Options removal of micropollutants with water treatment processes
Zdražilová, Alena ; Bogáňová, Ida (referee) ; Biela, Renata (advisor)
This diploma thesis is engaged in problems of micropollutants removal by water treatment process. The first part aims to define single micropollutants, possibilities of their removal in laboratory and micropollutants removal on water treatment plant. In the second part, there is data evaluation of water analyses on factual water treatment plant. Also there is description and evaluation of experiment, which aims to pesticide removal from river by using filtration across granulated active carbon.
Reflection Detection and Removal From Image Sequences
Prevention of defects during tube bending
Procházka, Libor ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the most occurring defects of tube´s component bending. The first part of this thesis is focused on a detailed research of these unwanted phenomenons. The second part contains complete list of possibilities in the defects reduction. There are quoted the suitability and the terms of use for an individual eliminative methods in the second part of this thesis, too. The last part of this bachelor thesis contains classifying of elimination possibilities to the particular types of defects.
Present state of investment casting technology - finishing operations
Malý, Václav ; Joch, Antonín (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
The main objective of this work is to make list of finishing operations, which are used in investment technology. This work at the beginning describes common principles of this technology and then deeply describes first the finishing operations.
Methods of removing persistant polutants (dioxins)
Ferdan, Tomáš ; Jecha, David (referee) ; Pařízek, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis deals with rise of dioxins in waste-to-energy system in municipal waste incinerator and with technologies for their removal. The thesis speaks commonly about characteristics of dioxins and about their influence on environment and health in the first part. Furthermore are outlined the ways of dioxins production and the emission limits for off-gas. The second part of the bachelor’s thesis includes description of commonly used methods for removing dioxins from off-gas. There are mentioned their main advantages, disadvantages and compared efficiency of individual methods.
Choroby a vady vín, jejich prevence a odstranění
Procházková, Kateřina
This thesis deals with the health of the wine. The main theme is the most prevalent diseases and defects of wine. That may have been created since the very beginning in the vineyard and then in the manufacturing process of the wine. Defects are formed by chemical and physical influences and vice versa cause disease microorganisms. Thus damaged wines are characterized by adverse sensory perceptions and become inedible. For any defects or disease describes the general description, causes, prevention, and if there is damage described possible treatment, although in all cases it is not possible.
Elimination of losses in production in the selected company
KISSOVÁ, Beáta
The aim of bachelor´s work, which is called "Elimination of losses in production in the selected company" was the analysis of the production process and a detection of possible production losses in the company Cormen Ltd which is located in town Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. The work describes the production process with all its steps, production flow and the production background in the company. Observing the action in the company I searched for the possible sources of production losses. No significant losses were found as the company avoids the typical errors related to the production planning. Nevertheless I was able to identify certain potential sources of the production losses and suggested their elimination.
Methods of reduction of excessive biomass of phytoplankton
CHADTOVÁ, Gabriela
The aim of this study was to prepare review of methods to combat over development of phytoplankton. The work also includes a critical evaluation of usability, efficacy and risks of these methods. The methods to combat over-development of phytoplankton can be divided into direct and indirect. While the direct methods acts directly against phytoplankton, indirect methods are based mostly on reducing the amount of nutrients available for phytoplankton growth. Both of these methods can be further divided to biological, physico-mechanical and chemical. The direct methods of physico-mechanical include ultrasound, flushing and dilution, direct chemical methods include the use of chemical algaecides, coagulants and flocculants. Direct biological methods are especially divided by the principle of parasites(viruses, bacteria and fungi), competitors (algae), allelopathy (extracts from higher plants),predation (protozoa and herbivorous fish). The indirect physico-mechanical methods include extraction and overlapping sediment. Chemical methods are meant by the binding of nutrients to insoluble compound in the sediment and the biological methods are meant use of communities of bacteria for mineralization of sediments. The next part of the work is devoted to the characteristics of algae and cyanobacteria, as well as factors affecting the formation and development of algal blooms. In this part of the work I focus mainly on cyanobacteria, their toxins and the effect they have on the individual components of aquatic ecosystems.
