Marunová, Eva ; Herczeg, Jiří (advisor) ; Gřivna, Tomáš (referee)
Unstoppable development in every area of life which brings an innovative methods, implements and forms has been an inherent part of the evolution of society for a long time now. Accordingly, the field of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters with phased pressure on the integrating procedures within the framework of the European Union, with the development of international relations between the Member States, and with increased rate of criminal activity exceeding the implementation of free movement of persons within the European Union has been made to reflect introduction of new mechanisms. The main task of such mechanisms is repressing organised crime and cross-border criminal activities, and also protection of fundamental rights of individuals who are suspected of commiting an offence. One of these mechanisms is the European arrest warrant, relatively new legal instrument to which is my diploma work devoted to. This instrument of criminal law based on the principle of mutual recognitions in criminal matters represents not just a symbol of mutual confidence for the Member States reflecting in their systems of criminal justice, but also some achievement of philosophical purpose in integrating aspects or rather ambitions in the field of judicial cooperation in criminal matters. It is...

Title: Systematic Review of Researches Testing Movement and Body Techniques in the Treatment of Eating Disorders. Goal: The goal of this research is to organize the knowledge of past therapeutic researches and cross- connect this knowledge gained through experiments for the benefit of daily psychotherapeutic work and future researches. Methods: The design of the study follows the design of Systematic Review, which carries the highest evidence in the hierarchy of scientific evidence, and which offers the strongest knowledge for practical use. In this research were included studies testing Movement and Body Techniques on samples of patients with Eating Disorders and which were published in English till the year 2008. Results: This research confirms that for the treatment of eating disorders, therapies using body and movement oriented techniques have been used, tested and published since 1970. By the end of the year 2008 there are 41 published researches in the English language. The evidence-based quality of the researches in this field is very good. In 59% of the studies, the strength of the evidence reaches the third of four levels of scientific evidence. The studies included in the review, show that the treatments under discussion have positive effects in the healing of eating disorders. The study also...

Companies in private international law
Hubinský, Igor ; Brodec, Jan (advisor) ; Dobiáš, Petr (referee)
60 Resume (Corporations in Private International Law) Free cross-border movement of companies became a new challenge for the European Law in last 30 years and surely changed the old theorems of private international law, concerning the companies at least. Although it is exactly the companies who are the most important factor shaping the European economy, legislature has not paid much attention and did little to facilitate their cross-border transfer. Under those circumstances, it has been the European Court of Justice (today Court of Justice of European Union) who has played the crucial role in interpreting the rights the European citizens under the Treaty should enjoy. But performing this enormously difficult task and under the scrutiny of European legal commentators it often got criticism, mostly for the inconsistency in his approach to construction of articles regarding the freedom of establishment. In my work I focused on the most relevant cases and attempted to point out underlying arguments in Court's reasoning. I tried not to set its judicature in debate over traditional issues regarding connecting factors since I think that question of freedom of establishment in European context should move to slightly different area of law. Nevertheless few pages of my work are devoted to these issues, where I...

Evaluating the Determining Factors of Income Inequality across the US States
Petruš, Dávid ; Bartoš, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kovanda, Lukáš (referee)
What explains the development of inequality in the United States after the World War II? Which factors contribute to the evolution? A growing inequality is a phenomenon caused by rather secular factors, such as growing demand for skills, though short-run, time-specific factors can explain some of the difference too. This thesis summarizes some of the most prominent works in the field of economic inequality and provides additional evidence by analyzing the recent data. Further parts provide a cross-sectional analysis of US counties, congressional districts, and states and seeks to evaluate the key factors related with income inequality measured by Gini coefficient. The distribution of education and human capital are among the most important factors in both time-series and cross-sectional analysis.

Simulated accident of car lifting defined chemical substance in defined city
TLUŠŤÁK, Kamil
The aim of this diploma thesis is to simulate a road accident of a vehicle carrying a chosen dangerous chemical substance in a chosen city. We chose a crash site based on statistical inquiry of the number of road accidents. We chose a chemical substance by analyzing substances used in the vicinity of the chosen city. Through the use of simulation, we described and created a proposition of solving the arose extraordinary event, for the components of Emergency Service units. After completing these objectives, it will be possible to answer the research question: What kind of jeopardy does the leakage of a chosen chemical substance represent, during transportation in a chosen town? The theoretical part firstly focuses on basic terms that we worked with in the thesis. Basic legislative fixing point of dangerous objects and substances is described. Also, European and interstate regulations about transportation of these things is described. European agreement ADR is separately described further away. In the next part, manipulation with dangerous substances and mixtures is described as it is shown in Enactment EP and Council No. 1272/2008/ES, or the enactment of CLP. The characteristics determining their hazardousness, the way of evaluation and classification of dangerous substances and mixtures into corresponding categories is also described. Separately described are ways of packaging and numbering these substances. In the last part, we described the making of a safety list about chemical substances and mixtures, with an emphasis on the information about their transportation. In the next part we described the transportation of dangerous objects and substances on the highway. Further away we described appropriateness and demands for transportation of dangerous substances, for example demands on choosing vehicle personnel, the transportation itself and the equipment that every vehicle must have. We described the risks related with transportation and planning routes for transporting dangerous substances and objects. The aim of the assessments and precautions above are to minimalize risks related to transportation of dangerous substances and thus make it relatively safe. Unfortunately, this is not absolutely possible. This was also found to be true in the empirical part of the thesis, in which we carried out an analysis of the statistics of road accidents of vehicles in the ADR mode, and we found that the human factor is indeed the cause of these accidents. It was proven that 94% of all the road accidents of vehicles in the ADR mode was caused by the driver of the vehicle.Further away, the number of Emergency Service units interferences in cases of dangerous substance leakage and procedures carried out during those interferences, are described. In the empirical part of the thesis, we described methods of choosing the crash site and the dangerous substance. As a crash site we chose highway I/49 in Zlín county, that is evaluated as a highway of medium risk of road accidents, on the road risk map of Czech Republic. More accurately, cross-road of Třída Tomáše Bati and Březnická street in Zlín. When choosing the right substance we conducted an analysis of chemical substance usage in Zlín county. Subsequently we chose aqueous solution of ammoniac, which is being transported on the highway I/49 by two companies. It is prepared in IBC containers with the volume of 1000 liters. Acquired data was used for simulation, evaluation of the extraordinary event and for choosing the number of individuals in jeopardy. The simulation was executed using the TerEx software. Subsequently, the proposal for dealing with the extraordinary event by the Emergency Service units was developed. Based on the executed simulation, it is possible to assess that transportation of dangerous substances and mixtures constitutes a great danger in the residential area with a high number of habitable and administrative buildings.

