Innovation of Selected Insurance Products

Master’s thesis researches the possibility of inovation or creation of brand new insurance product on czech insurance market. In theoretical part there is basic insurance terms overview, insurance products division and description of analyses and methods used. Analysis of the insurance market at present follows and then behavior and financial situation of nearest competitors are mapped. Thesis includes questionnaire study outcomes of 179 respondents applied to personal insurance preferences and insurance portfolio. The project part applies mainly to possibility of creating new insurance product „Long-term care insurance“ and it’s implementation.

Proposal of Marketing Strategy for Foreign Markets

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of marketing strategy for foreign markets. As a particular company the author have chosen company Hakr Trade, Ltd., which was renamed to KRETZ, Ltd. on the beginning of 2014. The thesis analyses problems of marketing and marketing planning. The goal is, besides processing literature review on the issue, apply theoretical knowledge in the field of marketing on marketing processes in the foreign trade at company KRETZ, evaluate the current state of marketing activities with regard to the principles of B2B and propose relevant recommendations to communicate the change of company name, increase awareness of customers about products and increase abroad sales. An essential part of the recommendation is costing of the proposed changes.

Židlíková, E. Corporate Marketing Strategy. Diploma Thesis. Brno: Brno University of Technology, 2014. The thesis focuses on a marketing analysis of the Victoria company, a travel agency located in Brno. Its principal objective is to create a corporate marketing strategy based on a marketing research and analyses that determine preferences and interests of consumers in the area of tourism. The thesis is subdivided into two sections – theoretical and practical. The theoretical section comprises chapters describing various theoretical bases of marketing as well as the manner of drafting a marketing plan. The practical section presents practical findings related to the thesis.
