The creation of training methodology for medical personnel to operation the lung ventilator with utilization of trequently asked questions

The goal of this Diploma thesis is to consolidate questions asked during the training of medical personnel for the correct usage of the lung ventilator Hamilton Medical G5, and to create more effective training methodology to safely operate this unit, based on collected inquiries. The training for this concrete device is assumed to be valid for at least 10 years. The practical utilization of the thesis is for the exclusive distributor of devices of this brand and also for technical departments of hospitals where the unit is installed in. The theoretical part of the thesis cosists of a legislative scope, which defines the issue of training, the training process itself and a basic description of the lung ventilator. Practical part consists of training methodology for effective and safe usage of the lung ventilator Hamilton Medical G5, based on collected inquiries. It is divided into two basic parts with an emphasis on issues related to medical personnel at first, and then to the issues oriented more to doctors.

Use of special tools in youth training in ice hockey

VYUŽITÍ SPECIÁLNÍCH POMŮCEK V TRÉNINKU HOKEJOVÉ MLÁDEŽE V PŘÍPRAVNÉM OBDOBÍ Objectives: A usage of special equipment in practice in ice-hockey during off-ice practice and its further analysis and evaluation. Methods: To get the aim of comparing a common practice and a special practice I will use special exercises for a speed of learning of new skills. The new methods will be used in a modern practice. I will observe reactions of children about the other kind of practice and effectiveness of modern practice as well. Results: Results of modern practice show that children like learning new activities and methods. More various practices were better for their motivation and interest. A practice was much more intensive when I used suitable game-like methods. Effectiveness of learning raised when I used modern practice. Lay Public awareness of the Probation and Mediation Service

Together with the reform of the criminal justice it was necessary to form a complex system of activities concerning the realization and effective usage of the introduced system of alternative punishments and deviations in criminal proceedings. On the basis of this requirement the institution of the Probation and Mediation Service (PMS) of the Czech Republic was established in 2001. The mission of the PMS is to create conditions for alternative punishments use in the course of the criminal proceedings and to ensure the effective execution of alternative punishments. For this purpose this service carries out the probation and mediation and participates in settlement of disputes between the accused and accusers and makes efforts to appease conflict situations and to restore the respect for rules of law. The integral part of the PMS mission is prevention and reducing the risk of the recurrence of criminal activity. The objective of the thesis is to examine the real public awareness of the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic, to give account of the lay public attitudes to the institution of alternative punishments. The thesis also studies opinions of alternative punishments in professionals who cooperate with the Probation and Mediation Service. Before the research the following hypotheses were stated: H I: The awareness of the lay public of the Probation and Mediation Service is low. Partial H I: The lay public gets information mostly through the television broadcasting. H II: The cooperation of professionals with the Probation and Mediation Service influences the attitude to alternative punishments, which become more acceptable to be imposed. To verify the hypotheses the quantitative research, the questionnaire method was used. I made up standardised questionnaires with a series of 15 questions. The first research set was composed of the lay public. 100 persons aged 20 {--} 60 years were chosen at random. The other research set comprised staff members of subjects cooperating with the Probation and Mediation Service of the Police of the Czech Republic, of local and municipal authorities, of the Employment Office, of the prison system. 50 persons were addressed on the whole. The results show that the H I as well as the partial H I, relating to the awareness of the lay public of the Probation and Mediation Service, were confirmed. The hypothesis II, focused on attitudes of professionals cooperating with the PMS to alternative punishments, was rejected.

Worldwide trend is acquisition energy from renewable sources. In Czech Republic is on the increase building of biogas stations for this effect. It offers us the production of electricity and thermal energy from renewable sources such as biomass, including the waste, where it would not otherwise find the usage for energy. The aim of my work is to describe basic principles of biochemical conversion of biomass, biogas technology, and their significance. I focused mainly on the use of biogas stations in the city. The first part of my work describes the formation and production of biogas. There are also described constituent technological elements of biogas stations and konstituent regulations affecting their operations. The second part focuses on the use of biogas technology in cities. The use of biogas technology is demonstrated on the functioning operation in biogas station Brno-Černovice.

The influence of pets to sensation of children and adolescents

In the theoretical part of my work, at first I deal with the phenomenon of domestication of animals, its descent on today's civilization and usage in common welfare - for animals, and also for people. In families, who decided to provide a pet, plays an important role correct selection and convenient conditions for its breeding. I set the biggest accent on the meaning of animals in the therapeutical area - in so called Pet therapy. In detail I write about therapeutical usage of dogs, cats and horses. The target group became for me children of older school age, but I also mention some examples of impact of the positive influence of pets to adult population. An important part of having pets is the ability to balance with its death. All the mentioned themes in the theoretical part are further described in the practical section of my work. I made a research at Prague's grammar schools and its results are detailed written in the second part of this work.

