ANNOTATION The task of the bachelor's thesis was to verify the possibility of using a listed Baroque granary in the town of Slaný in the Kladno region for the needs of local residents. By analyzing the place in the context of the city and the wider environment, I came to the conclusion that it is worth preserving the granary in its majestic form for future generations. The possible overuse of the functional use of the old granary beyond the borders of the region is expected in the future. It is also considered with the possibility of conversion to current needs and use in the future. The granary has always been here for the local people and as long as it stands, it will continue to complement the unmistakable character of the city.

The aim of the work was not to find a suitable way of new use of the historic building of the baroque granary so as to expand and strengthen the structure of the city's facilities, ideally focused on children and youth. Another area of the solution was the urban connection of the original building with the city's street network. The bachelor's thesis deals with the development of an architectural design for the conversion of a baroque granary. The specific method of intervention was left to the student's choice during the assignment, depending on the chosen strategy. The construction program itself is defined only in a general way and it is possible to extend it with other functions. Although it was possible not to stick to the functions associated with children and youth and to find a completely different use, I finally returned to this topic after the analytical part of the project. Thanks to its location, the solved building becomes an ideal adept for creating a leisure background for the youngest generation. The granary is situated on the edge of the historic center of Slaný, where there are several schools and kindergartens in the immediate vicinity. It is therefore possible to count on the use of space in the design both in the afternoon leisure hours and, for example, during teaching in creative or sports subjects.

The subject of the work is the reconversion of the Baroque granary building in Slaný. The proposal focuses on the meeting of generations and the idea of learning from experience, which is supported by a playful and variable space. It creates a new link between the streets of Palacký and Nejtkov, between which there is a lively parterre with a café, a gallery and a multipurpose hall. The complex form is supplied to the whole territory by the newly created public area in the technical services area.

This diploma thesis is focused on building survey and evaluating the state of existing constructions. In theoretical part are described the process of evaluating the state of existing constructions and selected diagnostic methods. The practical part is dealing with performed structural and technical survey of industrial object including evaluation of the strength of concrete and verification of the reinforcement. The last part is focused on a static assessment of selected supporting element of the structure.

The object of bachelor thesis is survey castle´s granary in Cvrčovice. Bachelor thesis describes the progress of the work. The first part includes information about locality and measuring work. The following part contains data processing and creation of graphic outputs. In the conclusion are assessed the result of the work. The resulting drawings are attached in the annex section.

The work is focused on structural and technical exploration of contribution granary in Zábřeh. Granary is among the cultural monuments. The survey was focused on how to determine the current state of the object.The task was to identify and locate the fault and the scope of individual damage wood and truss construction. The survey was carried out using sensory methods. Component of this work is to propose the best use of the granaries in the future.The result of the survey is a complete technical report STP about the physical condition of the wooden structure and roof, with a proposal for remedial measures. The second output is a proposal for the use of granaries with regard to cultural heritage.

The aim of this thesis is to create a detailed documentation of the historic granary in Miroslav and supplementation this documentation on structural and technical research. The granary was built in the Baroque period and is among the cultural monuments. The main impulse preparation of documentation was extensive damage and causation of damage of wooden structures and efforts to save the entire building with an emphasis on preserving historical values. In the first step in the preliminary research were identified the dimensions of the elements of the structure, the type truss system was determined. Further survey focused on determining the extent and causes of damage. Finally, the repair option and further use of granary was considered.

The introduction of the bachelor thesis describes general outcomes of current research focused on granaries. More precisely, author presents knowledge about period of time when granaries were often built, the main reasons why granaries were built, the used materials, and he also summarizes granaries' constructions. In the practical part, author examines the construction of the granary. The granary has been elaborately studied and measured. Author describes the current condition and creates drawing documentation. The main aim is to analyze the amount of damage of the truss construction. Moreover, graphical representation of damage of the truss construction was created. The thesis concluded with the possibilities of treatment and conservation of the truss structure, the roof structure, and the building as a whole.

Study of reconstruction of the historical granary in Hluboká nad Vltavou into an amusement park

The aim of this Diploma Thesis is the elaboration of a study concerning the project for the reconstruction of the historical building of a granary in Hluboká nad Vltavou into an amusement park. The theoretical base of the thesis deals with the importance of the tourism at the national and regional levels where the contemporary situation of the Southern Bohemian Region is described in a more detailed way. A part of the thesis includes selected examples of local and foreign case studies dealing with similar projects like the planned project of an amusement park and it also corresponds with the contemporary market trends. The main practical part of the thesis deals with the design of the reconstruction of the historical building of a granary in Hluboká nad Vltavou into an amusement park. The purpose of the thesis is not the procession of a realistic project including all parts thereof but a study offering the solutions how to use the building in connection with the strategic planning document of the town Hluboká nad Vltavou as well as the Southern Bohemian Region. The practical part includes the description of the project of the granary, including the design, basic economic analysis and possibilities of the marketing communication. The technical documentation of the building is a part of attachments.