The role of competition and interest rate on over-indebtedness in the microfinance Industry
Binney, Othniel
The main aim of the paper is to determine the role of competition and high interest rate on customer over-indebtedness. Over-indebtedness here defined, from a customer-protection perspective, as continuously struggling with debt repayment and experiencing unacceptable sacrifices related to the debt. To achieve this, a total of ten microfinance firms were selected from the study area, as well as 85 microfinance customers using a random and cross-sectional collection of data. Analysis of the data showed that even though there is a high level of competition among the microfinance firms, this has not exerted any downward pull on interest rates charged to benefit customers. Secondly, clients are more concern about repayment regimes and prevailing macroeconomic conditions than the interest charged on loans. Customer characteristics such as employment status and financial literacy were found to be directly related to possibility of over-indebtedness. Finally the study noted that interest rates of microfinance firms in Ghana have been steadily declining, even the though county has one of the highest microfinance interest rates in the world.

Vexation at highschools in Kroměříž county
VITOŠOVÁ, Andrea
ABSTRACT In today´s world chicane becomes more pronounced term and is considered to be the most significant negative aspect of current school system. In addition unlike chicane in the past today is displays more alarming features. That includes in particular increasing number of chicane occurrence in schools, lower age of offenders and increased aggressivity and brutality of such behaviour. Chicane is a complex and cross-society problem. And it is defined as any behaviour with the intention to harm somebody repeatedly, threaten or intimidate other student or group of students. This intentional violence is focused on individuals or groups of students who don{\crq}t know how or cant defend themselves for whatever reason. It includes physical attacks in form of beating, extortion, robberies, damaging of property of others as well as verbal attacks in form of invectives, aspersions, assault or humiliation. It may also have the form of sexual harassment or even sexual abuse. Chicane occurs also indirectly as notable neglecting or ignoring of a student or students by the teacher or other group of students. Danger of chicane is based mainly on its severity, long term effect and related consequences for mental and physical health. These are the reasons why chicane must not be neglected and underestimated. The purpose of this diploma work is to map occurrence and severity of chicane in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž district. In my opinion this objective has been achieved. The research objective was to prove or disprove the following hypothesis: H1: Chicane occurs in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž district. H2: Most of chicane cases are not of severe character in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž district. H3: Most of chicane offenders also display discipline problems. H4: Boys are more often chicane offenders than girls. The H1 hypothesis has been proved. 66 % of students in secondary vocational schools in Kroměříž ever experienced chicane and 21 % of students experience chicane in their current school. The H2 hypothesis has been proved. Chicane is not of severe character. The most common form of chicane is verbal attacks, humiliation and aspersions. The H3 hypothesis has been disproved. The research did not prove that chicane offenders also display discipline problems. The H4 hypothesis has been proved. The result of the research conclude that boys are more often chicane offenders, in 60% of cases. In addition the research pointed out the problem of chicane reporting and solving. Chicane often remains unreported or is reported but not addressed. As concerns the chicane abatement issue in secondary schools, also 8 % of students is of the opinion that their school effectively addresses chicane and less than 61 % of student does not even know if their schools are addressing this problem at all. Therefore I would recommend to schools to pay more attention to communication with students about this socially pathological problem and take preventive measures.

The most commonly used legal form are associations, foundations or endowment funds, church or religious society and nowadays non public benefit corporations. Their work and contribution to the functioning of the IRS is not negligible. These components solves all the problems with using external intervention through the commander, or the Firefighter's Rescue Squad (hereinafter referred to as FRS) region and its Regional Operational and Information Centre (hereinafter KOPIS). The investigated subjects had a valid agreement by the arrangement were ready to meet her in that range. From the side view of the IRS, either FRC or other components, is not put forward any request to supplement subjects. All areas of the MU solutions are covered and adequately safeguarded.
