Demans put on nurses work when providing nursing care on hemodialysis department.
KADLEČKOVÁ, Aneta
Abstrakt In our Bachelor Diploma Work we dealt with the problems of the difficult of the work of nurses in the department of haemodialysis. We have chosen this topic because of the growing higher demands made on the nurses. It can be said that the profession of a nurse is very demanding, they are even jeopardized both by the psychological and physical influences. Because of that there are several advices the nurses should know and observe them. The professional literature encourages the nurses in the department of haemodialysis to find at lest a short moment to learn how to rest and to relax. Unfortunately it is not like that in reality. In the theoretical part we focused on the haemodialysis characteristics, on its indications, contra-indications, on the nursing care in this department and naturally on the psychological and physical impacts on the nurses in the department of haemodialysis. For the research investigation I used a semi-structured discussion. It contained 21 questions, the nurses had to answer. The data collection took place during March 2009. The total numer of enquired nurses was 16. The topic was based on the three targets. To find out what demands have been made on the treatment care for the patiens in the department of haemodialysis, to find out, what impact the care has on nurses in the department of haemodialysis and to find out whether the nurses in the department of haemodialysis suffer from the burn-out syndrome. Based on my Bachelor Diploma Work we would like to organize a seminary for the nurses, working in the department of haemodialysis, focused on the burn-out syndrome and correct relaxation.
Methods of handling of rather less self-sufficient and non-self-sufficient clients in residential houses for elderly persons in the Region of South Bohemia
ČÁPOVÁ, Pavlína
Handling of clients is an integral part of everyday work of most of nurses. It constitutes also the largest physical load for nurses. Correctly conducted handling of a client and usage of handling aids reduces both the physical load for nurses and the risks of nurses{\crq} injuries sustained in relation with handling. As far as clients are concerned, the risks connected with handling are reduced and the comfort of the nursing care is increased then. Handling includes positioning, shifting, lifting to chairs and verticalisation. Correct handling of a client allows prevention of the complications resulting from immobility and thus also maintenance and even renewal of a client{\crq}s self-sufficiency. The bachelor thesis themed ``Methods of handling of rather less self-sufficient and non-self-sufficient clients in residential houses for elderly persons in the Region of South Bohemia{\crqq} has a research character. It is divided into two parts {--} a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part is focused on old-age, self-sufficiency, immobility and handling of clients. The practical part consists of a quantitative research conducted by a questionnaire method, in which we attempt to confirm the raised hypotheses. H1: Nursing staff has no practical experience in the area of handling of clients. H2: Residential houses for elderly persons are not sufficiently equipped with handling aids. H3: Nursing staff in residential houses for elderly persons does not require changes in the established manner of handling of clients. Nurses in residential houses for elderly persons in the Region of South Bohemia obtained 150 questionnaires, of which 126 were returned, i.e. 84 %. The final set of regularly filled out questionnaires for the research consisted of 108 questionnaires. The objective of the thesis is to ascertain the level of knowledge and practical experience of nurses in the area of handling of clients, and to ascertain and compare the manners of utilization of technical aids and equipment facilitating handling in residential houses for elderly persons in the Region of South Bohemia. The results of the thesis should redound to more regardful, comfortable and considerate handling of rather less and non-self-sufficient clients in residential houses for elderly persons, and facilitate the work of nursing staff in terms of their own health.

The work is dealing with the drinking habits in the recreational form of fit-boxing. The specifics of the drinkling habits are thoroughly described in the theoretical part of the work. The characteristics during heavy physcial endurance as well as the importance of drinking habits are defined here. The drinking habits of active fit-boxers is monitored in the practical part. These habits are then compared with a group of non-active people with sitting or non-movement jobs. From the practical examination it is obvious that those active involved in the fit-boxing have higher consumption of liquids and superior drinking habits with comparison to the group which is non-active.

SCHAFFELHOFEROVÁ, Lucie
Abstract The occupation of a nurse belongs to those most responsible, most exhausting but most humanist professions. A nurse searches, addresses problems of patients and seeks for solutions together with other health care staff. However attention has to be paid on nurses themselves, as demands on nurse profession are still growing at present, which brings higher negative stress, felt not just by nurses, but by all employees of health care facilities. The theoretical part of this thesis includes observation from the České Budějovice Hospital, general information about the profession of a nurse, like for example competences of nurses, their education or registration. The next part deals with physical as well as physical stress. The theoretical part is closed by a chapter on motivation. The research was performed in compliance with the Nursing Care Quantification Method at the After care ward of the České Budějovice Hospital. My work was aimed at finding the level of load on nurses and their subsequent performance, and assessment of the number of nursing staff missing at the 2nd after-care ward of the Hospital České Budějovice a.s. There were three hypotheses set down. Hypothesis 1 confirms that the load of a nurse of the 2nd after-care ward of Sector B of the Hospital in České Budějovice is at least 500 minutes per nurse. Hypothesis 2 confirms that the performance of a nurse of the 2nd after-care ward of Sector B of the Hospital in České Budějovice is at least 130 per cent. And Hypothesis 3 has confirmed that there should be at least three more staff members at the morning shift at the 2nd after-care ward of Sector B of the Hospital in České Budějovice. The research result show that the nurses on the after-care ward are strongly overloaded. The findings of the work will be handed over to the Nursing Care Manager of the České Budějovice Hospital as a tool for optimization of personnel policy at the after-care ward.

Řehulková, Oliva ; Řehulka, Evžen
The research of the stress situations in adolescents (secondary school) and teachers´perception of these situations is described in this study. In regard to professional knowledge of psychology in teachers, we didn´t expect great differences between the manifested stress in adolescents and teachers´perception of that. The result has been confirmed, as the teachers don´t estimate stress from the partner relationships and conflicts with the teachers and they overestimate stress from the study activity.
