Bachelor thesis "Financial analysis Pilana Knives" is conceived as a practical analysis of the financial situation of the company through a series of indicators of financial analysis. The first, theoretical part, defines the objectives, resources and users of financial analysis, on which follows the theoretical analysis of basic procedures and methods of financial analysis with emphasis on ratios. On the theoretical part continuates the practical application that is made on the company Pilana Knives. Practical results of the analysis are shown in graphs and then commented in detail.The conclusion containe a comprehensive assessment of financial health in the past and present, there are recommended changes in policy and presented an estimate of the future direction of the company.

Czech Airlines a.s. financial analysis

The aim of this academic paper is to identify and analytically analyze the real financial situation of the Czech Airlines a.s. with the help of the most widely used instruments of the financial analysis. The paper contains two main parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part the main methods and stages of the financial analysis of a company are discussed. Moreover a short argumentation of the usage of the particular method is stated in it. The practical part of the research contains all the undertaken calculations and the assessment of the Czech Airlines a.s. The outcome of this work is the brief outline of the main points in the financial analysis and the assessment of the future development possibilities for the company's financials.

Company's profitability, its position, expressing (measurement) and management

This bachelor thesis deals with the companies' profitability. It is divided into two parts, where in the first theoretical part it describes from available literature the principles of operation of enterprises in the market environment, and the ways how you can monitor and evaluate a particular company from the perspective of profitability. Furthermore, it describes which methods can be used to affect (manage) the company's profitability. In the practical part, the previous theoretical findings are applied in a profitability evaluation of a fictive company, where difficulties between theory and practice are pointed out (especially in the view of testifying ability of financial statements, which the profitability analysis is based on). With necessary corrections to the financial statements, relevant data needed to analyze the real profitability of the company are found, and the analysis is done and evaluated. The conclusion summarizes the gained knowledge and gives suggestions for preventing or solving the problems with distorted data included in the financial statements.

Financial analysis Kofola, a. s.

This bachelor thesis is focusing on financial analysis about the Kofola, a. s. company. First, the work is concentrating on the methodology of the financial analysis, where the main principle of the financial analysis is explained. In another part of this thesis there are defined individual indicators, all the general formulas and explanation of the final value. The thesis also tries to identify the specific part of the financial economy about the companies of non-alcoholic beverage. Defined indicators were used in the practical part of work, where they were used for the financial analysis of the company Kofola a. s. For better orientation in this particular script there were used commented tables and graphs. In the following part of the thesis there were compared analyzed company Kofola, a. s. with the biggest competitors in the market, which are Coca-Cola and Pepsi. The end of the thesis is devoted to shortly valuation of the potential development of the future plans of these compared companies.

The last part summarizes obtained results and attempts to give certain recommendations on how to improve the functionality of said enterprise.

The theme of this thesis is a financial analysis of the Ravak, Inc. from the view of external user for the period 2004 to 2009. In theoretical part of the thesis , there are defined meaning and importance of financial analysis, its users, information sources and methods of financial analysis. The practical part includes basic information about the company and application of theoretical knowledge to the financial data of Ravak, Inc. In another part of the work, the methods of financial analysis are applied to a selected group of competitors for the purpose of inter-company comparison. Conclusion contains evaluation of results and financial situation of company and their major competitors.

Than are applied methods of financial analysis on this company. After that is appraise total situation of this company and finnaly are suggested proposals to company to be better in the future.
