The aim of the bachelor thesis is the financial analysis of the company Arval, Ltd. for the period 2006-2009 to establish the financial situation of company from the perspective of manager and determine its position in the market of the leasing company. In the theoretical part is characterized the nature of financial analysis, the users and the methods the analysis of absolute indicator, financial ratios, evaluation of business performance and methods used in inter--company comparison. In the practical part is analyzed leasing market first, then presented the company and next selected methods applied. Values of indicators are compared over time and compared with competitors. Selected competitors are LeasePlan, Ltd., Business Lease, Ltd. and Škofin, Ltd.

The financial analysis of the manufacturing company, Siemens Elektromotory, s.r.o., from the basic external view of the analytical data available from the annual statements of the period 2003-2009. The instruments of financial analysis are applied to the horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, analysis of ratio indicators, pyramidal decomposition of ROE (return on equity), EVA (economic value added) and bankruptcy prediction models. The financial analysis is divided into two main parts. In the first part are descriptive theories and methodological apparatus. The second application part introduces particular numbers and graphs with its interpretation. Outcomes are compared to the industrial averages.

The thesis "Financial analysis of ELTODO EG corporation" is made up of two different parts. The theoretical part explains the meaning of financial analysis and describes the procedure, which leads to construction and evaluation of particular methods of the analysis (analysis of absolute, relative and differential value ratios, balance rules, value and bankruptcy models, economic standard, comparation with the sector, decomposition of peak indicators). The practical part applies these methods directly to the ELTODO EG corporation.
