The aim of this thesis is to analyze recent years of declining Oděvní podnik a.s. Based on the financial analysis, I would like to know where were the main reasons that caused the bankruptcy of the company. To see how the company performed from an operational perspective, I compare its performance with a competing firm Blazek s.r.o. I apply solvent and bankruptcy models, at the monitored company, on which bases I shall consider whether the situation was coming predictable.

This bachelor work occupies with methods of financial analysis. In the theoretical part the work is aimed at function and description of particular ratios of financial analysis. The object of the practical part is to evaluate the financial situation of the firm Dřevozpracující družstvo using the methods of financial analysis. There will be accomplished vertical and horizontal analysis and analysis of ratios using financial statements which means balance sheet and profit and loss statements.

Comparison of the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. from the perspective of financial analysis based on available data

The aim of the present thesis is to compare the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. from the perspective of financial analysis based on available data from 2006 to 2009. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. In the first part, I describe financial analysis, namely its development, purpose, process, calculation of individual indicators and their informative values. In the practical part, based on calculated indicators, I attempt to compare and evaluate the development of the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. and their reactions to external events. Both companies conduct business in the same field and have their headquarters in the Czech Republic; they differ in size and their financial possibilities.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the financial analysis of the company TNT Express Worldwide, spol. s r.o. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part (theoretical) is focused on the subject of the financial analysis, methods and indicators for financial analysis. Then, in the second part (practical) is implemented financial analysis of the company TNT Express Worldwide, spol. s r.o. It is mainly an analysis of profitability, activity, liquidity, financial stability and models of financial standing. Then, in the next part, this company is compared with its major competitors. Finally, summarizes all important evidence.

Finanční analýza konkrétního podniku

The enterprise is an activity which is necessary to be continually analysed, revised and improved. The financial analysis is a tool to complex evaluation of financial situation and company management. It enables us to find, through some indicators, weak and strong points of a company and then to recommend us on what we should focus or what we should improve. The financial analysis also serves as an important source of information not only for the company itself (owners, managers, employees) but also for the subjects cooperating with the company (investors, suppliers, banks), as well as for the state and its bodies. The main aim of the thesis was to prepare a financial analysis to a given company and thereby apply the theoretical knowledge gained during the university studies. The analysis has been worked up for a period of five years (2005 -- 2009). All data have been taken from the provided annual reports of the company. Of course, the financial analysis made from openly available information is not able to answer all the questions; nevertheless it is a good source of information about the company management in the past as well as a possible recommendation to the future.

Financial analysis of aviation industry

This thesis deals with financial analysis of the aviation industry. The first section sets out further financial analysis methodology, presents the main analytical indicators, describes what the individual components of the analysis are, and comments on the importance of their values. With all these indicators are handled by the following practical part, which presents specific outcomes and their impact on the development of Aero Vodochody. The company is then compared with a company of the same focus, namely the Boeing Company. In conclusion a brief assessment of these companies and their potential development is offered.

The purpose of financial analysis of ProScan, a. s. is the evaluation of financial health and financial stability of this company using different methods and indicators of financial analysis, including spatial comparison with the competition. Financial analysis is conducted for the period from 1. 1. 2005 to 31. 12. 2010. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. Used methods include horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of funds, liquidity analysis, debt and financial stability analysis, profitability analysis, activity analysis and predictive models.

Thesis "Financial analysis of Krnovské opravny a strojírny Ltd." has a role to assess the financial health of the selected company. Analysis relates to the company KOS Ltd. in the time interval from 2006 to 2010 and partial evaluation plan for 2011. The first part describes the methodological basis, elementary and higher methods of financial analysis. The second part is devoted to practical value. Enterprise and industry are briefly characterized. Followed by analysis of itself, where various methods are applied, the selected indicators are compared with results of competitors. Finally, I interpret the data found.

The practical part includes an analysis of macroeconomic and industry growth, the financial analysis and comparison with the industry.
