Portfolio Investment in the Shares of European Airlines

Bachelor’s thesis is focused on fundamental stock analysis of eurozone airline companies, their intercompany comparation and their verification considering possibility of bankruptcy. In the theoritical part are explained methods of fundamental analysis and theoritical information related to collective investing and hedge funds. In the practical part is created an analysis and a comparation of these companies. Then there is in the practical part a calculated model of bankruptcy for each company. In the next chapter there is created investment recommendation based on acquired data.
Proposal for Expansion of the Investment Portfolio of the Industry-based Hedge Fund

This bachelor´s thesis is about expanding the hedge fund's portfolio by including stocks of international companies engaged in mining of precious metals. The theoretical part deals with the legal definition of investment funds based in the Czech Republic and definition of financial analysis. Thesis in practical part deals with choosing right companies to expand the portfolio with and financial analysis of chosen mining companies. The last part is about evaluation of founded informations and proposing own solution suggestions.

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal to expand the investment portfolio of the equity hedge fund, which is focused on technology stocks. Selected companies are subjected to financial analysis, then an intercompany comparison and verification using a bankruptcy model is performed. From this analysis, a proposal is made to expand the investment portfolio of the equity hedge fund.
Proposal for Amendment to the Hedge Fund Investment Portfolio

This bachelor’s thesis presents the financial analysis of technically oriented and innovative corporations operating in the United States. The main objective of the thesis is to formulate a proposal for amendment to the hedge fund investment portfolio. Its theoretical framework contains theoretical and legal aspects of hedge funds, explanations of some terms related to investment as well as individual methods of financial analysis. The practical chapters present the selection of companies according to their fund status. The selected companies are subsequently analysed by means of several financial indicators. Individual results from the analysis are compared and the companies are verified by means of the bankruptcy model. Following these results, the author formulates the proposal for amendment to the hedge fund investment portfolio.
Investment Portfolio and its Creation

The subject of the diploma thesis is to design the structure of an investment portfolio for a hedge fund with a focus on American publicly traded companies. The work is divided into three parts. The first part defines the basic theoretical knowledge. The second part deals with the practical application of fundamental analysis. The output of the analysis is 6 stocks from 3 industries. In the third part, the titles are analyzed by intercompany comparison and the percentage share in the portfolio is determined.

5252 Abstract Collective investment and its legal regulation In the Czech Republic the collective investment has experienced a huge expansion in the last decade which was caused among others by renewing the trust in legal regulation which ensures the safety of investment to the investors. Because the topic is relatively difficult and undoubtedly interesting I chose it as a topic of my diploma thesis. This paper is divided into chapters and subchapters containing particular topics regarding the collective investment legislation but to maintain the overall logical structure of the issue. Before starting to write the diploma thesis I discussed the biggest problems of a practical application of the collective investment legal regulation with practising lawyers as this view from the academic preparation was missing. I found out from this short survey the most common problems connected with the collective investment legal regulation which I discussed in this diploma thesis. These include in particular the definition of public offering under the Collective Investment Act, the possibility to offer the services of closed-end foreign funds in the Czech Republic and the recently introduced legislation regarding standard and alternative funds. This bachelor's thesis focuses on supplementing the investment portfolio for a fund of qualified investors with regional exposure in North America. In the theoretical part, we will introduce the theoretical and legal aspects of investing for a fund of qualified investors, investment funds, investing in joint stock companies, financial analysis, and banking models. This is followed by the practical part of the bachelor's thesis, which continues with the initial selection of shares according to management requirements. After the selection of individual companies, a financial analysis will be made, the results of which will then be compared and verified using a bankruptcy model. Finally, a recommendation for supplementing the investment portfolio will be proposed for the most suitable joint-stock Companies.

This bachelor's thesis is aimed at hedge fund (in Czechia only as analogy), for which a proposal for expanding the investment portfolio in the field of the automotive industry is developed in the practical part. In the first part, basic concepts, elements of financial analysis, comparative methods and models are defined, which are subsequently implemented in the practical part. The selected companies are verified using a banking model, and based on the results of all the above-mentioned analyzes and methods, a proposal is presented to expand the investment portfolio by the shares of certain companies.

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on selection of titles for expansion of investment hedge fund of funds. The theoretical part describes mutual investing, hedge funds and mutual funds. In the second part of the thesis the concrete hedge fund of funds has been described. It also includes the requirements of its management for expanding the portfolio. The third part contains of the primary selection of titles for portfolio expansion. These titles were analyzed and compared in the following part. In the last section of the thesis the recommendations for expanding the portfolio of the hedge fund of funds have been made, based on the results of analysis and comparation of the titles.
Update of the Investment Portfolio of the Hedge Fund

The bachelor thesis focuses on the Hedge Fund and their investment in technologically focused stocks traded on the US Stock Exchange. In the chapter of the theoretical and legal aspects of the Hedge Fund, the summary of the concepts of investment in shares is presented. As well, the sub-methods of financial analysis and theoretical definition of the bankruptcy model are introduced. In the practical part of the work, the initial selection of shares corresponding to the status of the fund and managerial requirements are subjected to a financial analysis using specific financial indicators. The partial results are compared to each other, and their verification is performed through a bankruptcy model. At the end of the thesis, based on the results achieved, the proposal to update the investment portfolio of the Hedge Fund is created.
