended in clinic biochemistry laboratory at present. Serum indexes are measured always, in any required sample test whose result can be influenced by sample quality. It is possible to evaluate the degree of haemolysis, icterus and lipemia in patients´ blood samples by the photometric method. The sample haemolysis is mostly caused by bad technic of blood samples taking or their inappropriate transport so that in the end of this process, in regular intervals there is a possibility to find out the level of results changes in connection with concrete laboratory services users. In theoretical part of my work I describe reasons of sample quality decreasing in vivo that´s something people can´t influence because they originate in a patient´s body and in vitro that are caused by wasteful manipulation. In this part there are also principles of the photometrical methods mostly used. The practical part contains the model example that shows how the analyts can be influenced by artificial adding of interfering substances. I could see increasing of some element concentration after making evaluation: Concentration of K increased by 24%, Fe by 10%, bilirubin by 13% and enzymatic activity ALT by 23%, AST by 179%, GMT by 26% and ALP was reduced by 25% in haemolytic serum. In icteric and lipemic serum there isn´t interference on such high level. Icterus causes decreasing of urea by 17%, creatinine by 27%, enzymatic activity ALT by 10% and activity GMT is increased by 11%. Lipemia decreases concentration of creatinine by 8%, enzymatic activity ALT by 6% and bilirubin is higher by 21%. In the end of my work I introduce statistic conclusion laboratory informatics system that gives laboratory management possibility to find out samples of bad quality in connection with concrete applicants and help to make some reparation.
Principles of Bahá'í Faith in the Context of Other Religions. Case Study Townshend International School
KOLAROVÁ, Soňa
Townshend International School is a grammar school for students from all over the world where moral principles are applied based on the Bahá'í Faith. The purpose of this work is to discuss the extent of the impact of the Bahá'í Faith on students of other religions beliefs or atheistic students and how daily life is affected by it. Object of the study is the small group of students last year of school.
Mathematics in Physics
BLAŽEK, Jiří
The presented work deals with mathematical tools, which are used to describe harmonic oscillations and waves in secondary schools. Harmonic quantities are most frequently represented as projections of rotating symbolic vectors ? phasors, nevertheless most attention is paid to representation of harmonic quantities by complex numbers. It is shown that both these methods are in fact formalized methods of solution of differential-algebraic equations, describing relevant physical phenomena. All these approaches are applied simultaneously and compared to each other during solution of model examples. The work is primarily intended for teachers of physics in secondary schools and for students of physics of pedagogical faculties.
Impact of Pupils' Acquired Knowledge of English on Their Writing in German
MIKULÁŠKOVÁ, Michaela
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to prove the impact of pupil?s acquired knowledge of English on their writing in German. In the theoretical part the historical development of both languages is shown with the emphasis on such historical events that determined this development. It is because of these events that each language developed in a different way. In the next chapter both languages are compared and the most important differences are pointed out. Next chapters are about Anglicisms in German, multilingualism and transfer, on this basis information are transferred from one language to another. The topic of last chapter in this part is ?error?. The practical part supports the theoretical knowledge gained by languages-comparing in a practical situation. On the basis of the corrections of upper primary school level German essays with the emphasis on the errors caused by the interference for English the practical part presents not only interesting results gained from many points of view, it also proves the impact of pupil?s acquired knowledge of English on their writing in German. Subsequently, the particular language areas are presented in which this type of errors was the most common. The authentically chosen errors are also commented on. The last part of the work includes various kinds of didactic material that can be used by such teachers of the German language who want to prevent this type of mistakes in their lessons.
Lexical non-equivalency as a negative interference in acquiring Spanish.
HORTVÍKOVÁ, Eva
The aim of this thesis is to define the lexical units that are most vulnerable to the interference caused by lexical nonequivalence between Czech and Spanish vocabulary. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. In the theoretical part the author introduces the issue of lexical nonequivalence in general and on the basis of the studied literature creates a linguodidactic classification of lexical nonequivalence. Specific cases of lexical nonequivalence are identified and explained in the practical part of the thesis based on an analysis of Spanish vocabulary of the textbooks Aventura 1,2, Nuevo Ven 1 and Nuevo Ven 2 (the first 8 lessons), which corresponds to the second stage of basic education, ie up to level B1. The interference caused by lexical nonequivalence is identified on the basis of the author´s own experience in teaching Spanish, therefore, both spoken and written expression of students are submitted to analysis.
Notes to multistage Wiener filter in DS-CDMA detector
Šimša, Jan
The contribution follows report oriented towards design of Wiener filter in DS-CDMA detector of signals as a multistage structure. Such approach avoids evaluation of the inverse of a known autocorrelation matrix of a sampled response of the chip matched filter to a wide-sense stationary input signal. The contribution gives more detailed description of detector signal processing and its consequences.
Identifying Specific Pronunciation Errors Produced by Czech Learners of English as a Foreign Language\nl\nl Diagnostika specifických chyb českých studentů angličtiny ve výslovnosti
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Eva
This diploma thesis concentrates on typical pronunciation errors faced by intermediate Czech learners of English, specifically on word stress and reduction of unstressed syllables (weak forms). In order to analyse these aspects, a project was designed based on recording a sample of 33 first-year English language students at the Pedagogicka fakulta in Ceske Budejovice, and a survey was conducted on the learners? attitudes and experiences in pronunciation learning. Two types of speech were recorded (reading an unseen text and spontaneous oral expression) and subsequently analysed. As the Czech language has a different system of word stress and the reduced forms do not exist, it was presumed that interference will be detected from the mother tongue in the field of word stress and there will be prevalence of the strong forms of grammatical words.
Anthropological perspective of female circumcision
RYBOVÁ, Nela
The work deals with topic of female circumcision from aspect of cultures using it. The first chapter is concerned with general information such as definition of the term, typology, health consequences, sexual sensibility of women after the operation and prevalence of this practics in the world. The second chapter describes various reasons for performing of female genital cutting that come from setting of social life, myths and conceptions. The first part of the second chapter introduces different speculative vari-ants of origin of female circumcision, the last part is about connection between FGC and religion. The third section foreshadows current debates and question of interference with practising of female circumcision, thus effort to eradicate it.
The main mistakes in grammar of the German learning Czechs
VÁVROVÁ, Lenka
ABSTRACT Grammar mistakes of the German learning Czechs The thesis is focused on morphological and syntax mistakes of German learning Czechs. The most important definitions, classifications and sources of mistakes are summarized in the first part. In the next part are systematically described the concrete mistakes of Czechs, as well as their sources, mainly the linguistic interferences between and within languages. The last part contains authentic texts written in German by Czech students or pupils. The grammar mistakes in the texts are marked and analyzed.
