This master’s thesis contents the description and analysis of an information system of company which provides consumer and cash loans. The information system is a key component for that company. On the basis of analysis possible changes will be proposed. These changes should lead to increase in efficiency of the information system and in profit production as well as decrease of costs and risks connected to development and implementation of higher versions of system.

This thesis deals with corporate information system. Main aim is to propose measures to adapt the information system of a small company in order to improve business processes and increase overall efficiency. The thesis is separated to three parts. In theoretic part describes the most important section of the analysis of information systems. Analytic part are detected real state and problems and in next part are the recommendations on improvement specific proposals.

This diploma thesis is focused on corporate information systems. It contains an analysis of current status of the information system in company, which uses e-commerce as its main scope of business. There is a proposed solution based on the analysis, which should contribute to an improvement of the information system itself. The proposed solution includes schedule and price calculation of the project as well.

This master's thesis deals with analysis and selection of a new information system for a small company Výtahy – Elektro Žižka, s.r.o., which is engaged in manufacturing, reconstructing, and with revision of elevators. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse current condition of company’s hardware and software equipment and eventually suggest some possible improvements. Furthermore the thesis deals with main business processes according to which the information system will be chosen. Based on these changes, the time and financial plan will be formed.

This master´s thesis contains an explanation of basic terms and principals used in an issue of information systems. Part of this master´s thesis is analyses of a current state of an information system in a selected company and evaluation of its effectiveness. A set of improvement propositions of the current state was created based on those analyses with both balance and effectiveness of an IS taken into account.

It also aims to optimize the information system to perfectly cover the demands that are placed upon it.
