This master’s thesis deals with design and construction of a system for repote measurement of air quality in buildings. The first section provides a selection and analysis of used hardware and software components: minicomputer Raspberry Pi, STM32F401 microcontroller, communication module XBee-Pro, CO2 sensor and also communication interfaces IC and USART. The next section includes a design of electrical wiring, circuit board, configuration of the wireless modules and a software implementation for microcontroller and the concentrator.

Volume measurement in 3D data
Krajíček, Václav ; Felkel, Petr (referee) ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor)
Medical diagnostics using computed tomography or magnetic resonance is a common part of complex medical checkup for a long time. These devices produce vast volumes of data, which must be analyzed by an expert physician. There is a big space for utilising computers to aid medical diagnosis, or visualization. This work aims to measure volume of a specific organ in the human body, like kidneys or spleen. To measure volume of the organ it is necessary to reconstruct the object from three-dimensional data. Reconstruction is based on segmentation of the image data, which separates reconstructed organs from the background. The task of segmentation is specially adapted to this kind of data, which are, from specimen to specimen, characterized by big similarity in common shape, but also by big heterogeneity in tiny details. Deformable models were chosen as a primary tool for the segmentation of three-dimensional volumes. They are also the main topic of this work. Programs measuring volume in medical data exist, but thanks to increasing performance of modern computers it is possible to implement new algorithms, which are not present in today's software tools. The result of this work is a system which segments and measures volume in medical data. We also perform benchmarks, which expose an error of the measurement with...

Animation of file sorting algorithms
Louženský, Zdeněk ; Kryl, Rudolf (advisor) ; Kučera, Luděk (referee)
This bachelor's thesis describes main components of the Animator software project. Animator off ers studying of file sorting algorithms. Users can single-stop algorithms or watch tapes with sorted elements on variable oriented views. Algorithm progress may be in fluenced by changing variable values or elements placed on tapes. Users also may orient on examining algorithm efectivity using statistics collected during algorithm progress. It is possible to extend Animator by new views or file sorting algorithms.

Investment Strategies Simulator
Helešic, Tomáš ; Šerý, Ondřej (advisor) ; Poch, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Investment Strategies Simulator Author: Tomáš Helešic Department: Department of Software Engineering Supervisor: RNDr. Ondřej Šerý Supervisor's e-mail address: ondrej.sery@d3s.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The goal of this thesis is the creation of an investment strategies simulator. The resulting program allows users to download current and historical stock data, visualize it using charts and implement on it the tools of technical analysis. These components are designed and linked to create fully worthwhile environment for the creation, evaluation and representation of user strategies. Keywords: Investment strategies; Technical analysis, Scripting;

Project Planning and Time Tracking
Kučera, Tomáš ; Zavoral, Filip (referee) ; Zlomek, Josef (advisor)
Software development is much easier with a correct project plan. In our work we study design and implementation of the web system for creating project plans. Users of the system make records about their work and they enter development progress of the tasks in the projects. Emphasis is placed on clearly organized project tree structure with the information about project progress and current costs. The system is programmed in the PHP scripting language. Data are stored in the MySQL database.

Application versatile module LabJack\hindex{TM} in education of physics
PŘIBYL, Vojtěch
Theme of this thesis is using of universal module LabJack U3-HVTM as support for physics lessons. This thesis describes the universal module LabJack U3-HVTM and evaluation method of measured value on the computer screen using software eSimLab. To all physical tasks is described path of signal with measured string from developed sensor until evaluation of signal in the computer. In the thesis is specifically described a function of developed sensors of physical quantities, there are subscribed diagrams including PCB and parts list. The thesis is including designed physical tasks for monitoring of atmospheric pressure, temperature, wind direction, sunshine duration and the role of measurement of the signal on the optical transmitter using the developed sensors and universal module LabJack U3-HVTM.

Modification of polyurethane by biodegradable poly(hydroxybutyrate)

In the given thesis all the steps of studying and writing a program for the management of a library are worked out. In the rst chapter the requirements of the client ordering this software are analyzed. The possible solutions are o ered. In the next part a study about barcodes and barcode readers is given, as the books and users of the library will be given barcodes. The third chapter includes a precise user documentation, explaining how to use the program. Next there is a programmer documentation explaining some interesting parts of the code and introducing the programming language that was chosen. It is then that a conclusion is made and possible future improvements are proposed.

Electrically short multiband antenna for radioamateur use
Müller, Marek ; Šebesta, Jan (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
The purpose of this work is identification with theory of EH antennas, do the simulation of one choice of model of EH antenna from literature and this model optimise on required frequency 14 MHz through the use of computer software CST Microwave Studio. The practical part of work is to produce choice model of EH antenna, to mete his properties and to verify use in real traffic. The EH antenna is an electromagnetic electrically short antenna, which can work as a transmitting or receiving antenna. The main characteristic of EH antenna is distributed radiating electromagnetic field, whose electric component E and magnetic component H are mutually crossed and orthogonal. The advantage of EH antennas is, that they have much smaller size on frequencies in order of magnitude MHz in comparison with conventional antennas (e.g. half-wave dipole). Their disavantages are their more complicated construction and tuning of the antenna, which must be made again, when the position of antenna is changed. Therefore the EH antenna is not so suitable for mobile application.
