Client-Server Mobile Application with Image Processing
Černošek, Bedřich ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The main goal of this work is creating client-server application with image processing and cryptographic verification of image source and creation time. The work focuses on creating a mobile client application on the Android platform that securly takes photos by mobile device camera, processes captured images and provides a digital signature, timestamp and GPS location. The main part of the work is secure key exchange, encrypted communication, data and energy efficiency of the client-server application. The server application is implemented on the Java EE platform and processes the received image, performs object detection, object recognition in the image and provides a timestamp from a trusted server. Then taken photo can be considered as a trusted electronic document usable as valid evidence for the judical or administrative proceedings.
Using Wearables for Medicine Applications
Abraham, Lukáš ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains digest of interesting weareable devices which focus or are usedin medicine. Information about the applications for mobile devices and medicine which aremade for usual wearable devices can be found in this thesis as well. The solution which isapplied on weareable devices which are used in medicine is also described here. The solutionis made for wearable device (watch) Garmin VivoActive Hr and a mobile phone which runson Android platform. Watch VivoActive Hr is placed around the wrist and it takes a shotof the movement and the pulse of the person. Thanks to the accelerometer it can identifythe number of steps which were taken during the day by the person. These data are sentfrom the watch to the smart phone which runs on the Android platform and the applicationwhich evaluates these data is able to send an SMS or an email if the situation is evaluatedas an emergency.
Applications for Wearable Devices based on Android Wear OS
Šmejkal, Petr ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The semestral project "Application for Android Wear wearables” describes basic principles of the communication network - M2M (machine to machine), H2H (human to human) and D2D (device to device). It is also focused on wearables especially smart watches, available operation systems for smart watches and system Android, Android Wear. In the practical part is described functionality, design and structure of developed application for Android wear smartwatch.
Wearable Devices: Possibilities of Using and Applications
Herec, Jan ; Luža, Radim (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on wearable devices that are currently actual topic. It presents their history, communication methods and capabilities of application. It further describes created solution that demonstrates the application of wearable devices for controlling a robot. The solution consists of a wearable device named Myo armband, an Android application and a robot on the platform ROS (Robot operating system). A Myo armband has a form of a bracelet that is placed on a forearm and contains sensors such as a magnetometer, a gyroscope, an accelerometer and an EMG (electromyographic sensors for sensing muscle activity on which base certain gestures are recognized). The application is designed for controlling a mobile robot capable of moving forward, backward and veer based on gestures and movements of a hand on which a Myo armband is attached. For this purpose, the application reads the relevant data from a wearable device using Bluetooth LE (Low Energy), then evaluates them and sends control messages via Wi-Fi technology to a robot. The description of a robot is discussed in more detail further below. The usage of the application (which is the main contribution of the author) and a Myo armband enable to control a set of mobile robots driven by the Robotic operating system (ROS).
Creating an Android application with help of the nutrition problem
Havlík, Vratislav ; Kobzareva, Maria (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
The main target of this bachelor thesis is to create an Android application. The aim of this application is to use household resources effectively with help of an optimization. The user chooses his own way of the optimization to his satisfaction. Application uses linear programming, more precisely a nutrition problem. In the first part the thesis deals with linear programming in general, in the second part the nutrition problem is introduced, the third part is dedicated to optimization of a healthy diet, in the fourth part Android application fundamentals are showed and in the final part the thesis focuses on the application itself.
Development of mobile application for musicians
Novotný, Miroslav ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Kutišová, Magda (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and develop an Android application for musicians. The theoretical part, is conceived as an introduction to the theory of sound. Firstly, I describe the architecture of Android and the individual components that make it up. There are subsequent chapters exploring the sound from its inception, through the process of converting to digital form, to a description of the individual interfaces for the recording and processing from within the environment of an Android system. The practical part, is devoted to designing and developing an application that serves as a tool for practicing playing a musical instrument. The application consists of various features such as: tuner, metronome and an EarTrainer. To understand the component of a tuner it has been necessary to study a theory needed to support the main functionality of calculating the frequency of the recorded audio signal. For this reason, this thesis is also a theoretical introduction to the Fourier transformation. The last part of this thesis is focusing on how the tuner compares with the calculation accuracy of other competitors. Finally, The application was published for the Google Play store.
Android aplikace pro efektivní plánování fotbalových tréninků
Valeš, Roman
By questionnaire survey are the preferences of the potential users determined. Based on this research is the bachelor's work, which is aimed on creating an android application, written. The main objective of the application is to enable efficient planning of events for football team. The application is working properly only with available internet connection. The goal is to get data from database server or send them to the server. These data are transferred to the application and displayed to the user.
Development and publication of an application on Android platform
Plevka, Ondřej ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to gradually familiarize the reader with the development process and publication of an application on the Android mobile platform. This is the practical part of this thesis. The application deals with the dynamic collections management based on barcodes or QR codes. Among other things, the application can communicate with a remote database on the web server. The gradual process of development as analysis, design and subsequent publication are described in the theoretical part of this thesis. The last part discusses the possibilities of promotion applications on the Internet.
Development of Android application and monetization
Šesták, Jan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to evaluate Android in context of other mobile operating system currently available on the market. I will mention history of Android, it's evolution and comparison with other mobile platforms. On the sample application I will introduce the principles of development for the Android operating system. Finally, I will describe monetization on real data provided by developers.
Application development for Google Android
Vacula, Josef ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
This bachelor thesis describes development of applications for Android operating system. The paper is divided into several parts. In the first part, Android operating system is described together with development tools, which are used for development of Android software. The next part of this paper focuses on fundamental blocks of all Android applications, which are necessary for successful development. It includes especially the life cycle of applications, inner communication of application components and working with application data. The whole chapter is dedicated here to graphic user interfaces, where among other things the most used graphic components are described. The last part of the thesis shows previously described theory on a practical example.
