Active probes PMS in UMTS-TDD network
Doskočil, Ladislav ; Kejík, Petr (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
This essay contains basic information about the UMTS system, teach-in with the programming language C++, succinct description of some technologies used by internet, specifically protocol TCP/IP, HTML and PHP language, which relate to this project. Included is also an introduction to databases systems and brief description SQL language and MySQL database system. The last part of this work describes the system design of the Active probes PMS for network monitoring and results of experimental measuring.
Robotic devices for disabled
Dojava, Marian ; Burian, František (referee) ; Šembera, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is a improvement of a wheelchair. It is need to facilitate placing a wheelchair into a car of person with disability. The solvent of this problem is especially realizing of a remote control. This thesis deals with implementation communication between the selected components and it deals with implementation the integral system, too.
Design and Implementation of Network Application for Audit and Monitoring of Computers
Krym, David ; Veselý, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of a network application for monitoring of computers for a chosen company. The application allows administrators to automate the gathering of hardware and software information. The purpose of the application is also to monitor hardware values, such as processor temperature or harddisk free space. The design uses client-server architecture. Three applications were created: server, client and graphical management console.
Entropic models of data traffic
Blažek, Petr ; Mžourek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
This thesis solves possibility of using entropy for anomaly detection in data communication and especially for security attacks. The main advantage of using entropy is ability to identify unknown attacks because entropy detects changes in network traffic but not the content as existing methods. In this work was tested the suitability of different models entropy (Shannon, Renyi, Tsallis). Also been tested the effect of Renyi and Tsallis parameter on resulting entropy. From the resulting values, I found that all tested entropy achieve good result in the identification of anomalies in network traffic.
ARM Cortex M4 Development board
Volek, Lukáš ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
In this work I aimed at designing a universal system for testing either STM32F407/417 by STMicroelectronics and later various sensors and communication buses. The result then is a main board with many specific connectors for individual buses even with connectors making all I/O pins accessible at the same time. Thanks to advanced switching regulators the power supply is capable of accepting a wide range of sources like single Li-Ion cell, pair of alkaline cells, 12V Lead battery, common wall power adapters (both DC and AC up to 15 Vpp ), USB, laboratory power supplies with multiple outputs and finally POE (Power Over Ethernet). Supply voltages are supervised by voltage comparators with an optical signalisation. (It is possible to determine the sick branch without a measuring instrument and blowing components in the most cases.) Another important parameter was a robustness of the supply and communication lines. There is a number of TVSs, chokes, and big and low ESR capacitors A PC software is intended for a basic functionality demonstration only.
TCP/IP and Modbus modules for OS FreeRTOS
Šťastný, Ladislav ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to get familiar with operating system FreeRTOS and its usage in device design. It also explains usage of SW module LwIP (TCP/IP stack) and Free-MODBUS. Consequently is designed example device, simple operational panel. The panel communicates through ethernet interface using Modbus TCP protocol with connected PLCs on separate network. Its meet function of webserver, HID and also source of real time.
Secure data transfer between multiplatform database servers
Navrátil, Jiří ; Janovič, Filip (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This work deals with options of servers synchronization, possibilities of communication among client applications and database server. It also sets up solution using the application server and demonstrates its realization in common development environment.
Innovative Routing Protocols
Rouča, Tomáš ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to get acquainted with the technology of routing data in a computer network. Thesis described in the theoretical level properties of current and past routing protocols and their use in information systems. Based on the acquired knowledge was created a simulation model of network communication in programming environment OPNET Modeler. This model analyzes the received parameters of the current protocols and their subsequent implementation in the real transmission technology using operating system Debian Linux. Finally, the transfer parameters are discussed between the simulation model and real transfer technology.
Realization of the Car2X and Car2Car communication device
Štohanzl, Milan ; Sloupenský, Marek (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
This work explores possibilities of Car2Car and Car2X communication. It contains survey of system properties, types of transmission messages, etc. It represents architecture of the system and deals with technical expectations and limitations of system. In the light of the fact that this work is created in the time, when development of this system hasn’t finished yet, the work doesn’t contain details which would allow deeper technical view about area of vehicular communication. The work also deals with the possibility of realization of device, communicating with a similar standard. Like the most suitable standard was chosen an IEEE 802.11a. Mobile unit has been realized by single board computer Mini 2440 and communication has been realized by WiFi module OWS451i, which works as AT modem. Mini 2440 and infrastructure server are based on Linux operation system.
Laboratory stand with RABBIT CPU
Váša, Tomáš ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master’s thesis contains design of laboratory stand for learning programming microcontrollers. Stand is equipped with two Rabbit modules, which are connected together over local area network. Exercises are focused on working with basic peripheries as digital inputs and outputs,PWM modulation, serial communication. Exercises are interested in evaluation of matrix keyboard and communication with alphanumeric display controller. With the ability to easy access the Internet some exercises are designed for work with this interface. To these exercises is made a preparation of external peripherals. Through these peripherals there can be can be controlled DC motors, step motor, binary outputs and inputs. Each lab exercise contains an introduction, task, instructions and the flowchart of realized exercise. Instructions are written so that it contains important steps to properly manage assignments. Individual exercises are designed to gradually increasing complexity of exercises.
