The depiction of the interpretation of Mihály Babits's novel A Gólyakalifa
Radoňová, Lucie ; Kolmanová, Simona (advisor) ; Grendel, Lajos (referee)
This thesis explores the main important possibilities of interpretations of the Mihaly Babits's novel "A Gólyakalifa". I was interested in discovering the view the author takes and the main influences that affect him during the creation of this novel. The central part of the study comprises analyse of the novel "A Gólyakalifa". Than I am trying to explain the composition of the task. Considering the questions of the setout of time and place, the shape of dispatching, the structure of the text. In the next part I am trying to confront the novel with one task from the Hungarian and one task from the world's literature. I have chosen to focus in my dissertation Oscar Wilde's book called The picture of Dorian Gray and Kosztolányi Dezs's novel Esti Kornél. In both of mentioned novels we can find a resemblance with Kalif's world, based on using the alter ego's world. An alter ego is a second self, a second personality or persona within a person, who is often oblivious to the persona's actions. It was coined in the early nineteenth century when dissociative identity disorder was first described by psychologists. A person with an alter ego is said to lead a double life. It is more than evident that Mihaly Babits was impressed with Sigmund Freud's new theory about dream interpretations. So that is why I am including...

Food allergy in patients elder than 14 years with atopic dermatitis - clinical significance of certain immunological parameters
Čelakovská, Jarmila ; Ettler, Karel (advisor) ; Bystroň, Jaromír (referee) ; Dastychová, Eliška (referee)
Food allergy is now recognized as a worldwide medical problem, as food allergy prevalence is gradually increasing. The importance of food allergy in children with atopic eczema, especially during first three years of life, was confirmed by extensive studies. Up to now, studies dealing with food allergy in adult patients suffering from atopic eczema, are rare. It was shown that severe eczema could be worsened by pollen related foods in studies with limited number of patients. However, the significance of food allergy to common food allergens (cow milk, wheat, soy, egg) in adult patients with atopic eczema is very likely underestimated. The aim of our study was to follow the occurence of food allergy to cow milk and wheat flour, respectively, and to evaluate the clinical value of atopy patch test, elimination diet, and other diagnostic methods in the diagnostic work - up of food allergy in patients with atopic eczema over 14 years of age compared to double - blind, placebo controlled food challenge, which is considered as a gold standard in diagnostic work - up of food allergy. Food allergy to cow milk and wheat flour was confirmed in five patients (3,4 %) from 149 patients enrolled to this study (in one patient simultaneously to cow milk and wheat, in four patients to wheat) by double - blind,...

Comprehensive care of person with Alzheimer's disease
ŘEHOŘOVÁ, Andrea
The thesis deals with the comprehensive care for a person with Alzheimer`s disease. As the population gets old, also the number of people with Alzheimer{\crq}s disease has been growing. Pursuant the survey, approx. 5 % population in the age of 65 years suffers from the middle up to high degree of dementia; thereof the Alzheimer{\crq}s disease represents 50{--}60 %. Its frequency roughly doubles every five years. Alzheimer{\crq}s disease is approximately the fourth most frequent cause of all the death cases. The main goals is to find out the extent of knowledge of lay public about Alzheimer{\crq}s disease in the South Bohemian region. Hereby we mean the information about the care, possibilities of healing, symptoms and prevention of Alzheimer{\crq}s disease. In connection with these goals the H1 hypothesis was postulated: The lay public was informed of Alzheimer{\crq}s disease. For achieving the given goal, the method of questioning, the technology of the questionnaire was used. 280 questionnaires were distributed among the persons older than 18 years and they were returned in 86 %. In total, 241 questionnaires were filled in, thereof 230 were filled in correctly and also evaluated. As the most important questions for confirming or not confirming the hypothesis the author determined questions concerning the knowledge of the AD treatment, AD symptoms, knowledge of facilities, consulting centre as well as other activities for the people with AD, occurrence of AD and forms of treatment. It followed from the results that H1 hypothesis was not confirmed. Two partial targets were postulated for the given issue for the completeness sake. The first partial target was to describe the medically social issue of Alzheimer{\crq}s disease including its impact on all the spheres of the life of man: i.e. biological, psychological as well as social spheres. The second partial goal concerned the survey of services for persons with Alzheimer{\crq}s disease and their families in the South Bohemian Region. This thesis may be utilized in future as source of information about Alzheimer{\crq}s disease for the students of Faculty of Health and Social Studies in České Budějovice and for persons from the lay public who would like to learn more of Alzheimer{\crq}s disease.

Confrontation of the awareness of future graduate and undergraduate paramedical workers in České Budějovice of the risks inherent in sexually transmitted diseases.
FÜRSTOVÁ, Romana
Sexuality is an inseparable part of life. Apart from natural reproduction processes it enables us to deepen our relationship with a beloved person and makes it possible to share positive feelings. Unfortunately it also brings various undesirable phenomena into our lives {--} for example unwanted pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases (STD). For this reason I chose STD as a topic of my bachelor thesis. The sample for my survey consisted of future paramedical workers with secondary and university education , i.e. the students of medical subjects at the Secondary Health Care School in České Budějovice and the Faculty of Health and Social Studies of the University of South Bohemia. For them the risk of STD infection is double {--} not only in their personal life but also in terms of their future profession. Due to the fact that the topic is rather delicate, the survey was carried out on the basis of anonymous questionnaires. The questions were partly focused on concrete STD and the originator, incubation period or vaccination, and partly also on STD-related general facts. The objective of my bachelor thesis was to compare the awareness of future paramedical workers studying at the secondary school and at the university. After setting this objective I specified two hypotheses. The first hypothesis was as follows: Paramedics with university education are more aware of the threat of STD than those with secondary education. This hypothesis proved to be true. The second hypothesis: Students of medical subjects at the secondary school as well as the university are informed about a non-sexual way of STD transmission. This hypothesis was proved only among the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies but not among the students of the secondary school.

In the second part of the first chapter there is discussed the view of the Scipture on the Roman citizenship of the Apostle, supplemented with a historical excursus about the history of Roman citizenship as such taking into special consideration the time of Paul's life i.e. the time of the Early Principate. Of course, the possibility of the Apostle's double citizenship is mentioned. From Paul's civil state follow necessarily his rights which form his further destiny. In particular there are concerned Paul's iudicial proceedings which are extensively discussed in the Acts of the Apostles. The second chapter therefore engages in the history and necessities of Roman iudicial proceedings and the appellate right of Roman citizens, which was used by Paul as Roman citizen, too.
