Presentation year: 2012 Abstract Objective: To determine efficiency standards of physical performance testing of career soldiers of Armed Forces of the Czech Republic performed on the CISM obstacle course. Methods: Standardized testing and succesive determinantion of standards were used. Equivalent-interval scale which is characterized by constant measuring unit was also used. Due to this scale parametric methods were used to determination of standards: arithmetic average, determinative deviation and median. Results: The result of this thesis is a determination of performance standards of career soldiers of Czech Armed Forces for testing purposes while using CISM obstacle course. Standards are set for both men and women categories and for purpose of professional physical performance testing. These standards are provided in two variants. The first variant is specified for type A and B units and the second variant is specified for type C units. Standards for given category and variant are additionally divided according to dress and gear which is used during testing as follows:  BDU (battle dress uniform);  BDU,...

Optimization of Flash applications
Jahoda, Lukáš ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Žamberský, Martin (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to characterize and describe methods which are used to optimize performance of Flash applications designed for desktop and mobile devices. These optimizations are based on Adobe AIR and Adobe Flash Player applications for all platforms such as desktops, mobile devices, tablets and TVs. These techniques cannot be used on all Flash projects and also most of the optimizations require advanced knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 language, which is powerful object-oriented programming language used for Flash applications. This paper should also cover the basic theoretical knowledge about Flash platform and getting to know the development of mobile applications for mobile operating systems such as Android and iOS. Theoretical part takes care of publishing packagers AIR for Android and iOS Packager. Part-of the work covers the actual testing of above mentioned applications, which were tested on desktop and mobile device with Android operating system. With these test the effectiveness of optimizations was proofed.

Janů, Martin ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Závodný, Martin (referee)
Diploma work is focused on implementation Business Intelligence applications in medium software company in order to support Corporate Performance Management. It creates suitable metrics portfolio according to Balanced Scorecard methodology. Implementation part presents development of the reporting system on the Cognos 8 BI platform in the current software company environment. The system evaluates the metrics every month. Metrics values are based on current data in transactional system. Diploma work has two parts: theory and reporting project. Theoretical part deals with BI system architecture in general. It is focused on reporting issues. It analyses typical usage and expected benefits of BI applications used for Corporate Performance Management in order to specify applications that are suitable for implementation in the company environment. Next issue of the theoretical part deals with IS development methodology that can be used in Business Intelligence projects. According to chosen criteria and weights with regard to this project it evaluates the best methodology for this project. It will be used in the next part. Practical part reporting project is both about development issues and usage the BI application from the end user view. This example provides information about activities, which are necessary for this development from initial study to testing phase. Project scope includes analysis of the environment, analysis of used metrics, design new metrics, metrics selection and implementation on Cognos platform. This example presents analytical usage of the Metric Studio tool and dymamical reports usage from the manager's view. The final part brings together critical success factors (CSF), which appear in this project.

Application of technical analysis indicators on futures markets
Tomčiak, Boris ; Veselá, Jitka (advisor)
Technical analysis is one of methods which are used by investors, when they decide about allocation of their financial assets. There is a disagreement about the reliability of results achieved by this approach in the theoretical literature. This paper focuses on results of several simple trading systems based on technical analysis indicators. Tests will run on a portfolio of futures contracts. I will also try to determine optimal parameters and I will propose possible modifications.

DNA isolation from probiotic lactic acid bacteria in food additives
Tvrdíková, Jana ; Vojtíšková, Marie (referee) ; Španová, Alena (advisor)
In this work the functionalised magnetic particles were tested with streptavidin to selective DNA isolation. The method of selective DNA isolation was tested by using DNA probiotic strain Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei CCDM 211/06. A test was done on the biotinyl oligonucleotic particles, which was immobilised by containing streptavidin and it was used like a DNA probe for isolation complementary DNA chain by means of DNA/DNA hybridization. The primer R 5´ bio and the biotinyl denatured specific PCR product were tested for species Lb. paracasei as a DNA probe. These following experimental conditions were optimized for selective DNA isolation: temperature and time of hybridization, amount of DNA and the release of DNA from microspheres. Isolation of DNA was verified by PCR with specific generic primers. The specific generic PCR product was amplified in extent 250 bp, which was detected by using electrophoresis in agarose gel. This optimized method was successfully used in selective isolation of DNA Lactobacillus from a complementary sample of supplementary food (BIFI pangamin).