This bachelor thesis is focused on healthy lifestyle and on way of life for this lifestyle. There is included the meaning of balanced nutrition and physical activity in this thesis. There is also described proper food composition and the important nutrients during the day. Very important is factor of enough fluids, mainly during sports activities. Drinking regime is necessary for right function of whole organism. Movement activity and good choice of this activity is also important part of the healthy life. The sport is suitable for physical and psychological growth of the person and for prevention against lifestyle diseases. There are described the principles for caring of optimal bodyweight and also for usage of supplements in the last part.

Transformation of companies - legal, accounting and tax aspects in terms of legislation of Czech Republic.

The main aim of this thesis is evaluation of legislational, accounting and tax aspects of a specific case of company transformation under the terms of the legislation of Czech Republic. In terms of legal aspects it is the issue of obtaining the required consent of the tax administrator, the Competiton Bureau and potential providers of subsidies. It is also important to obtain a Trade License, the protection of creditors and rigts to intangible assets such as licenses, protective stamps and ISO norms. The aacounting aspect depicts problems of assembling the final accounts, opening balance sheets and the audit of these statements. It also describes the impacts to the balance of the participating companies. From the point of view of tax mainly the Income Tax, Property Tax, Road Tax, Gift Tax and Property Transfer Tax, registration for Value Added Tax and depreciation of property.

Nursing Specificity at Patients with Diagnosis "psoriasis vulgaris"

Nursing Specificity at Patients with Diagnosis psoriasis vulgaris The aim of my thesis was to explore the nursing specificity at patients with diagnosis psoriasis vulgaris. I tried to find out the real impact of nursing care on the psychic state of these patients and their close family members; in addition to this my research was concentrated on the role of a nurse in the nursing process. My intention was to discover whether a nurse can influence on psychic problems of psoriatic patients. I used qualitative methods of research, i.e. nonstandardized talks in combination with subsequent case study. The topic of talks to patients and nurses reflected everyday life of psoriatic patients and nursing problems concerning their treatment. Patients and nurses were chosen at random with respect to voluntary participation of both. The intention was applied in the chosen illness {--} psoriasis vulgaris. The research has proved the existence of the specific field in the nursing process at psoriatic patients {--} systematic and long-term care about the overall psychic condition of these patients. Psychic (im)balance of psoriatic patients is usually transfered to their relatives. My research has resulted in the serious finding that contemporary nursing is ignoring the care about psoriatic patients´ psychic problems. This fact of missing psychic care was confirmed at all stages of this incurable illness. Despite of this fact the main role in taking care about patients´ psychic state should be realized by nurses. Patients should be much better educated; nurses should regularly carry out prevention and treatment of psychic traumas occuring so often during patients´ coexistence with psoriasis. To sum up my thesis, I would like to add some extra comments: results of the research are so current and urgent so that to be published in the professional journals. Postgraduate education of nurses should be completed with these findings and management of health service facilities should be also immediately informed about present missing care concerning psychic condition. Noursing care will have to be reorganized and improved as soon as possible. In this way the quality of psoriatic patients´ and their relatives´ life could be much better than any time before

Questions about the usage of the preposition "po" in Russian literature

"The questions about the meaning of the preposition "no" in Russian literature" The tendered diploma work is focused on issues of the relations sense mediated by the preposition no in fiction and on the options of its translation. It is my intention to compare the occurance frequence of the separate meanings in constructions with no in fiction of 19. and 20. century. The theoretical part deals with the information from the scientific literature related to prepositions and and typical qualities of no itself. Special attention is dedicated to its mening. What concerns the practical part, there is a suggested process for gaining and processing of the material exempted of the texts on the first place. On its base the picked pieces of fiction are analysed. The gained results are evaluated, compared and completed by a comment. According to the analyzed stuff it is clear that the meaning of the preposition no depends on the text character. Also the options of the translation are linked with that.

Renata Kurfürstová Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové 2010 Background: - to investigate the situation regarding drug use among the university students; - to analyse eventual differences between students of two differently oriented faculties; Methods: - questionnaire study: anonymous, voluntary questionnaire; - 25 closed and semi closed questions; - involved 413 respondents (209 students of Pharmacy, 204 students of Maths and Physics), analyzed 400 students (96.9%); - 198 males and 202 females, at the age 19 - 34 years (average age 22 year); - data analysed in Microsoft Excel 2002 and SPSS for Windows, version 16.0; Results: Attitude to drugs usage: - drugs are beneficial to one side, on the other harmful (85.0%) and the result of usage could be demage of organism (93.2%); - antibiotics (89.2%) and psychopharmaceuticals (89.0%) are taken only for medical recommendation; - antibiotics are used to treatment: bacterial infections (82.2%; high prevalence for students of Pharmacy and descendent of paramedics, p<0.05), viral infections (21.8%; high prevalence for students of Maths and Physics, p<0.05), influenza (10.0%; high prevalence for students of Maths and Physics and descendent of...
