P. František Xaver Paleček: Portrait of Czech Vianneye

The thesis deals with F. František Xaver Paleček´s work and his historical legacy to the Czech society. The author depicts František Xaver Paleček´s life, but separated and fundamental work lies finally in the elaboration of his pastoral activity in the region. His numerous sermons, his confessional, club,pedagogical and charitable activities, which made F. Paleček famous during his life already, mainly during his 24-year-work in a Central Bohemian village Kovářov, are analysed there. The thesis also tries to find out his political opinions and his material background as well. It follows his everyday steps in the region. At the end of the thesis it is pointed to F. Paleček´s life after death in memories of many contemporaries, and to his authority in social-spiritual events in the region for decades ahead. This thesis has been worked out on the base of up to now non-published archival sources. Formaly published literature, once secretly printed articles and memories helped to create the frame of the work in the second line, mainly there, where the primary sources did not offer the continuity.

Analysis of projected and actual joint facilities in land consolidation

The aim of this study is to compare the differences between of projected proposals and implemented elements of the common facilities within the complex land consolidation in South Bohemian Region. For this study we selected these test KPU: Smetanova Lhota, Řípec, Žíšov and Ratibořské Hory. On these k.ú. conducted a detailed analysis of the plan joint projects and after-terrain reconnaissance. Based on this reconnaissance was found that most of the proposed measure has not yet been realized. This applies mainly honorary networks. Another problem is that it often leads to the neglect of conservation.

Doupovské hory mts. – refraction profiles 30 june 2008

The Doupov volcanic komplex forms the Doupovské hory mts. in the western part of the Bohemian Massif, Czech republic. For several reasons, detailed geological and geophysical studie sof this interesting region arre still lacking. The situation improves as seismic measurements were perfomed there in June 2008.

Solid phase inclusions in minerals from eclogites, peridotites and granulites

English abstract Felsic granulites in the Bohemian Massif are characterized by the presence of small (from decimetres to several houndred metres in size) boudins and lenses of garnet peridotites and high-pressure eclogites. Pressure conditions of the granulites and their mutual metamorphic history with garnet peridotites and eclogites are subject of long discussion. For this purpose, minerals and textures formed at peak pressure conditions were investigated using thin-sections and mineral separates of these rocks from the Kutná Hora complex. As all these rocks underwent granulite facies reequilibrium and subsequent cooling, most inclusions are transformed to lower pressure and temperature phases. In addition to olivine, orthopyroxene and clinopyroxene, garnet from garnet peridotites contains frequent chromium spinel. The host garnet around inclusions shows Cr-rich domains as result of diffusion from spinel to garnet. Rare ilmenite inclusions with high MgO content and pentlandite were also observed in garnet. Orthopyroxene in matrix and rims of large grains have low amounts of Al and the associated clinopyroxene has relatively high jadeite content. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in terms of emergency medical services of the South Bohemian Region

The present state of the issue: Sudden circulatory arrest belongs to the most frequent causes of sudden death. The prognosis in persons affected by sudden circulatory arrest is highly unfavourable (5-15% of the affected by sudden circulatory arrest survive, 8-40% in the cases where chamber fibrillation is the first caught rhythm), however it is not hopeless and the right procedure provided by emergency rescue staff might substantially increase the probability of survival The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the frequency of trips of the Health Rescue Service of South Bohemia to urgent resuscitation, to find out what procedures the middle healthcare staff of the Health Rescue Service of South Bohemia chooses in providing urgent resuscitation and what procedures the physicians of the Health Rescue Service of South Bohemia choose in providing urgent resuscitation. A hypothesis assumes that the procedures of providing urgent resuscitation by middle healthcare staff and physicians of the Health Rescue Service of South Bohemia are not unified. The research is elaborated in quantitative form. A questioning method, the techniques of questionnaire with open, semi-open and closed questions and secondary data analysis were applied to the data collection. The research sample consisted of Health Rescue Service of South Bohemia staff members. The bachelor thesis will contribute as presentation of results at expert conferences and seminars. The bachelor thesis will also contribute to further studies of the problems in question for non-professional and professional public.

Analysis of the number of persons killed by fires since 2001 in the South Bohemian region and draft measures for the number reduction

The Bachelor?s Thesis themed ?Analysis of the number of persons killed by fires since 2001 in the South Bohemian region and draft measures for the number reduction? is an analysis of persons killed by fires from 2001 to 2010 in the South Bohemian region according to criteria defined in advance. Among these criteria belongs a comparison of persons killed by fires according to age, buildings, regions of South Bohemia territory depending on months in the year, fire occurrence cause and comparison to other regions of the Czech Republic. First part of the Bachelor?s Thesis is focused on actual number of persons killed by fires in the Czech Republic. It further deals with basics of fires, defines danger in the place of fire and classifies toxic substances occurring as combustion products. Results of the analysis of fires during which there were killed persons in the South Bohemian region according to statistical data are presented in the second part of the thesis. Based on an identification of risk areas there has been developed a system of measures, which should lead to reduction of the number of death by fire. Comparison of the data from 2001 to 2010 brings us to the conclusion that despite the decreasing number of fires the number of killed persons increases and in terms of the death in fires households are the most risky area.

The office of Saint Adalbertus in Bohemian sources

Přednostně se v této práci zabývám svatovojtěšským officiem, které bylo tradováno v českých zemích a které nacházíme v pramenech na území Čech ze 14.- 16. století. Následně bych chtěla toto české officium konfrontovat s dalšími svatovojtěšskými officii, která nalézáme v pramenech na území Evropy, konkrétně v Německu, Polsku a Maďarsku - tedy v oblastech, kde byl kult tohoto světce pěstován záhy po jeho smrti. Chtěla bych zde poukázat na některé zajímavé spojitosti mezi těmito různými verzemi officia k témuž světci, které, jak se pokusím prokázat, nevznikaly zcela izolovaně a bez znalosti ostatních svatovojtěšských officií. V analýze se pak snažím odhalit některé specifické znaky českého officia, které by mohly vést k alespoň přibližnému zodpovězení nesnadné otázky datace kompletního svatovojtěšského officia a naznačit proces jeho vzniku. Součástí této práce je rovněž edice české verze svatovojtěšského officia, která byla vzhledem k významu tohoto světce pro české země a vzhledem k existenci obdobné edice polského svatovojtěšského officia již dlouho žádána.
