Estimation of EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. value

The point of this diploma work is an estimation of EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s. value through using an approach of DCF valuation model that works with FCFF cash flow. The estimation of the value is based on a strategic analysis - that analyses macro and micro environment of the company and a SWOT analysis. That was followed by a financial analysis which examined a financial health of the company and in conjunction with the strategic analysis created a base for a financial plan which is necessary for the valuation when DCF methods are applied. By the financial plan there were estimated cash flows for three future years and after that the estimation of the value was determined by application of the DCF model.

The valuation of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s.

The diploma thesis aims to determinate the value of the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., which provides mobile telecommunications services in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the basic valuation terminology, provides an overview of a valuation procedure and introduces business valuation methods. The practical part contains the strategic analysis, the financial analysis, the analysis and the forecast of value drivers followed by the financial plan and the final valuation of the company. The value of the company is determined by the income approach, specifically by the methodology of the discounted cash flow to the firm. The sensitivity analysis at the end of the thesis identifies crucial factors having an impact on the value of the company.

The objective of this thesis is a comparison of two complex scenarios of a personal financial plan. Both scenarios fulfill major objective of securing privately-owned property and furthermore comprise a combination of other modern financial products, which generate stream of cash flows. A combination of two methods is used for the comparison - a SWOT analysis and NPV analysis, which compares monthly cash-flow values over a course of 34 years.

The main goal of my diploma thesis is to determine a market value of the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. The thesis is divided into the following parts: strategic analysis, financial analysis, value divers, financial plan and final valuation. Partial tasks are being solved in the individual parts of the paper, which are the following: determination of relevant market and analysis of its future development, evaluation of the company's financial health, elaboration of its financial plan and final business valuation.

In my graduation theses I deal with determining value of Třinecké železárny, a.s. by means of method DCF with use of FCFF and method EVA. This thesis contains strategic (analysis of a business environment and SWOT analysis) and financial analysis which presenting the base for creating the financial plan. Afterwards we can use this instrument for calculating cash flow and economic value added which are essential to valuating process.

Business plan

This thesis contains the business plan of the reconstruction of a weekend house to an apartment house. The theoretical part contains the needed resources for the correct design of a business plan, including both its shape and content. Those principles are applied to the project in the practical part. A part of the work is the financial analysis of this investment through the methods of the Net Present Value, the Internal Rate of Return and the Payback Period.
